Distortion of the sound after repair of files.

After running CHKDSK/r, (files have been repaired), my PC sound has become distorted, choppy, jumps and crashes randomly among all the game modes.  I reinstalled the drivers AC 97 and ran, "Microsoft Fix - It", diagnosis, which shows a good function and configuration.   Still the unresolved audio problem.  In the past when I had this problem I ended up reinstalling the OS, XP-Home Edition (32 bit) that cures the problem.  I'm hoping to avoid this if possible.  Help!  Any suggestions?

  • Latency problem causing the distortion of the sound

    I have explored a number of positions and found out that my relatively frequent distortion of the sound corresponds to a problem of latency that may occur every 15 seconds, give or take a second, higher than 29000us, but usually about 20000us.

    I disabled the common things in one by one, Device Manager without changing the latency.

    I did not have a TV tuner in the Manager devices, but uninstalled the driver of software without modification.

    Software added since the new one is Microsoft Office 2010 Small business Access 2010 and Windows 7 Professional

    HP Advisor said that it is up to date

    Finally, I got this problem resolved by HP. Their initial option was to ask me to re - install the image on the hard disk, which got rid of a lot of marketing software originally installed when sold, but it had no effect on the noise/latency problem

    Initially, I found the driver for ACPI-composite battery in Device Manager seems to cause the every 15 sec 20000us latency spike, because when I turned it off it, the problem disappeared. However, this driver was not what has been corrected to fix the problem.

    Care of HP phone rang finally comes with their solution, and it was as follows (and did not involve the composite battery ACPI driver). Despite the use of the HP support assistant, none of these changes has been marked.

    1. I was told to go to the HP website and download an update of the BIOS recently transferred to my laptop - everything seemed to say that it has fixed a graphics issue. This update of the bios makes it immediately fixed the problem, if there were still a few peaks of latency up to 8000us without audio effect and without that there is no regularity of appearance.

    2. I was also told to download the audio driver who had recently been transferred (since I first noticed my problem). This resulted in latency spikes never exceeding 2000us (and generally not exceeding do not 600us)

    I find it interesting that support assistant did not recommend these updates, and the audio driver is always marked as updated during the specific test, despite a seemingly better being available.

Download on the part of the Web site of the manufacturer of your PC/laptop, Web site of the manufacturer of the motherboard if you made the yourseof PC, or, if you have one, the sound card manufacturer's Web site.

  • Disabling photoshop to open the window after saving a file

    Whenever I export a PNG file, photoshop opens the folder where the file was saved. I want to turn it off. I noticed that this causes a problem on my Windows, all files that are opened in a new window despite the option file says: open in the same window.

    I had this problem in Windows for some time, and recently I found out that this is caused by Photoshop.

    How can I disable this function?

    I think that this happens when you use the file menu > export > Quick Export in Png that I use so not. There are also preferences for export you should look. Menu file > export > export under... does not seem to open an open dialog box after registration. File menu > export > save for Web (Legacy)... will not open a dialogue after registration.

  • All the sounds after StopAllSounds is used

    I am trying to create a button mute and reactivate. I have 2 buttons in a movieclip. On the first image, I have the button with this code:

    {We (Release)}
    stopAllSounds();
    gotoAndStop (2);
    }

    In part 2, I have the mute button but do not know what code to make the sounds start playing again.

    The sounds are at the root and the stopAllSounds works right now. I guess my question is: what is the opposite of StopAllSounds()?

    Thanks for any help.

    I was about to explain some things, but I have created a small flash file so can visually see you what I was going to explain. Look around the flash document and let me know if this is useful or if you have any questions.

    He is too weak or what?

    A300 - 15 d seems to belong to the series of PSAJ4E.
    Conexant for Win XP and vista audio driver is available on the European driver Toshiba page.

    I have the same sound chip in my book and the sound is ok... I also noticed that I have a SmartAudio in Control Panel.
    This seems to be an additional tool to improve the sound quality.

    Maybe you should check this.

    Hi shield - I.

    1. did you of recent changes on the computer?

    2. what kind of sound you hear when you restart the computer?

    It is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is causing the problem.

    Hello

    Thanks for posting your question on the Microsoft community.

    Thank you for details on the issue.

    "Audiodg.exe" hosts the audio engine for Windows operating system. All the DSP and other audio processing occurs in the audiodg.exe.

    For reference:

    I suggest you run the system file checker (SFC) and see if it helps.
    Reference:
    Use the System File Checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system files
    https://support.Microsoft.com/en-us/KB/929833

    System File Checker is a Windows utility that allows users to find corruptions in Windows system files and restore the damaged files.

    If it does not help, perform the system restore and check the number.
    Reference:
    What is system restore?
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/what-is-system-restore#1TC=Windows-7

    System Restore helps you restore system files from your computer to an earlier point in time.

    Note: When you use system restore to restore the computer to a previous state, programs and updates that you have installed are removed.

    I hope this information helps.

  • Videos playing only with the sound after update 49.0.2

    After updating Firefox to 49.0.2 I have problems with videos on sites like: http://www.cc.com/video-clips/07m87l/the-daily-show-with-trevor-noah-donald-trump-hints-at-a-not-so-peaceful-transfer-of-power or http://time.com/4514971/iphone-7-worlds-tallest-building/

    It has sound, no picture, just black background. Decommissioning of 48.0.2 helped, but Netflix videos do not work on this version.

    (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press enter/return. Click on the button promising to be careful. (2) in the above list, type or paste async and pause search box while the list is filtered (3), double-click the preference dom.ipc.plugins.asyncdrawing.enabled to switch the value from true to false

    This may not take effect until the next time that you exit Firefox and start it again.

    One of the changes in Firefox 48-49 title is e10s, separating the process of browser interface process page content. The performance impact of this can vary a lot between the systems, and it would be useful to know if you have this feature enabled. To check this, either:

    • button '3-bar' menu > '? ' button > Troubleshooting Information
    • (menu bar) Help > troubleshooting information
    • type or paste Subject: support in the address bar and press enter

    In the first table on the page, find the line of Multiprocess Windows and see if the number on the left side of the fraction is greater than zero. If so, you are using e10s.

    If you use e10s:

    To determine if this feature is causing this problem, you can turn off as follows:

    (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press enter/return. Click on the button promising to be careful.

    (2) in the search above the list box, type or paste the cars and make a pause so that the list is filtered

    (3) double-click the preference browser.tabs.remote.autostart.2 to switch the value from true to false

    Note: the exact name of this preference may vary, but it will start by Browser.Tabs.Remote.AutoStart

    On your next startup of Firefox, it must be run in the traditional way. Any difference?

    Not sure what is the problem but every few minutes, I get this thing weird sound distortion, where I'm sure that the same sound loops quickly for a second or two. It happens one second at a time and I can't confirm this, but I think the videos that I look at the time/music I listen to on the shelves in time for the amount of time (or less) of sound distortion.

    Thanks if anyone can help out me.

    EDIT: If it helps, I've heard that several devices (speakers or headphones)

    It is a firmware issue, and you must update the BIOS on your computer. This problem has been fixed in one of the most recent firmware (vF.23) available for this model here.
