• How to get Adobe to fix a bug with Digital Signatures and portfolios?

  There is a bug in Adobe Acrobat.  I don't know when it was introduced, but in a few months.  I can sign is more numerically the PDF portfolio.  I don't think that anyone using Adobe Acrobat Pro XI can sign a portfolio.  I reported it to Adobe 11 days.   Every day, I check and I can't get an answer on when they will solve this problem. All I hear is the " issue has grown to our main support team."   This prevents me from doing things that are important to me.

  Does anyone know how to attract the attention of Adobe to fix a bug?  climbing the priority?  If enough people's complaint, is get fixed?

  Don't expect bugfixes in days. If Adobe agree that this is a bug and give priority to fix and the report was at the right time, it can be fixed in 3 months or more, but 6 months is most likely. Only security vulnerabilities would be on a different cycle. This isn't an official response, but a guess based on the observation of Adobe (it's faster than a few years where there was in general that a single bug fix release in each new version, maybe a year apart).

  Certainly, reports of errors more real increase in priority.

• DMVPN with 2 Hubs

  (1) if I understand correctly - Phase 1 DMVPN is Star technology. Is it possible to use two hubs of the network?

  (2) is it possible to use the router 1841 as Phase 1 DMVPN hub?

  It should be possible. The tunnel between the PIX and Hub 2 is going to be a regular with PIX IPSEC tunnel configured with all networks to talk as destination the ACL crypto and vice versa on the hub. Hub 2 will have a static route for the private subnet route tis and PIX will be redestributed in the routing process so that it is announced to the rays. Please keep in mind that the protection tunnel profile you are configuring should have configured 'shared' keyword.

• Digital start and stop trigger with restart HW

  I am trying to write a program that reads continually samples based on the rise and fall of a digital triggering.  I want the measure to start on the front of the trigger and stop on the falling edge of the trigger.  I want the data that are read to be preserved and then added with the next set of data that the trigger rises again.  I have read the tutorial "Digital start and stop trigger" and can use the reference to stop the measurement process and I looked at the example "Acq & chart voltage - Int Clk - HW Trig restarts ' that comes with LabVIEW and I can get the two of them working separately with my request.  I'm quite confused however try to put the two together (see attachment).

  If I put a "Start.vi" icon inside the while loop then I get an error "you can do this while the measure is still ongoing".  If I put it out of the loop and then the process only runs once.  I tried to put a loop structure case for restart only if necessary, but this has produced another error which the source escapes me.  Is there a standard way to do this and if so someone can point me in the direction of an example?

  I think that in this situation, it would be preferable to use a Pause trigger.  You can use the break to stop the acquisition when the trigger was low and start when the trigger is high.  In this way, served only for the duration of your trigger pulse.  I've attached a screenshot of a VI that illustrates this principle in action.

  Unfortunately, the EX7000 does not work with a USB3.0 Hub that you described.
  It is possible to use the hub with only hard drives. But the USB printer does not work with the hub.

  The OP's question was SIT support 64 - bit version of LabVIEW and 64-bit version of the MATLAB/Simulink itself, not the operating system software.

  Document in your second link is on a completely different topic to have API for LabVIEW and MATLAB/Simulink/RTW (well, mostly Simulink & RTW). Here is the relevant link for the 32-bit compatibility: http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/049295038FF0EE2A86257A06006B2DAD is no SIT 64-bit.

  Other underlying issues is that Pharlap does not have a 64-bit version. Finally, simulations are better performed on some RTOS (embedded PXI) for a deterministic execution rather than PC operating systems.

  1. I found this basic timer loop, which I need to get inside my structure of the event. How to wire this loop with my writing and reading?

I know I can't mix string and digital indicator in the same table, so the best way would be to make two tables 1 d (digital channel), or there are more basic ways to correct the problem?

  I have a VI that controls a control of linear motor with digital lines. At one point in the program setting one of these pipes triggers a task of analog input and a task of Pulse counter. This is done by putting a wire between the digital line and for example. PFI0 use this as a the input trigger. This works well.

  My general question: is it a solution, where I can use an internal signal of the 6259 avoiding the connection of the wire?

  I have found no clear information, saying that it is possible (or impossible). What you should try is to create an internal route between the digital line and PFI0 using the DAQmx connect Terminal VI. I can't guarantee this will work, but it's worth trying:

  I want to do a simple program that goes like this. I have 2 digital controls and 2 comparisons. 1 digital will compare if the number if there is less than 50. Second comparison if it is longer than 50. If less than 50, according to this number LED is blink your eyes upward and will stay on. If the second number is greater than 50 the LED belonging to this number is then blinking and will remain lit. NOW...

  If one OR both of these lights light up, a THIRD light should BLINK automatically. If the two first two traffic lights are off, then the third should stay off.

  I tried using shift registers and a deadline for the delay, but I'm stuck.

  First, you must modify your code for an interactive real state machine. Your code is inside-out.

  Currently, the controls are read once at the beginning of the program and then never.

  • Do not use internal loops. Use a single outside WHILE loop that encompasses all of the code.
  • Get rid of the stacked sequence, she is useless and obscures just the code.
  • The case structure belongs inside the loop and not vice versa.
  • Read the commands with each iteration and decide depending on their value.
  • ...

• Digital input and output problem

  Hello:

  I do a test for digital i/o:
  for a table of the digital signal to an output of data acquisition in the digital input to detect the output signal.
  (bascially, it's like a loop that goes outside the material)

  It's pretty simple, as shown in the attached fichier_1.
  It works well.
  The manual light switch controls, which means that inputs and outputs are ok.

  Then I went on the low level DAQ for better speed, as in attached fichier_2.
  But it does not work. Especially when I pressed stop to abort the loop, an error has occurred:

  To speed up, I went to the low-level data acquisition as the fichier_2 attached.
  But it does not work. Espeically when I press the "stop"button to exit the loop, the error occurs.

  Possible reasons:

  Requested value is not supported for this property value.
  The value of the property may be invalid because it is in conflict with another property.

  I don't understand why the sampling time has a conflict here.
  (It is probably just something very simple in data acquisition, but I checked a few examples and did not find a clue).

  Have you looked at the specs? It clearly states that the digital I/o is a programmed software. You have not any hardware clock at all. The best rate that you could possibly achieve is around 1 kHz and which would have a considerable jitter the nature of non-determimistic of windows.

• Outbreak of the AO tasks with digital triggering

  I'm triggering an analog using a digital triggering (PFI0) task on a NOR-6343 (USB), but don't see the behavior desired of my VI (see screenshot).

  * When I shoot digital triggering (digitalTrigger = False), the AO signals appear planned (except that... they do not fire).

  * When I turn on the trigger (digitalTrigger = True), however, there is no signal on the channels of the AO.

  * I tried two different sources: PFI0 and the clock internal (set both rising edge). For the PFI0 channel, I connected a function with a wave generator square 5 v (the PFI0 had a slow rise... time "I think I could solve this problem by adding a small circuit of buffering). However, I expect it should work correctly using the internal clock as a trigger.

  What's wrong with my code / setup?

  A few follow-up questions:

  * This will trigger the installation program not start indicator AO once? Or the trigger will cause the task to start whenever the finished AO signal and the trigger goes high? (I wish that it behaves like the latter)
  * Just to check: the response rate of the AO task to the digital trigger should be of the order of 1 MHz?

  Hello kllurie,

  What do you use the trigger for? The way you have the task to put in place now, it will run continuously until you press the STOP button and ignore any input trigger. If you want to be able to have the task to complete and start over with a digital triggering, you make the task two finishes and Retriggerable. You can configure the task to be finished by replacing the constant continuous samples on the Timing.vi with finished samples and giving him a number of samples to be taken before stopping. Then you can do the task Retriggerable using the property trigger DAQmx node and choosing Start > more > Retriggerable sometime before the Start.vi.

  As to what it should be used as your relaxation, you'll want something with a fast rise time (so that it is detected as a numerical advantage) and is not as fast as the sample clock. If you use the sample as your trigger clock, there would be essentially no difference between your redeclenchables task and a continuous. It would end the collection of samples and then immediately redeclenchee.

• How to count the pulses with digital input on 6351

  Hi all experts in Labview,.

  I just got my USB x series 6351 and it works fine, but I certainly lack of labview skills to use it to its full potential.

  I would like to read digital pulses with several digital inputs and count the number of pulses each T interval in time. All impulses that I entered on any edge of the clock are not synchronized and can occur at random times during the tests. Basically I have an oscillator of square waves can I modulate the frequency. I don't want to use the meter as inputs as I'm limited to only 2 entries (if I use the option 2 input meter for metering of pulses or frequency). The input frequency can range from 0-1 kHz and goes 0 - 3V. So not too fast, and I shouldn't make too many mistakes trying to get the count of pulses and then back out the frequency in accordance with article ni.com on counters.

  I would like to read the 8 digital input channels and get the number of impulses for each channel. I searched high and low for help online but can't find examples that have been useful. Anyone have any ideas on how to go or direct me to a resource? Thank you very much in advance!

  Are you worried about getting the number as a physical operation timed?  It would be nice to acquire a digital waveform and then postprocess on it to detect how many events took place?  I've attached an example that shows how you can accomplish this. It reads a digital waveform and then uses a detection of crete VI to determine how many pulses occurred. Should be a few adjustments to your particular signal.  The VI I use seems to count events twice (probably count each edge), so counting it gives should be reduced by half in order to work.
