  I'm having trouble with a clean install, not appearing is not in the Web Client, and I hope someone here can help you.

  I built my house with vSphere Lab 6 now it's GA, and after sunrise vCenter and run, I thought I'd have a look at the latest and Orchestrator (v6.0.1). I have deployed the OVF very well (I used the GUI client such as web client and their tools of 'integration' are all except) and entered the web configuration portal. I finished the tab "vSphere infrastructure" (SSL, authentication SSO, licensing, registration vCenter) who has successfully completed (according to the display messages).

  However, when I go into the tab Orchestrator WebClient service where no server is listed and no workflow is available. I checked the plugin vCenter client is enabled (under Administration > Solutions > Client Plug-ins) and I also tried to register through the client GUI Orchestrator and 'Add a vCenter Server' and 'Save a vCenter Server' workflows running both successfully completed. Still no luck.

  Any ideas how I can get registered with vCenter Orchestrator (I use the VCSA) or if I start troubleshooting? Good to check logs files?

  OK, if you see that the "get started page", this means the plugin vRO has not been downloaded and deployed in vSphere Web Client.

  In 6.x, the binary plug-in are hosted on server vRO and vSphere Client Web downloads and deploys it. How the plugin site is discovered is the URL extension of the VC.

  The first thing to check if if the URL is valid and the plug-in can be downloaded from it. Open the managed object browser, and then clicks ExtensionManager -> "com.vmware.vco" extension-> client -> url. Its value must be something like https://vcoip:8281/vco/vsphere-web-client/vco-plugin.zip. Open this URL in a browser and verify that the downloaded ZIP file.

  If the ZIP file can be downloaded without problem, check the file of newspaper Web Client vSphere (vsphere_client_virgo.log) traces associated with failed to download plugin (you can find the name of the vco-pluginfile).

  If there is nothing associated with vco-plugin in the papers then maybe vSphere Web Client not attempted to download it. • I designed a website in Flash CS5 and the .swf file is not displayed on the web!

  OK, I'm very new to Dreamweaver CS5, I created a website in Flash CS5 (it is a model of "coming soon").  I got all transferred in Dreamweaver CS5.  However, when I saw in the browser it works fine, but when it is transferred to my server I see nothing other than the index with the .sfw in her file files.  When I click on it, my coming soon design show! I added an index.html file, but when I do this I get a blank screen.  I tried a file index.swf without success.  How can I get this for a glimpse on the web without displaying the index?   Why are most of the Web pages too large and require horizontal adjustment? most of us do not have 36 "wide monitors. IE8 micro there a way to reduce these idioticly wide pages?

  What is a narrow box with two rows of two characters? Firefox displays this code when it cannot find the character in any available font. The most common reason to see it is that some sites are now replaces the image icons with characters that Firefox has to download. If you have set Firefox on:

  • use only the fonts your favorites instead of the page fonts
  • not to download fonts (or in total: config or by using the NoScript extension)

  Then, you need to change it in order to see the icons.

  First, check your settings here:

  "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Options > content

  Click the Advanced button and make sure there are check box 'allow pages to choose their own fonts.

  If you change this, try to reload the page. Firefox support missing icons?

  If this isn't the issue, please come back and move us to the next things.

  I have just deployed a new VRA (the only one and 1 in my vCenter) and everything looked ok.

  But when I am connected to my VRA list webclient is empty under replication vSphere.

  I had 2 devices, but each of them is saved in a different vCenter to maintain the 1:1 relationship.

  Now all are gone and not displayed, any idea?

  I had performance problems on my web client and I had to restart the WebClient service.

  I would like to know if the {tag_body, 100} principle can appear on the {tag_description} to list items Web App to limit the total number of characters.

  I prefer this method or an alternaitive to the {tag_description, preview} because it offers more control over what is displayed.

• SWF files are not displayed when the Web page is published to the web

  I was given 5 swf files to add to a Web page. I insert > media > swf and added each swf along the left side of the page. I can read the files when I saw in firefox, ie, chrome, etc. I copied then all the videos, Scripts files and html on the remote server file. When I go to the update page, the page is displayed correctly except for 5 swf files. The page is located here: http://coeh.berkeley.edu/pehsu/VideosC.html.  I use Adobe Dreamweaver CS6. Any help will be appreciated.

  It seems to give the same strange message "the server cannot find the file specified" on any .swf. If you change a the .swf .jpg file, you get the standard message on the server 404 File not found.

  Try to place one of your .swf files in the same folder as your index.html page. Then navigate to it directly http://coeh.berkeley.edu/pehsu/oscar4.swf

  for example and see what happens.

  I wonder if it is not something your server administrator might help you here.

• CSS styles does not display on the Web site

  I just revamped a site previously created in DW8 using DWCS4. When previewing in Firefox 3.5.2 and Safari 4.0.3 everything looks and works very well. After you download the files to my server (Go Daddy). It seems I've lost my CSS. It's a rich image site (any navigation are gifs) with 6 pages, but all that appears is the unformatted text. No image, no DIVs. I created the site using a Dreamweaver template, saved in XHTML format (prior site HTML). I'm on a MacPro 10.5.8. I downloaded the files to aid in DW8 and then tried again with Fetch. Same results. There is no broken links, images or CSS in my local version and all files seem to be where they should be on the site. Here's the URL.

  I also get the following error message: the content of this page requires a version more recent Adobe Flash Player (the header image is a swf file). But that's the least of my worries. It seems that when I have a problem, I'm going big! Sorry if I'm hiking.

  In regards to the message about the swf file: If you again insert the swf file: Insert > media > SWF will be inserted the code to date.

  I use robohelp 7 and I have actually two problems. First problem is if I create a < li > when I switch mode html to design mode and then back to the html view the < ol > has been replaced by a < ul >.

  Then I use the nested lists. They appear as you want in design view but when I complie the code and run it in FF or IE 8, the lists are not displayed as lists. The content of these lists is displayed just like each item in the list is a separate line. Also it will display not < dl > either.
