• Russel Brown Image Processor Pro works is not about Photoshop CC 2015.5.0

  Hi all

  I went to install Russell Brown Image Processor Pro 2.3.1 on my Adobe Bridge / Photoshop CC. I have a Mac computer and that you have installed manually (by following the steps described in the provided Pdf) the Image Processor Pro by dropping plug-ins in their designated files.

  Now, once I did, the Image Processor Pro is displayed in the menu drop-down from the bridge, and when I press on it (once), the only thing it does is to start the Photoshop application without further intervention. There is not a pop-up of any kind.

  I have the latest version of Photoshop CC 2015.5.0.

  My question is, does anyone know a workaround for this problem?

  Update: for what it's worth, I managed to find a Dr. Browns Services facility, and who install it on the site of Adobe here: https://creative.adobe.com/addons/my_addons

  It has an option to install it, which is what I did, and that's available on the CC bridge, however with the warning.

  Whenever I get close the bridge and then run it again, a pop up appears to indicate this:

  I click Yes, and then go the preferences at the bridge, as part of Startup Scripts, activate the Services of RD Browns. I close the bridge, start it again, then get this popup:

  

  I choose ok, Bridge opens, I go to tools and in its menu, there is Image Processor Pro Dr Browns Services and fully operational.

  As long as I never close the bridge, Image Processor Pro is still there, but whenever I close the bridge, I need to follow the same steps above here.

  Hope this can help someone out there.

  Creative cloud apps do not use serial numbers. Please log out of creative cloud and sign in.sign and disconnect activate Cloud Creative applications

• All of a sudden will not start Photoshop [on a Macbook Air]

  Hi all

  I'm on a MacBook Air with OS X 10.10.2 and I use Photoshop once a month, but now I really need, and it does not start:

  -As soon as I click on the Photoshop icon I get "Unable to open Adobe Photoshop CS5.1 because of a problem." And when I click on the "Report" button... "I get a very technical message (see below).

  -J' used Photoshop on this machine for about a year without problem, but recently I had a problem and needed to recharge my Time Machine backup.

  -I don't know if the problem occurred immediately after the restore or not.

  -J' read countless discussions on various forums, but nothing explained my problem exactly. I suspect a problem with my paths and permissions (since I read a report that restoring from a TimeMachine causes these problems sometimes), but I don't know which way is corrupted/missing/illegible.

  -J' tried to create a new account admin and Photoshop from here. It did not work.

  -I don't mind reinstalling, but I don't have a picture of the installer. I started with Photoshop 6, then updated to CS2 and CS4 and CS5. I have all the serial numbers but not all the images-updated.

  I would be grateful for clues on how to diagnose further and some problem.

  This problem is due to the last update of Nvidia drivers.

• 'Open with' does not not with Photoshop CC 2015

  Hello

  I've just updated to CC 2015 (Windows 7) and now when I right click on a file and go to 'open with', Photoshop is no longer there as an option. When I go through the motions to set as default and select Photoshop he refuses to recognize the action.

  I tried to uninstall and reinstall Photoshop a couple of times, but it has not solved the problem

  I can of course run Photoshop and open files from inside Photoshop is simply embarrassing but nevertheless quite annoying.

  Has anyone else had this problem with CC 2015 and if so is it doing something magical with Regedit (I'm not good technically with computers in the slightest)?

  This has been covered in a couple of other threads. From what I can tell, Adobe installed mistakenly leaves paths in the registry pointing to the old versions, uninstalled Photoshop.

  You can change the registry or probably do an uninstall complete and reinstall Photoshop so the installer resolves the problem.

• Could not start Photoshop - 'could not open a file '.

  Hi, I recently installed Photoshop CS5, but everytime I open the app, I get this error message on loading screen:

  "Cannot open a file because the file is locked or you don't have the necessary access privileges. Use the "Get Info" command in the Finder to unlock the file or change the permissions on the files or folders inclusive. »

  I looked online for solutions everywhere, but I obviously was unsuccessful and I am at the point where I don't know what else to try, other that a clean install of my OS, however it is a last resort that I currently do not have an external hard drive to transfer my files to do this. So far, I have tried these things:

  • Photoshop reinstalled several times, even the BETA of CS6 version gives me the same error.
  • Files deleted preferences in/Library/Preferences /.
  • Used the alt + a cmd shortcut when Photoshop starts to select a different disk location.
  • Used the cmd + alt + shift shortcut to delete the settings file, which I can't do as the above mentioned error message appears before the window to delete the settings file.
  • Tried restarting several times, even in safe mode and I still get the same message.
  • Tried to change the permissions on the folder Applications and Adobe, CS5 CS5 application folder, folder but they are all set to "read & write access" for me. I am also set as an administrator.
  • Cleaned my cache of all unnecessary files.
  • I also fixed my permissions using the disk utility, but that does not solve the problem.

  I have a 2010 Macbook Pro, 4 GB RAM, running OS X Lion 10.7.3 with 2 xxxx on my hard drive (OS X and Windows 7). I have 15 GB free on my partition OS X currently, which may not seem like much, however I have Photoshop CS5 already run as a trial and other versions of Photoshop and the small amount of hard drive space has never affected the ability of the software to create a file.

  The strange thing, however, is that I can use Photoshop CS5 and CS6 on a guest account that I created recently, which means that the problem I experience is based permissions. Opening a session on a separate account is a pretty good solution for the moment, but it is incredibly painful to keep changing account just to use Photoshop.

  Someone at - it any other ideas? As I mentioned earlier, resettlement is a last resort because I don't currently have the necessary resources.

  I managed to fix it myself, almost by accident, after that each method failure suggests that I came across.

  My problem was access 'read only' being defined in certain folders in ~/private/ on my main account, which means that Photoshop could not create a file important, temporary in this place.

  For anyone who comes across this thread due to having the same problem, here is the solution:

  1. Open the finder, then go to 'Go' in the menu bar and select "go to folder".
  2. In the window that opens, type ' / private / ' and click 'Go '.
  3. Then, right click on the folder "tmp" in /private/ and select 'get info '.
  4. Here, do scroll down to the section permissions and change permissions for user relevent "read and write".
  5. Before you close this window, click the gear under the user list icon and choose "Apply to included items" and press "Ok" in the next window.
  6. Finally, repeat steps 3 through 5 for the folder named 'var', also within /private/ and you're done. Photoshop should now open as expected.

  Although this solution was ideal for my laptop at home, giving "read and write" access to important issues like these can probably lead to lowered so security please, do so at your own risk.

  I tried to update photoshop to the most recent version cc2015.1 but Creative Cloud says that I have the current version that is incorrect. When I open photoshop version I currently have is cc2015.0.0. I had cc2015.0.1 but followed the instructions from Adobe on how to correct the situation and uninstalled photoshop. When he relocated it installed cc2015.0.0. I chatted with support 3 different times. First guy sent me a link to a mac patch file. I have windows. The second guy sent me the file of windows. When I ran, it says update failed. Updates could not be applied. The patch is not applicable to you. The last guy told me that I had the current version and creative cloud told me when an update is available? Can someone help me get the update 30 November cc2015.1 Photoshop?

• Photoshop cc 2015. Photomerge does not open Pentax PEF files in Bridge or Photoshop.

  I use a Mac Pro with El Capitan. It wasn't a problem for me until the last update of photoshop. Pentax PEF files does not open Photoshop CC 2015, Photomerge. I tried to open Raw Pentax PEF files to my 645Z in bridge-tools-photomerge both file-automate-photomerge in photoshop. Neither the program recognizes the Raw PEF file. Instead, I get this message that Photomerge is in need of at least two selected files. The files the other cameras RAW always opens in photomerge.

  Curiously, the Pentax PEF Raw files open in Adobe Raw Converter and open molten at panorama in Adobe's Raw Converter.

  I uninstalled creative cloud including my preferences and reinstalled creative cloud with photoshop and bridge. I have reset the bridge preferences.  I checked under the bridge, Healt folder as photoshop cc is selected for the Raw of Pentax PEF file. None of these actions corrected the problem.

  A solution would be much appreciated.

  Well I finally understood why photomerge did not work on my PEF files. Through a process of elimination, I narrowed the issue down, not a problem in photoshop or bridge, but the way I scored a record believe it or not. When I created and marked a record of a recent meeting of nipples raw files, I added a slash between the digits of the date as this 09/11/15. Once I removed the slashes that everything was back to normal photomerge was able to recognize raw PEF files in this folder.

  For some reason, the slash prevented photomerge to recognize raw files in this folder. Yet these same files could still be addressed to panorama of in camera raw. Go figure.

  I searched for the answer to this problem without success it's just by chance and a lot of reading that made me try to rename the folder up and down. I hope that this solution will help other people who may come across this problem in the future.
