Distorted video

Hello

I recently asked problems with playback of videos on Google Chrome. The video plays choppy and causes also my cell phone to pull up in the CPU to 100% usage. I read somewhere that the flash player native to Google chrome is probably conflicted another version of Adobe Flash on my computer laptop then I disabled the Flash player for Google chrome and here is the result.Capture.JPG

The operating system I use is Windows vista 32 bit. I also tried to watch videos on Firefox and I encountered the same problems. Can someone help me? Thank you.

With Chrome, there are two versions of the Plugin. NPAPI and PPAPI. What means each acronym is not relevant. What I've read, YouTube (which is run by Google, which also makes Chrome) is to get rid of the NPAPI content this year. Soon, you will need to use ONLY the PPAPI with Chrome plugin to see stuff on YouTube.

The Flash Player for Chrome ("PepperFlash") runs independently of the ActiveX for IE or Firefox plugin standard. It is located ina different location on your hard drive and the only thing it shares, is the global settings for Storage Manager in your control panel.

What you see, is more than likely due to out-of-date video drivers or damaged (although "green screen" is usually the symptom). Anyway (outdated or corrupted), you must update them: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/945765

As for Chrome using a lot of CPU, here's my personal experience with him.

I use a lot of plugins with Firefox, my preferred browser.

I can't stand Flash, or popups, ads so I had AdBlock, AdBlockPlus, FlashBlock and AdBlock Popup Blocker all installed chrome. I also had two different plugins, download video, as well as my Acrobat plugin.

Open a new tab with all permits and Chrome opens a new process for the tab, as well as a new and separate process for EACH plugin. It's 8 process for every tab I had opened.

So, I was watching the news on CNN, and I got a new local page also open and then the Adobe Forums, YouTube and Facebook may be (hypothetically speaking - I don't have a Facebook account). That's five pages, times eight plugins. FORTY different processes. Starting to see whence the high utilization of the processor?

When I went to Google Chrome forums on this subject with screenshots, and the system reports to show the use of 100% of two carrots by Chrome and Chrome only... they fed me a line about how Chrome is much faster because it "delegates" CPU usage to "sub-process. When it takes up all my CPU has, which is not making things faster. It bogged down my laptop and it overheat.

I don't know about you, but if I had a car radio that stop my car whenever I turned it on, I would eliminate the stereo, which is what I did with the chrome. I always install it, but now it is "bare bones" and there ONLY for testing and screen shots when I need them.

Hi again - I tried Microsoft 'fixit' for WLM 11 and saw an improvement with Vista WMP. A video that froze visually now correct plays. Check more videos in the future. • PAVILION DV7 DISTORTED VIDEO ON SCREEN

Hi, to all the world, this is my first session on this thing.

I wonder if anyone has the same problem with a Pavilion dv7 laptop, through a market, the screen is all distorted, we can't distinguish anything.  Initially the distortion lasted for a minute or two and then I got good vision on the screen but now just distortion very bad all the time.  It looks like a chip fried, or something like that.

It is a shame, as the laptop very very pretty, but it cost about £800 about four years ago.  Is this a fault of stock with the range of HP?

I hope someone can answer the question for me, thank you very much.

    01010

Thanks a lot for your suggestions.

The laptop was switched off for the last six months, so I switched back on it today.  In the run-up to the distortion (not as bad as before) came, I guess it is in the BIOS OF THE ILO.  In any case, after that it seems OK, nice screen and very good video.  The only problem is an odd line or horizontally two flashes here and there, but except that everything works well.

The only differnce from before is that I plugged the DVI to TV plug, perhaps a PIN was touching another contact, I don't know.  But the distortion was as well the TV & laptop.

I'll put it down to 'No Fault Found' & 'Attention' and buy a new one!

Thank you very much for looking for the "Reolving problems with the screens", Fig-15, 'Diagonal or Jagged Line', which was the problem.

Anyway, I spent a few hours of downloading updates and at this moment, everything is 'normal '.  Of course the next time I walk it could happen again!

  • acceleration of sound distortion video youtube

When I go to accelerate because of youtube videos that I have so many subscriptions, speeding up their place save time and most of them unless I can lose another thing that lately the sound at 2 x gets agitated and above which is impossible to watch I know it seems a strange complaint that it significantly slows down my youtube subscriptions

Yes, this isn't our bug (Flash content on YouTube is a default speed control).  Video and graphics 3D are really difficult problems, even when they are native HTML.

You will need to talk about this particular issue for the browser provider.

  • 17-inch MacBook Pro in early 2011. A distortion of the screen with vertical stripes, and then it got stuck. I was forced to restart, but I couldn't go through this screen.

    17-inch macbook pro

https://www.apple.com/support/macbookpro-videoissues/ - Apple has determined that a small percentage of the MacBook Pro systems may show the distorted video, no video or unexpected system restarts. These MacBook Pro systems have been sold between February 2011 and December 2013.

  • MBP 17 inch 2.5 GHz end 2011 video-questions

    Good day to you all.

    Confusion serious, for me anyway.

There are and have had problems with the AMD Radeon HD 6750 M and HD 6770 M graphics cards. Suddenly distorted video, random reboots, odd shaped and colored stalls artefarcts etc., in the start of the end.

I happen to have one of those affected Mbps, a late 2011 model, 17-inch core i7, 2.5 GHz, the model identifier MacBookPro8, 3, model number A1297, EMC 2564. It's still fully usable, nothing wrong, but who could, not necessarily expected or, will come to an abrupt end as many owners, some of my friends have known and display these columns.

The site of Apple "MacBook Pro repair Extension program for video Issues" (https://www.apple.com/support/macbookpro-videoissues/), I learned:

    products concerned:

    • models of MacBook Pro 15 inch and 17 inch made in 2011.

    • MacBook Pro 15 inch with retina models made from mid-2012-beginning 2013

I walked to my S/N MBP, it turns out that my MBP is no longer covered.

MacTracker 7.5.5 I learn that the MBP A1297 introduced in October 2011 and abandoned by June 2012.

Repair of Apple (for models non-retine) program talks about the models made in 2011.

My question: how about the models made between January and June, 2012?

Something has been changed or modified in order to get rid of the problems of graphics cards? Something like, say, update motherboard, graphics, a radiator, redesigned, more powerful fans?

For me, it's quite confusing, via this link www.chipmunk.nl/klantenservice/applemodel.html, I discovered that my MBP 17 inch out of the Assembly line the 5th week of 2012, factory C0, Quanta Computer China. I'm not the first buyer, I don't know who it was, or when it was first purchased.

What I worry, in other words is my MBP 'off-the-hook '?

Could someone shine some light in this?

With sincere greetings from continental Europe

The original questions developed in some 2010 models with integrated graphics discrete AND who uses graphics switching. These have proved to finally have a DEFAULT MONSTER - a defect in the graphics chip itself. The problem was there from the moment when they were built, but itself has failed, until these Macs have been highlighted or installed the latest versions of Mac OS X.

In order to determine what was causing the growing pile of bad mothers replaced the field, Apple has developed the video switching Test (VST).

Trying to continue studying these issues, other issues appeared in some 2011 models. These were not the same hidden defects in the chips, but Apple has never revealed exactly what they were.

Some users suggested that they might have been problems with the excessive heat generated or process, such as the exact used solder type, or the amount the technique with which it has been applied, or all of this and more. You must be certain that all relevant updates have been applied, (if any) that these may affect cooling fan control.

When you see a reminder that is limited to a certain period of time, you can generally be assured that if your Mac does not fall within the time limits stipulated it is simply NOT submitted the issues addressed in the callback.

To be eligible for the reminder, your Mac must strictly comply with ALL requirements. It is a very small subset of users whose MacBook Pro of the time period appropriate have additional problems and will not start. They are NOT eligible for the free motherboard replacement, because they can not run (and therefore may not) the VST test.

There is absolutely no problem opening, movies, or images and audio tracks sound/Skype film is not in any way affected.  I suspect a hardware problem, but someone might suggest that he could be?  Thanks for any help BC

  • Macromedia projector video is distorted on the Satellite Pro L series

    Hello

I have problems running a file of projection of Macromedia.
It works but the video is distorted.
If I remove the 965 chipset drivers, it works fine.

But of course, it's not ideal because it causes problems with switching between the projector and the screen of the monitor.

I tried to find more drivers today ect but same problem occurs.
There's nothing wrong with the presentation that it works well on any cell outside.

    Any ideas?

    Hello

Perhaps the graphic card driver should be updated I come to the conclusion that it is a problem of compatibility between the graphics driver and Macromedia projector, due to the fact that the video works properly after uninstalling.

Then why you n t visit the Intel page and download the latest graphic driver for 965 chipset.

By the way; computer laptop Satellite Pro L do you have?

  • Video output distorted on Qosmio F10

    Hello

Until recently, my video output on my Qosmio F10 function works beautifully. When I connect my laptop to the TV the other day, using an s-video cable, the image had turned very distorted. The TV picture flickers and sometimes disappears completely.

My laptop has the graphics card Nvidia GeForce FX Go5700 and I changed no settings what so ever of the point in time when the video output was working properly.

To debug, I bought a new s-video cable and an adapter SCART. The use of these I've eliminated that the s-video TV in the port is the problem. It seems to me that if something is wrong with the signal from the graphics card.

I would be very grateful for a diagnosis on this issue.

    Thank you and best regards,

    Johan

If you are quite sure that the cable is ok, so it could also be a problem with the connection. Maybe lose plug or something like that.
However, as a first step, you may try to update the page Toshiba graphics card driver.

It would be very interesting to know if such question will appear on the new OS recovered

    Hello

I have a harman / kardon nb520-108 (I hope I have the right forum!) and when I maximize the screen on youtube or iplayer say I get a sound distortion.

I read somewhere that the bios needs an update but I need confirmation of this if it's like the side effect is that it means an installation of the sound system.

Any ideas what this could be?

    Thanks in advance,

    Hello

The distortion of the sound appears only videos streamed from the internet or have you noticed this problem too play videos from the DVD or HARD drive?

Would it be possible that the distortion of the sound is because of the internet connection is slow?

  • Re: Satellite L750-A218 - sound distortion while watching flash videos

    Well, that's my second problem.

Performance of flash on my browser video causes the sound of these videos to deform.
    Also, sometimes I get BSOD.

I tried to disable hardware acceleration that seems to extend the time to get a BSOD. In any case, I have the gfx drivers have updated to the latest version and did not get a BSOD (so far).

However, the sound distorting the problem is still there.
Deletion of data cached Flash Player on the fixed Control Panel temporarily.
However, he returned after having watched the other videos.

What's the cause? Is it a software problem, driver problem or the card gfx itself.
Also, I noticed problem of deletion of frame while playing games on max settings.

    What is that?
Thank you very much. I hope you can help me with this issue, I am really frustrated.

    Hello

I would like to know if you have noticed this problem with the system preinstalled by Toshiba (factory settings).
Other threads that you have posted here, I know that you have changed the system to Win 732 bit for the 64-bit version so it would be interesting to know if this happened before you change the version.

    > Also, I noticed problem of deletion of frame while playing games on max settings.
Usually this happens because of the strict requirements on the hardware
Maybe the game would need more CPU and GPU in order to run smoothly at higher resolutions and all the graphic details.
