  I got it! I had installed the program Microsoft parental control on my computer and things seem to start down. I uninstalled the program, and everything seems to be working again!

• WRT610N not showing BLUE for Gigabit connection?

  I was on the phone with Linksys TS tonight (and hung up) and also the Live Chat and not getting anywhere.

  I have a nine WRT610N router. Everything works fine when connected by cable CAT6 between my PC and the WRT610N. Firmware has been upgraded to the last descendant of site Web after installation. The only problem I see so far is the following:

  Gigabit Intel Pro1000/GT card, cable CAT6 from PC to the router. EasyLink Advisor shows 953Mbps, the LED shows GREEN (10/100) router is not BLUE (GB). I tried 2 ports on the router and 2 separate new cables CAT6. Is there a problem with the firmware of the router the WRT610N, or display BLUE for a gigabit connection?

  It is a known problem with the WRT610N.  Depending on how you look at it, the manual is incorrect, or the firmware is incorrect.

  For the moment, the following applies to the WRT610N:

  Green is 1000 Mbps, Blue 10 / 100 Mbps.

• Windows Live does not show messages that I've transferred from OE on a XP machine.

  I used EasyTransfer to move the contents of my old machine XP with Outlook Express on my new Windows 7 computer.  Then I installed Windows Live in the W7 machine.  I don't remember the details that happened then, but WL announced that he had found a number of imported messages.  However, the most recent of them was almost 3 years from 2010.  (Back in 2010, I may have made a reconstruction or backup that gave these messages a different status - can't remember).

  I then went back and re-run EasyTransfer, but this time, under Advanced options I said to transfer Applications/identities.  He did his transfer in the night and the next morning, I launched Windows Live and called "import".  It took a half hour or so, to import thousands of messages in the Inbox, sent items box and others.  It just seems like it should.

  But when I browse Windows Live (very clumsily) the sent items box always seems to be empty, and the box front desk only keeps old messages from 2010 and before.  How can I find my old email?  (There are two inboxes, one labeled with my email address and the other marked storage.)  Both contain only old messages.  They do not seem to share everything).

  We normally find records containing messages imported into a folder called files imported under storage folders. An easy way to find them is to press Ctrl-Y when you view your list of messages. This will display a full folder tree, so you should be able to find the records you miss.

• Contact form labels do not show chrome until refreshed

  On my contact page, http://truehdfitness.com/contact.html, labels do not appear unless the user refreshes the page.  It happened to everyone who has tested the page for me and used Chrome as well as on my own computer.  For now, I've added a note on this subject, but this obviously isn't the optimal solution.  Any suggestions?

  What you are probably having is a bug with Chrome 33. See this thread - http://forums.adobe.com/message/6157419.

  9.3.3 isn't the latest version of the software for your phone or your Apple TV.

  Try the following steps for the Apple TV 4, check if things work after each step if necessary, before you try the next.

  1. Restart the Apple TV (settings > system > restart).
  2. Restart the Apple TV by removing ALL cables for 30 seconds.
  3. Restart your router. (Also try to remove the power cord for at least 30 seconds)

• Messages receive do not all messages

  Last week, text messages I receive are not appearing in Messages on my iMac running el capitan.  It seems that my iMac will not show messages from others using iOS because all of the texts have the blue background.  My iPhone 6 and Apple Watch will show me all the received texts, even the most 'green' a person outside the ecosystem.  I confirmed that show the preferences on my iMac that join me by my phone number and my apple id email address.  On my iPhone, I confirmed that the transfer of SMS is activated for my iMac.

  I'm not 100% sure, but I think that has happened after my iPhone update 6 and Apple Watch to the most recent update.

  Don't know what to do.

  According to Messages (El Capitan): get and send SMS messages it sounds as if you already set up correctly the text message forwarding, and it should work exactly as you describe.

  That really should be all it takes, so by way of troubleshooting, I suggest you focus on the iPhone because I suspect that that is where the problem may lie: Unlike an iMessage, SMS messages are 'transmitted' from it to Messages of your Mac app, and apparently happening.

  Try the usual methods of iOS, e.g. restart the iPhone If you don't have it already. Toggle the selection of 'text messages transfer' of your iMac. Review the requirements of the SMS of the following section: continuity of use to connect your iPhone, iPod touch and Mac - Apple Support.

  That's all I can say for now. While this works for me, it could certainly be a bug introduced in the last update that does not affect everyone also.

• Photos from D: drive not showing is not Up in Photos App

  I have 2 sites set up in my library of images.  C:\Pictures and D:\Pictures.  All the pictures I have put in the directory C:\Pictures immediately appear in the new Photos app.  However the photos on my drive D: not will appear in the same Photos app if the folder are in are included in my library of images.   I had actually just a live remote session with Microsoft Support and I was told that it is a limitation of windows 8, which will appear only images located on the C: drive in the Photos app.

  Yes, the content on the drive can be moved to a folder in the picture library. Given that you do not want to be able to access an external drive using the photo app, use your comments to submit your suggestion.

  1. Open the photo app
  2. Press the Windows key + C
  3. Select settings
  4. Select your comments
  5. Select I want to suggest a way to do something better
  6. Select Next
  7. Add your comment
  8. Select submit

  Well, it is not an external drive.  The drive D:\ is an internal hard drive connected via SATA.   In windows 7, I had moved my personal files on the disk D:\Pictures.  So when the folder navigation D:\Pictures actually appear in Explorer as my images since it is the default image library folder.

  I have moved all content of D:\Pictures to D:\TestPictures and added the file TestPictures to the photo library, and now my pictures are appearing in the Photos app.  They did not immediately so I guess that they do not show up until the files have been indexed.

  So the D:\Pictures folder was not indexed (he was reported to BE indexed for several days) or windows 8 has been confused by move me my personal folders on windows 7 to a new directory and moving them to D:\TestPictures solved the problem.

  Apple released the update iOS 9.3 for some devices (air iPad and the front, iPhone 5 s and forward) due to problems with activation. You may not be updated until a patch is issued. I recommend to wait for some time (days?) before trying again.

  If you cannot connect to your admin account, no tutorials can help you because they need you to connect to an administrator account to carry out the instructions.

  See if the following can get an admin account...

  Go to Safe Mode...

  Restart your computer > immediately and repeatedly pressing the F8 key until you see a black and white screen. The top/down arrow and select Mode safe mode with networking.

  Now, while in safe mode, you perform one of the following?

  1 can connect to your account admin without the error message?
  If so, do. Then do a system restore. Choose a date when you were free to login to your account admin as your restore point.
