  Same fixed.  At executed license repair tool, Adobe - Adobe licensing repair tool, and it fixed the problem.

• AE CS4 does not start on the Multi-Core system

  I use an older version of After Effects (AE CS4).  I recently built a new job which is bootable in different choices of multicore (up to 40 cores).

  I can start AE CS4 on the configs of start up to 16 cores.  But above all that, AE CS4 does not start.  It will not even appear the start screen (but the AfterFX_32.exe process appears in Task Manager).

  I was wondering if it is possible to get the AE CS4 to work on configs with more than 16 cores?

• DW CS4 does not start

  I am using DW CS4 and have been for many months with no problems - Version 10.0/Build 4117. All of a sudden it does not start, when I click on its icon I see the big green DW block and then a notice from Microsoft stating that Dreamweaver CS4 has stopped working - a problem... and the only choice I have is to close the program. I restarted my computer and tried again, without success. The program resides in my Program Files/Adobe folder on my C: drive.

  Bad, I need the program for the work I do. I've added no new software to my computer lately--at least none that I know.

  A similar problem existed with Dreamweaver CS3, but was supposed to have been fixed in CS4. It of a long shot, but worth a try...

  Rename the folder that contains the site that you worked last and see if Dreamweaver starts correctly. If this is the case, look in the site, you have disabled to see if any file is 8 KB (8192 bytes) or an exact multiple of it. If so, it supprimer delete site, rename the folder to its original name and restart Dreamweaver. If DW starts successfully, the bug 8 192 is back.

  However, as I say, it should be fixed in CS4. The other thing to try is rename your personal configuration file. On Vista, it is located in C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Dreamweaver CS4\en_US\Configuration. This is a hidden folder, so you must enable hidden in Windows Explorer folders. Rename the Configuration_old folder and launch Dreamweaver. It should create a new Configuration file with the default settings.

  It is a known problem that some users seem to face.

  The solution is to remove the application on the device and then put it back.

  Note that the deletion, it is very important - a reinstalling of iTunes normally does not help.

• Bridge CS4 does not start

  Forgive me, but I'm new to Photoshop.  I just installed CS4 Extended and tried to charge toward the high bridge.  It freezes immediately. CTRL-ALT-DELETE will return me to Windows.  I checked the other posts and have done the following:

  Update video drivers

  CS4 11.0.1 update

  Bridge opened in CS4 - gel

  Bridge opened with pressed CTRL and reset - gel

  CS4 has worked without any problems.

  System Specs:

  Windows XP (Service Pack 3)

  Processor AMD Phenom 9950 Quad 2.6

  4 GB of Ram

  NVidia GeForce GTX 260

  Any ideas?

  And HERE! I was in the section Support Norton and noticed a task for Norton does not not with programs that access the internet.  The short list has not designated an Adobe product, so I downloaded the patch anyway.  AND IT WORKED! I don't know how or why, but the bridge starts without problem! I almost cried... lol! I will post this info on the main Board with the link to Norton for everyone!

  I had to reinstall programs CS4 on my Mac (current Yosemite), and some programs does not, including Photoshop. The icon flashes for a second, but nothing happens. For InDesign, an error message appears, Illustrator seems very well, does not open Acrobat, etc. I had to drag and drop the programs of my backup hard drive because I couldn't drive 2 installer Adobe CDs to work at all.   I give a try lightroom 3 (finally...), but has noticed that when I have an image to which I applied 'detail' adjustments to reduce the luminescence and color, using "Edit in Photoshop CS4" noise opens the image without the detail adjustments applied.   Choose rendering with option of Lightroom - not thatdisplay? By default "Edit with" uses the version of Photoshop to Adobe Camera Raw and CS4 is older than LR3.

  This image is only a little more than 3 megabytes.  It's not quite large for a true CR2 file from your camera - they are normally over 10 megabytes, right?

  The raw file seems to be truncated.  Photoshop does not open, and the free software IrfanView will convert only the upper left quadrant.

  

  Regarding the recovery of the images, at least in part, you may be lucky...  Canon's Raw files contain an embedded JPEG preview image.  It is smaller than the size of the full pixel of the camera and in front in the file.

  Photo Viewer Windows 7 or the free software IrfanView will extract the JPEG embedded all of the image of the figure of the cat of this file.  You may use these tools to extract previews for use.

  

  How you did load the images into your computer?  He must try to understand how they have been truncated.

• Dreamweaver CS4 does not start

  I just installed dreamweaver CS4 on my laptop Vista Ultimate Edition, installation seemed to happen, but when I try to run DW CS4 I get the Green splash screen, which disappears, and then I get nothing! It does not crash the computer, everything works still fine, just no DW.
  
  Some time ago I installed DW8, which does the same thing. Then bought the latest version of Adobe assuming that will fix it. I uninstalled the previous Macromedia 8 suite before installing CS4.
  
  I uninstalled CS4 totally cleaned with the CS4 Cleanup utility. Removed a police log file marked as an error. All reinstalled and still have the same problem.

  I guess I should be more specific. If I had the same problem you are
  meeting I would do a complete search in CS4 folder for the file
  WinFileCache*.dat and delete it. You have nothing to lose.
