  • How to activate bluetooth on Satellite P200 Manager - 1C7

I installed a bluetooth dongle on my Toshiba Satellite P200 - 7 1 so I downloaded the bluetooth Manager and battery bluetooth.
Or when I tried to use the bluetooth Manager, he says there's 25-day trial.

So I wanted to know how to activate the bluetooth Manager?
If it is not possible, can someone tell me what software can I use (bluesoleil doesn't).

Thank you very much for your answer.

    Hello

Toshiba Bluetooth stack on the Toshiba site is customized and designed for Toshiba laptops.
You must use the battery Bluetooth that is customized for your laptop. Then you should not activate any BT

But look, man. your Satellite P200 - 1C7 seems to be NOT equipped with internal BT module from Toshiba!
That's why you should switch to another external solution.

  • How to activate Bluetooth on Satellite P200

    Hello

I bought a new computer Toshiba Satellite P200 - 1C7 and I do not see where I can activate bluetooth.
I installed bluetooth monitor and download bluetooth stack.

On the Web from Toshiba site, explained that we need to check the presence of bluetooth inside by the letter B after the number of PCs under him, but I can read BT HD L M W so I think bluetooth is in the computer.

So can you tell me if it is or not the case and if it is Yes, how to enable it.

Thank you very much for your answer.

    Hi Emilie

Firstly you can activate and use the only if BT it s is available on your laptop.

Therefore, you should check if your laptop is equipped with the BT module.

If the BT module has been installed, then you should find a BT tag at the bottom of the unit.

I guess that you will not find this label because your device was not equipped with internal BT module.

  • Satellite P200 - battery not charging everything by running Windows Media Player

Not sure if there is a specific problem of Toshiba, but my laptop does not charge while I run WMP. I have to close WMP, and then reconnect the power cable so that it can start loading. Also when the battery is less than 20%, it seems stop loading. I have to keep the withdrawal/re-connecting the power cable all the seconds until I get a proper load.

    Any help?

    Hello

I guess this question appeared not right the first time
Well, in my opinion has nothing to do with the fact that Windows Media Player is running, I think that it s a battery but problem is only my personal opinion.

In my opinion you or your laptop technician must verify if the same thing would happen if one would use the new battery

  • Question about battery on Satellite P200-1JV

Can someone answer this question please: what Satellite P200 battery and battery recharging happens at 100% load, and the light is blue are there continuing fees to the battery or does the pc disconnect the load?

I ask this question because my laptop is plugged in for long periods of time and I don't want to fry the battery because 99% of the time its used as a desktop pc.

    Hello!

Have you checked the manual for more information? I downloaded it on the Toshiba site because I have another model and I can find the following information on the LED power:
+ In normal operating mode, the power light is blue (depending on the model you have purchased). If the system is in Standby Mode, the LED flashes orange, while the light is off when the computer is turned off or in Hibernation mode. +

I put t know if this information is useful for you, but if the laptop is connected with the adapter AC/DC battery will not be used.

  • Satellite P200 (PSPB6E) battery seems to flow quickly

    Hello

I have a Toshiba Satellite P200 (PSPB6E) and the battery seems to flow quickly.

Anyone know of best set-up I use energy saving?

    Thank you

What is for you sink quickly? An hour or maybe two?
I have the Satellite P200D and if I use the laptop for writing and the Internet I can work for about 1 hour and 40 minutes. For me it's OK for this portable big with 17 inch screen.

I don't know what you're doing with your laptop, but running on battery power, you can use standby power option but brightness set to the next level. The original is too low.

  • Satellite P200-P100 - black screen after an update of Windows 7

    Hello

    I have a Toshiba Satellite P200-P100 running Windows 7.
A few weeks ago after an update of Windows 7, my monitor would not show any image, that she lit up, but still no picture. Not even the BIOS it will appoint.

I fixed it by using the system restore using a different monitor. The same thing happened again today, I must have ran the same update, but this time a system restore does not, any more than to reinstall Win 7.

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you

    Hello

You mean you don't see anything about internal or external monitor, even switching of the output of the screen by pressing the FN + F5 buttons?
Hmm. in my opinion has nothing to do with the Windows 7 update

I mean the update/install of Win 7 OS should not affect the BIOS and you should be able to access the BIOS, even if no operating system is installed on the HARD drive!
So I guess the question could be linked to the question of the motherboard or some parts placed on the motherboard

    Have you tried that?
Remove the battery and unplug the AC adapter
Then wait a little (1 hour) and then reconnect the two parts.
Then try to turn on the device

If this will not help the RAM modules must be verified.

To use cam in different applications such as Skype, MSN or ICQ software camera wizard cannot be started. I use Skype and MSN almost daily and cam works perfectly.

I even disabled Camera assistant software startup and it doesn t start with the operating system.
Yahoo is a bit strange and I wasn't able to get the cam works properly. No luck. I don't think that this has something to do with the CAM software.

  • Can I build at the second disk on Satellite P200-1I4?

    Hello!

Before all sorry for my bad English. =((

I have a toshiba SATELLITE P200-1I4 and the question is: can I install a HDD (additional) more. Or there is only one SATA slot in this laptop? Unfortunately for laptop is not close to me now, and I can't remove the back panel and see.
On the web site of Toshiba, I can't find any information about it.

    More information:
    SATELLITE P200-1I4
    S/N: z7269306k - M/n: PSPB3E-0J601MRU

Thanks, and I hope that all written above is understandable. =)

Best thing you can do is to remove the cover for the second HARD drive and see if the HARD drive connector is available.
If this is not the case, there is no possibility to upgrade the HARD drive.

Maybe someone on this forum has the same laptop model and can check for you.

  • Satellite P200 Vista Ultimate - boot configuration data read error

I have a Toshiba Satellite P200 running Vista Ultimate.

Recently I started having a problem after restarting after the installation of vista updates. In fact, it will not start at all and gives me the following message on a black screen.

Windows could not start. A recent change in hardware or software can cause of bethe. To solve the problem:

    1. Insert your windows installation disc, and then restart your computer
    2. choose your language settings, and then click Next.
    3. click on "repair your computer".

If you do not have this disc contact your manufacturer aministrator or the computer of the help system.

    File: \Boot\BCD

    Status: 0xc00014c

Info: An error occurred trying to read the boot configuration data.

The only way I can fix it to insert the recovery dvd and click on repair. This levonorgestrol only when the computer restarts after an update. If I manually turn off the computer, then on start up fine.

I don't want to put automatic offf to update more because I think they are important from the safety point of view, however, this situation is not acceptable.

    Can someone please help.
I have a screenshot of the error, but have reproduced the information above.

    Hello

In my opinion, there is something wrong with your mater boot (MBR) of the drive and therefore the bootloader causes an error.

Usually, you might be able to fix it using the original disk of Vista but it s really strange that this problem still occurs after the update to vista.

In my eyes, you should really check if the same problem would happen using the Toshiba factory settings and configuration.

    Good luck

I changed my internet provider, but the Toshiba will connect to the internet only when the blue ethernet cable is connected.

Yet my laptop marry connects easily.
I'll start, connect to identify the wireless network and tap on connect, it tries, but says connect with limited access.

    Hello

    (1) have you activated the WLan card?
To activate the Wlan you must pass the antenna WLan switch on IT (LED should Flash) and you must use the FN + F8 key.

    (2) did you check the WLan configuration?
-SID, right encryption settings, good filtering by MAC address, good TCP/IP settings on the right

    (3) have you tried to update the driver WLan?

    (4) don't you update the BIOS?

If this is not the case, check this box!

My toshiba do but not any version of Vista - only Toshiba product recovery DVD.

Have you installed or included the SATA driver?

The new laptops are equipped with a SATA controller and this is why you would need to include the SATA drivers that would recognize the HARD drive correctly and would help to insatall the Windows operating system!

  • Satellite P200 - no integrated noise "subwoofer".

    Hello!
I have a Toshiba Satellite P200-1FM with a high "subwoofer". At least the manual says theres is one and its supposed to be at the bottom of the laptop. I can see it and it looks like the picture in the manual. I tried it prick with a toothpick (of course) just to make sure that theres a speaker it and not just plastic. There is some flex in it and it sure sounds like a speaker when I poke him. However, my problem is theres no noise coming from him.

I tried both Vista and XP, and several different drivers without success. Anyone got any ideas? Anyone got the same laptop as I do? Your "subwoofer" work? The other speakers work fine, btw.

    Help, please!

How do you know that your Satellite P200 subwoofer integrated?
