I count on Open Office odt. for documents and lists that I can easily add or modify files. I went to do yesterday and found that all the odt. files have become pdf files that find it me impossible to change or review without having to pay a monthly fee to Adobe! Updated to 2015.5 Photoshop and now it says "BUY NOW".
So I downloaded the new 2015.5 Photoshop and now it says "buy now" next to it, so I did some research and it seems that the common remedy is to sign out of your creative cloud account and then sign back in, well, unfortunately, it does not work. So next time I sign my account adobe on their Web site to make sure everything looks good and it just shows now that I have the "free membership creative cloud" and I don't have any active member of the payer. So I check my bank account and I'm still paying for it, and also I would include that Lightroom still works fine. So, I don't know, if anyone knows what the answer to that is, please let me know

I have just downloaded/subscriber to photoshop and paid the annual fee. Following purchase, my very first time to load the Client creative Cloud, the app closed and will not reopen. I can't locate the original location of the purchase link, so now that I'm just try the 'free download' option. Still crashes the Client Creative. I upgraded to Yosemite. Same thing. A subscription is by definition a current monthly payment. If you pay all in advance, it's quite up to what specific plan you choose. It goes the same for cancellation options. Prepaid annual plans are not available for all packages and not in all regions, and since you have not provided information thereon, we can not really help you sort through the part. contact options can be found on pages to purchase CC for your region.

I have major problems with the latest versions of 2015 of photoshop and illustrator. It takes 15 minutes to read a file and often more than one hour to save a file. I am unable to have photoshop and illustrator open at the same time and constantly feel the programs to crash. It takes me days to do something that has already taken a few hours. Is there advice that everyone has on new updates or everyone knows these issues? I use a pc not mac. It seems that both photoshop and illustrator now use a lot more disk space and my computer is constantly feeezing. Willingness to purchase additional memory to fix this or is anyway I can return to these applications 2014 versions until the problems are resolved? I have a backlog of work and working around the clock, but am so frustrated with hours spent staring at the screen waiting for a file to open or save.
Seriously beyond frustrated, the loss of income of lost time is simply not acceptable, when you pay for an app like this expect to work!
Uninstall versions 2015, run the cleanup tool and check for previous versions of the CC app.

I have a subscription to CC Photoshop and Lightroom. I bought a new Apple MacBook Pro last week. I had Adobe shadow my computer to download both programs on my computer. Downloads succeeded, but now my problem is that nothing has been transferred? I have photos and user presets on my old computer in lightroom, but nothing transferred. Also, it is show on this computer I have 5 Lightroom, but team support pulled up to my account today and downloaded lightroom cc if it still means something. I am a new photographer and green not computer savvy. I am totally confused with no further assistance from Adobe.
It's pretty normal. All your images are always on your old computer and you transfer those to your new computer. Just transfer them as well as your catalog file and opens in Lightroom on the new computer. For presets, you need to transfer files, preferences and presets that are hidden in folders hidden on the Mac. Therefore, with the Mac, when I update the machines, I'm usually just restore from a backup on the new computer (very easy with Time Machine backups) or directly from the old machine (a little harder). This will give all files and settings and the software installed on the old machine immediately and you can just continue. Is not something that Adobe can really help you with either said by the way, but you might have someone from the Apple Store help you with that, if you are not comfortable with moving files to a new computer.
Cc of Lightroom is simply a version update of Lightroom 5. CC requires a monthly subscription that pay you apparently. You did not use the software you pay for if you use 5 Lightroom on the old machine.

- Right-click on the icon in the Finder and select the 'Go - To' folder option.
- You will get a text box, type in the following command and then press the 'return '. ("Not to be missed ~ symbol")

- Then browse the newspaper > Adobe Download > DLM. LOG - Open this file and scroll to the bottom of the appearance of the page for a link http; swupdl find that link and it should download the patch file to update.
WINDOW:
- Go to: RUN > type %temp% > Adobe Download > DLM. LOG - Open this file and scroll to the bottom of the appearance of the page for a link http; swupdl find that link and it should download the patch file to update.

So, you can buy Photoshop CS6 for $699. Then you never admit it. And it's is more updated to ALL except the Camera Raw updates and those will probably stop at some point.
Creative cloud for photographers, $9.99 / month. For that same $699 you can have the version the most up-to-date of Photoshop AND Lightroom (if you are not using Lightroom then who cares) for 69 months. It is more than 5 years.
9.99 $ per month, you will always have the version the most up-to-date of Photoshop. For what you would pay for a version that is 3 versions back and is no longer updated, you can always have the latest version for the next five years. No upgrade ever.
