  I used the tag to format text and solved the problem. In the PHP code I used the tab stops \t. It aligns data in Flash.

  I have the underside of coding and I am trying to update the text in the text box (my_txt) several times: to launch at 12:01 and after about a week. It updates at launch, and after a week, but not at 12:01. I have marked the location where the error occurs and coding is not fair.   I took a different approach, I changed the interval timer and set it for go back initially, using gotoAndPlay (1) at 12:01.

  In my case, it works as well and takes up less coding.

I have a dynamic text field, and I want to format it, (to highlight the first 2 words in red and the rest in italics).   I'm creating an iPad app using AS3. The application contains three sections.

  

  These items (chocolate sources) contains dynamic library using XML. Photos, pictures and text in this section are loaded from XML.

  I did face may I tried to run this application to issue:

  • The photos of the Gallery did not show
  • Thumbnails (buttons to navigate through the photo gallery) does not appear at all. (Thumbnails should appear in the box photo gallery).
  • The text does not (the text must be declared in each photo as describtion)
  • I want to understand Swipe in the photo gallery, how can I do this?

  Try:

  Instead of

  txfe. Text = xmlFile.image. [int (m.currentTarget.details)-1];

  and add your thumbs to the lag, not the scene.  When you are finished with the Gallery, remove the lag.

  I need help trying to figure out how to dynamically add an image (PNG or JPEG) I can put in a button library also dynamically created in AS3.

  Is there a way to (1) add the image instead of using a label text and centered it in the button?

  assign a class name to your image (for example, Img1). You can then use:

  cleanBtn.upState = img1; for example, the northern part of the State of the button is the image.

  If you want general information and the image centered on the background, create your background (movieclip or sprite), using addChild to add img1 to your context and Center it.  Then assign upState your button to be your background etc.

  I have a dynamic text box in my library.  I drag my main stage and give it a name... It's now a movieclip. The name is "mcAdmin".  I added a MOUSE_OVER event listener.  I want to change it the color of the text, but for now I just try to change the text; However, it does not display the change in the text that I want.  I do track and change is here on the output window, but it is not displayed as such.  How do I:

  Type a name for the textfield object if it isn't already (sounds like you put it into a movieclip).

  to change the text, set the text property of your text field

  Like this

  myTextField_txt.text = "here is the text."

  or if she is inside a movieclip

  To change the color, you need a TextFormat on it. To keep the same fontsize, police etc, you could first get the TextFormat of your existing Textfield, change the color of the TextFormat and place it on the TextField object.

It is pulled up using a session variable, that I created from the login page.

  My question is I want to do the # "Bill" when you click on it it goes to a new page and executes a query that retrieves infro associated with this specific invoice such as Services rendered, the Description of Service, Date, price, Total. I was able to create a link to the invoice # but I'm stuck trying to figure out how to capture the Unique invoice # and apply it to the new query. Is it possible if yes, how?

  I think it would work, but unfortunately, I am not pulling the txt files in the field.

  It's definitley give me feedback at random.

  There are ten citations in a folder: Suzuki_quotes/quote1.txt etc.

  Should I not use a dynamic text field and create a text field by using var.

  I try to keep the format of a text I wrote in Word or InDesign CS4 using a dynamic text field (multiline)...

  So far, I have unsuccessfully...  Does anyone have any suggestions?

  Unfortunately, you can not paste html formatting in textfields.  While you can format the textfield itself for font, size, color and other features, html formatting must be affected by the code, and Flash supports only a limited number of html tags.
