  Hi all.

  I have a client that is running DMM 5.2.2 on a MCS 7835-H2. They bought a C210 to run DMM 5.2.3 a migration of the CSM hardware platform. I know that DMM 5.2.3 is not supported on the CSM hardware platform.

  Tim,

  The MCS - H2 will not support the 5.2.3 in all conditions, you can't fool the upgrade of point 5.2.3 on this platform.

  Your best option is to wait that the STM to the UCS migration tool, this tool is currently in the final stages and should be available shortly (I think in a few weeks - not yet fixed ETA). This migration tool can solve your problem, it backs up the database and the configuration of a MCS platform, and you will be able to seamlessly restore on a material of UCS work 5.2.3.

• MCS-7835-H3 headed Amber hard drive alarm

  Hello everyone,

  I have a server MCS-7835-H3, DMS 5.2.1. The server has 4 hard drive (300 GB each disc). I noticed that one disc is alarmed, the led is amber.

  I was looking for literature on this topic, but I can't find anything.

  I was watching the b.b.q and IAA interface for some information on the status of the drives and nothing... in the log files or...

  Can anyone helpme to know what is happening?

  Error light = replace. These things are pretty accurate, so if you have an error on the disk it will probably fail at some point if it isn't already.

• DMM 5.2.2 7835 H 2 DMM 5.4 VM migration

  Hi all

  We are running DDM 5.2.2 on a MCS 7835 H 2 Server and use only the DMP 4400.  We are looking to migrate to DMM 5.4 as using our software upgrade contract.  I went through the options options/upgrade of migration and to understand the process of having to go through the 5.2.2 > 5.2.3 > 5.3 > 5.4 > 5.4.1.

  But I don't have access to a a MCS 7835 H 3 or C210 server, but I have access to a C220M3.  Is there a migration route to take me to 5.2.2 for 5.4.1 running on our UCS B series taking place in VMWare 5.0?

  I saw the migration document that references the migration of 7835H 2 for the C210 to http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/video/digital_media_systems/hw/platform/migration/dmm-mcs-ucs.html

  But, as mentioned above do not have access to a C210 to undertake this.  Is there a way to take 5.2.2 configuration and this directly to import it into a new installation of 5.4 (I guess not).  can I use the C220 instead of the C210?  If possible can I run through the migration, do upgrades to get to DMM 5.4.1 install a double DMM 5.4.1 in VMware and backup the C220 and restore the installation of VMware?

  The answer is no, it is not a migration path official at this point if you have not already migrated it to C210 before, unfortunately. You need to trigger this to your Cisco team account in order to get help with this.

  I am new to telepresence, and I got a job to establish the environment of Cisco WebEx One Touch Meetinig Teleprence. have got facilities such as below:

  MCS-7835-I3-ECS1, CTS 3000 codec; the documentation seems there is Server/service as Community trade marks, CT-manager and CUCM.  My question is: what equipment should perform such services, or need to connect remote CUCM?

  2. If the answer to the above question is that Yes, I had to select H.323 Services/Start VB window etc. during the installation options. Then what don't get me, why the VB is out of service and it is looking for a GA?

  We need to upgrade our server MCS v3 to v4 and looking at the configuration required by the server on the cisco Web site caused our server admins to have a fit.

  The line that causes the most concern is the required disk space. Keeping in mind that we conduct 13 firewalls and the same number of probes IPS really do we have 2 TB of storage. As a virtual machine environment, we run the chances of getting that are slim to zero.
  What have people found is a realistic requirement for storage - I am only interested in keep logs for 3 months as firewall logs are written directly in a device of qradar.
  I can get the cpu and memory without problems, but there is a sticking point in space...
  Must be run on Server 2008 or it can run on 2003 instead.

  Specifications that reference you are tips for a better performance - disk space is much more important because of the new event monitor component added to the SCM 4.0.

  The minimum requirements are described in the found here deployment guide:

  Highlights indicate that you need a minimum of 10 GB of free space of HDD, and Windows Server 2003 is supported.

• Text will not fade unless it is broken up!

  I have a simple function that fades in or on any provided MC. It works a treat - never had any problems. Today, I created a MC with mixed text and graphics I wanted to fade in and out. Graphics fainted in ok but the active text / disabled at the beginning and at the end of the fade. I did a few test MCs of all kinds and all have behaved in the same way. On the same site as this one I have existing MCs with the text, which fade normally using the same function. Everything I do today seems melted text object! The only thing that fixed the problem was to break the text into graphics.

  Thanks kglad. Because you are bound to be on the right track and definitey text is static, I decided to concentrate instead on "embedded". Bingo! I had the police _without value and choose Arial or any other font on my system solved the problem. By choosing _without, fonts _serif, and _typewriter you select automatically "use device fonts" with no alternative option, where the fonts are not included. So I guess that's not quite true that "all static text is incorporated!

  This dongle would be directly usable in 200?

  This is true, the driver 6 MCS 7832 must be pre-installed by Toshiba or be already present in ICS.

  Don t think that there is no present in Ice Cream Sandwitch and according to the page Asix, the Android driver for this chip. Just the driver Windows, Linux, and Mac OS are available.

• Delay time 4070 PXI DMM

  I use a PXI-4070 DMM and DotNet "SoftwareTriggeredMultipointAcquisition" example

  I want to trigger the DMM4070 with the AuxTrig entry to the front of the instrument.

  This works very well, but how can I change the time out the of triigger?

  It is now on 2000msec. I want to 10000msec.

  When I us the example and do not trigger in the 2000msec I get error message saying:

  ModularInstruments.NIDmm: The operation did not complete in time maximum allowed. Timeout: 2000mS.
  Error code:-1074126845
