  4.2 creating radio group and selecting:
  Display Null value = Yes
  NULL, Display value = no value (or any string)

  When the user selects that option 'No value', then APEX point value is set on "on", but on APEX 4.1, the element has the value NULL as expected.
  
  When you look at the Web page source code, the reason seems to be that APEX does not generate an attribute value for the NULL value (if the browser returns the default "on"):

• I can't formMail.php to recognize my simple Spry Radio Group button

  I don't know any PHP, but I have a form of dreamweaver which sends its information from a document called "formmail.php" and sent me the email.

  I was able to add text fields by duplicating the code text field in the formmail.php file and it works, BUT I don't know what code should be on the file to process the information of the radio button. The radio button group consists of 2 buttons 'Yes' and 'no '.

  This is an abridged version of "formmail.php.

  Form post method gets a variable by name and sends this value to your processor.  You called $_POST ['attached'] which is the name of the container

  tag and not the Group of radio buttons.  So change:

  $radioGroup1 = addslashes($_POST['arrangements']);

  TO

  $radioGroup1 = addslashes($_POST['RadioGroup1']);

  This changes the

  arrangements for the RadioGroup1 which is the name you gave the Group of radio buttons.

  I create a formula of the "ecological footprint" with several questions of the Radiobutton.
  These questions must have a certain value attached to each possible answer and then when I press 'submit' to end these values must be added together and display the score. But how?

  * Value train/bus: 5
  * Car                                value: 7

  I have a table with dates and values (I'm simplifying the need for this question)
  
  I want to group the values (and adding the) according to the 52 weeks of the year. I mean week of consolidation for the week.
  Here the date of each weeks generated during a year, it gives every Monday of each week of the year:
  Select trunc (trunc (sysdate, 'year'), 'iw') +(rownum*7)-7 n of object where rownum < = 53
  
  What I want to do is to summarize the values in my table and group together them in every week, in that respect. The date of these weeks are generated by the above query.
  
  For example all values fall into the 1st week of the year will be grouped into this date, all values fall in the 2nd wek will be grouped in this date and so on. If no value is found for a week, then a value of 0 is generated in iorder have a 52 weeks-lines. It's basically a kind of select with "date between... and...". "and group values and that affect the number of the wee, they are relevant.

  I have a dynamic LOV that appears as a group of radio buttons. I want to display null values (Null display value set to 'All values') to use a custom search page. How to set the default to "all values"? I tried to use the value default '% null' area without success.

  In order to ensure that "ALL" is selected, you must do a few things:

  1. on the definition of your radiogroup, set the following parameters:

  Display Null: No.
  Value null, display value: (leave empty)
  Value null, return value: (leave empty)

  2. then, update the list of parameter values to include a NULL value. Something like:

  SELECT ' ALL ' d, -1 r FROM DUAL
  UNION ALL
  SELECT DNAME d, DEPTNO r FROM DEPT ORDER BY 1
  

  (in this way, EVERYTHING becomes a part of the data). Note that in this example, I used-1 as "return value zero"-that's because I use a numeric field (DEPTNO). Change a string if you are using a field of VARCHAR2.

  3. create a new calculation of Page. It should run on the radiogroup element header before. The calculation would be a static assignment of the "return value zero" you set above - in my example, it is -1 the calculation should depend on the value of the element being null radiogroup. This, I found it, is the best way to make sure you get a default value before the page is loaded.

  I did all this on: [http://apex.oracle.com/pls/otn/f?p=33642:216]. My report SQL query is then:

  I have a control unit with a radio under a radio RG_ACTION group button, a text element called "Comments" and a view comments"" button.
  
  I have another block of data base with fileds - approver, comments, date
  
  now that the record is currently selected in the block of data, that "View comment" button on its click event displays that the value in the deposited the database block comment in the text box control block comments.
  and I'm a go_item ("control_block.comments");
  
  until all of this is fine.
  Now when I click on database block to select a record I get a message saying: -.
  
  FRM-40212: invalid value for RG_ACTION field
  
  Once this message is still other things do not work as expected... as some buttons do not work, etc.
  
  I tried to debug a lot, but I could not find. Also google a lot but could not get relevant help.
