ASIX MCS 7832 pilot to 200 for USB 2.0 to Ethernet?

Digitus made a USB to Ethernet Dongle (DN-10050) using the 6 MCS 7832 chip.

This dongle would be directly usable in 200?

This is true, the driver 6 MCS 7832 must be pre-installed by Toshiba or be already present in ICS.

If not, is there another driver present to 200 (with the flavor of the ICS) makes "USB 2.0 to Ethernet?

Thank you in advance.

Hello

I read in some Forums Android that Digitus Ethernet USB adapter is not supported by Android.

> To make this true, 6 MCS 7832 driver should be pre-installed by Toshiba or already present in ICS.

Don t think that there is no present in Ice Cream Sandwitch and according to the page Asix, the Android driver for this chip. Just the driver Windows, Linux, and Mac OS are available.

    Hello

I am wanting to use the 3.4.0 NI DAQ driver with a USB-6501 and finds that the firmware is incompatible with the driver. The most recent driver that I used was the basic driver 2.1, unfortunately, the software that I use to send signals to the USB-6501 requires libraries to the 3.4.0 pilot.

Y at - it a firmware available that is compatible with the 3.4.0 driver DAQ for USB-6501 device?

I see that, after you have improved your DAQmx Base 2.1 to 3.4.0 drivers he said that the firmware on the USB-6501 is incompatible.

If you go through this knowledge base, it will show you exactly how to get the firmware compatible with DAQmx Base 3.4.0. In particular, near the bottom, it shows how to perform this update.

  • HP Compaq DC7900 SFF - no support BIOS for USB keyboard/mouse

I recently bought a lease out vintage 2009 DC7900-Windows 7 Home Premium running. It has connectors from the motherboard and BIOS support for a PS2 Keyboard and mouse. There also card mother support for USB but apparently BIOS does not support a USB keyboard and a mouse. Y at - it a BIOS update that adds support for USB keyboard and a mouse?

    Thank you

Well, I found what seems to be the problem. My USB keyboard and mouse are connected to a KVM switch that in turn connects to the HP PC. The KVM cable provides keyboard and mouse via a simple USB connection. I have connected a second USB keyboard directly to another USB port, and as you say, the BIOS it supported. I then connected the USB keyboard and mouse for a simple USB hub and then to the HP PC, and BIOS does not recognize the keyboard once more. It would seem that the problem is that the BIOS of the PC HP does not support keyboard behind a USB hub connectivity. I have no detailed knowledge of USB connectivity but could guess that there must be a difference Protocol when I hub is in the Middle – obviously the PC must focus on a specific device behind the hub.

In the end, I think I'm stuck just keep a separate keyboard (PS/2 or USB) around for those times when I need to communicate to the BIOS.

I have another PC of the same vintage - a custom platform - and it handles the keyboard behind the hub very well. I wonder if all new PC BIOS handle this.

Thanks again for your responses - very useful.

The three of us taken are marked with the trident USB logo. The one on the left is also equipped with a bolt of lighting journal.

    Hello

Why do you want to update your USB drivers? If you don t have win95/98/me you don t update anything it either because the only drivers for USB are integrated into windows.

You can only update the latest chipset drivers that could improve the performance of USB and fixed a few bugs. But it depends on what chipset you have and if the manufacturer of the chipset offers the chipset drivers.

  • Best way to generate the software clock for USB-6501 of Measurement Studio for c# VS2008

    Hi all

I wonder if there is a better way to generate a clock software for USB-6501 of Measurement Studio for VS2008 in C Sharp?

I have developed a clock using C Sharp "Thread.Sleep (msecPauseTime)"; and statements to switch digital output high and low. There are a few things I noticed in creating a software clock in this way:

    1. The smallest delay by the Thread.Sleep command time is 1 millisecond (which means higher clock period is 2 msec-500 Hz, not holding not ball account no. 2 below).
    2. Sometimes the delay I see on an oscilloscope is considerably longer than the delay that I specified in the sleep command.

In my application, I create signals (a clock, a latch enable and data series) to control what an attenuator step through the USB-6501 RF connected to a USB 2.0 on my computer. This particular step RF attenuator can accept clocks with frequencies up to 10 MHz, so I would like to generate a software clock (without having to connect to an external clock to a line of input on the USB-6501) which is closest to this maximum frequency, and I think that the USB2.0 line could handle clock speeds over 500 Hz. Also, I would like to know why the delays that I see on the scope are sometimes longer than the time specified by the Thread.Sleep command. Is it caused by the suspension of the execution of my program processor for something else, as I suspect? Of course, this isn't a big deal, because it does not affect the time as my serial data and pieces change compared to my clock. However, I would like to know why it does this.

    I appreciate your help.

    Jonathan,

Since the USB-6501 DIO is software programmed, you are at the mercy of the planning of the operating system and won't be able to work reliably with an external clock in the software.

You can try to set the priority of your thread 'generation of clock' to improve performance, however, because Windows is not a deterministic operating system, there are still no guarantees.  Operating systems are not required to honor the priority of threads.  You can find examples and information on the definition of the priorities of the threads in c# here:

    http://msdn.Microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.Threading.thread.priority.aspx

    Kind regards

  • driver for USB - 6221 LabView 6.0 XP

I'm trying to connect an old laptop with Windows XP and Labview 6.0.2 for USB-6221. I can't find the drivers on the site of NOR. Can someone point me at home or another source? Thank you.

Support for the USB-6221 was added in the NOR-DAQmx 8.6.1, driver that only supports back to LabVIEW 7.1.  Unfortunately, there is not a version of NOR-DAQmx driver that supports the USB-6221 and LabVIEW 6.0.2.

  • Do another counter for usb-6008 VI using Labview 8.5

I want to create another counter for usb-6008 using Labview 8.5, it is necessary to calculate the two gears simultaneously.

The best way to proceed is to use the meter.  The counter counts
signals without having to interrupt the system or use the USB bus.
When you ask the number of ticks that saw the meter, one
request is thrown from the CPU to the USB line to the 6008, which then
request counter "ticks how have you seen?  This number is
returned on the USB bus, goes to the CPU and display on your
screen.  Given that the DIO lines on the 6008 are software timed, it is
no way to guarantee that the data back to the central unit is
deterministic.  The conceptual difference between software-controlled
DIO (that nondeterministically returns an entire stream) and a
meter software-tick-application-controlled (which returns a unique number
with the number of ticks) prevents us from using the DIO lines on the
6008. the best way to count more edges is buying more 6008 s.
Another possibility would be to buy a PCI card to counter such as
the PCI-6602, who owns 8 counters. Most of the counters we offer in the
USB form factor is 2 per device.

  • several webcams in for usb or imaq vision Builder

    Hello

I have a question about imaq nor for usb or vision builder AI 3.6 (I did a vi with imaq and I run in the constructor of the vision) and I want to know how can I connect multiple webcams to the computer, and how many of them can be connected. can they all be of a make and model and can they be executed with a driver installed on the computer?

    Thank you

    Hello

In general NOR-IMAQ for USB can support only one camera at a time. You can acquire multiple cameras (not simultaneously) using USB IMAQ list VI cameras to identify each device plugged into your system and access it via the other IMAQ live to USB.

I would also like to point out that Vision Builder AI does not support the NO-IMAQ for cameras USB driver. It is designed to solve machine vision applications, but USB cameras provide in general or advanced necessary for machine vision triggering modes.  Because the machine vision and USB cameras will usually together, we do support USB cameras in Vision Builder AI.
