  Hello everyone,

  I use JDeveloper 11.1.2.3

  I am faced with a situation that I thought it would be simple to solve, but in fact, I'm not finding an overview. I had provide some customization to the end-user at my request (to be more precise, each user can set the default language, which would be loaded whenever it connects and do its work). To get the changes immediately, I inserted the standard way to fully refresh the current page.

  The problem is my pages using a page template (actually there three different page templates in use at the present time). And the model did not get updated with the page (he does only after some navigation). It is clear to me from the model it is another page and has it's own pageDef. My question is, "How can I get the updating of page template at the same time as the current page?"

  Thank you for your response. My goal was to change the language of the page (ie: the locale), based on a value of the "Language" property on the users table. The problem was on the page of model component that did not change immediately.

  In any case, I think that I managed to solve this problem. Each jsf page has a 'f: view' and a 'Local' property So I make this property value gets a managed bean in which ownership of 'Language' referred to above is extracted, and the problem with the model is solved. The only problem is I want to set it for each page, but it seems that it works pretty well.

• Firefox does not update in page of google finance

  When I go to my favorites, firefox is not updated page of google finance, 1 week now works OK in Chrome. Tried resetting, (lost my scapbook, despite the backup info) fact Malwarebytes search Kaspersky, even system restore.

  In Firefox, it is Ctrl + F5 to bypass the cache.

• TPL is not updated for pages

  I am facing a problem that met a lot of people it seems to be. My BPD, which allows to update all pages successfully when I got it, is more updated. He does this with two of my sites, and it has recently started to happen after an update of Adobe.

• changes/updates to the master page will not update other pages

  I made some changes to my template and saved.  I went to the homepage and others, and it does not reflect these changes.  It is mainly the size (height) of my page that is not setting...

  In the case where you have reduced the height of the page but the homepage always shows the same height as before, then search for any content on the homepage which does not allow page reduce the size.

  It's strange. I have a model which I created all the child pages in this Web site and now want to change the navigation to add a new structure of drop-down menu under 'business.'

  From the model, you will see that I changed some sections commented in the code. Then I saved the .dwt file, he was not asked and did not update the rest of the pages in the Web site.

  Normally, I work with models like a quick way to handle just about any change to navigation and other commonly available on a Web site sections. This is the first time I've seen Dreamweaver simply do not update the pages (or even ask) after a model change.

  My advice is to exit DW, restart, open only your template and modify slightly (add a comment somewhere) save and update child pages. If this does not work, then give Adobe a call because something isn't right.

  Help us! Our model we have created with several editable regions will not update other pages when we make a change to the model. We bought books, called Macromedia, called local experts and we're back to the drawing board. Why will update our model? It has several tables in it, and we can apply our model of new pages we create them, but if we make a change in an editable region on the model and update the pages, pages never receive changes. If you have any ideas, please let us know. We have more than 100 pages to our intranet site and we cannot begin to replace each page individually. We must do this work. Help please!

• Files not updated to default.dwt

  NONE of my pages are updated in the model that I created from. To create them, I did the following:
  
  File > new > templates > Site name > model name > create...
  
  Then I would put the file to all that I created... for example, index.htm
  
  I did it for 6 new pages...
  
  Then I change the links on the template and got it, and when people ask me if I want to update ALL the pages that have been created based on this template I answer Yes... (obviously)...
  
  But... the pages are NOT updating. He said even in the 'update Pages dialog box". It is said that no. Pages have been updated?

  UPDATE:

  I went to the link you as his explanation on number 4 was a little more in depth, and as such, it rang some alarm bells.

  He read... Make sure that you make changes to an editable region in the template. Changes to the editable regions in a .dwt files will not be set to child pages. Only changes to the locked regions will be spread.

  I didn't KNOW that changes to editable regions in a .dwt files will not be set to child pages.

  So I tried a quick experiment. I removed the editable and rewritten the part of the model that I wanted in a NON editable area... and it worked.

  A big thank you to you as your aid paid OFF... and I spent all day on this...

  We have a jar of page templates (2 models) and a company logo (png file) that is added to all of our ADF applications ViewController project.  Models include an active image that references the logo. I've updated the JAR file to include a third model of the page and update the company logo image file.

  Changes work properly when you add the POT to a new application:

  Create a new application.

  Add the JAR of update for ViewController project.

  Create the view in the workflow (all three models are available: selected new model)

  Run the built-in page Weblogic Server.

  Page appears in the browser and the new logo is displayed.

  When you try to add changes to an existing application, the new model is available, but the logo is not updated:

  Open an existing application.

  Updating of the library of the ADF in the ViewController project

  Creates a new view in the workflow (all three models are available: selected new model)

  Run the built-in page Weblogic Server.

  Page appears in the browser and the old logo is displayed.

  I need to know how to get the new logo appears on the pages of an existing application.

• Responsive web page template css does not update

  I try to use the new function reactive web page for Business Catalyst but not with not a lot of success:

  1. I created 3 css files: one for each system_visitorDeviceClass (desktop, Tablet, phone)

  2. I chose to enable mobile support

  3 added HTML to a page for each class of device that includes a link to the appropriate css file

  4 make a change to one of the CSS from the file manager > css > desktop.css, for example and save

  5. return to page template for office content, click Update, then get an overview. Change of css is not here.

  Google the best way to do things and you will get just piles of articles on mobile responsiveness.

  I bought a model site.  It has a css file, /styles/screen.css

  It also has a template page 'home' with the link to the style sheet within the < head > section:

  I am tempted to change screen.css, by editing the file in the 'Develop' administration Console and pressing the 'Save' button on the file when changes are made.

  I think that you too complicate the thinking problem that BC is a non-standard way of processing applications to a css file. This looks more like a cache or perhaps a code problem. However, I would be happy to take a look at your code and see if I can remember where is the problem. Try Skype me and screen-sharing and I'll see what I can do. • Model change DreamWeaver does not update of child Web pages?

  Sorry for my question from newbie here.

  I loaded a HTML Web page and try it in a DreamWeaver template file.

  I then created Web pages from the template file ((fichier-nouveau-Page à partir dele de modèle-Site-modèle) and made sure the checkbox "Update Page when changes were made to the model" was selected/checked.)

  Then, I created several children Web pages and saved as .html files.

  I decided to change the system of navigation - part of the region of uneditiabel in the model - bar by opening the template file and edit-ing this file and then saving them in the same DreamWeaver template file.

  However, Web pages were not updated to reflect changes to the navigation bar in the French model?!

  Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong?

  

  I think it's something I'm doing wrong with DreamWeaver...

  OK - I thought about it!

  When I edited the .dwt model - I used 'SAVE AS' to save the file - it's FAKE!

  I should have used just on 'SAVE', and DreamWeaver then asks if I want to update the files created with the template.

  Further Questions:

  -Whence the DreamWeaver store information about which pages were created with what model?

  I have a problem similar to several other posters. I have a template that is attached to a dozen pages. When I make a change to the model and then save it, no dialogue comes in asking if I want to update the dependent pages, and changes are not reflected in the page, it saves only the document.
  
  If I open one of the dependent pages and make edit > templates > apply a page template, the changes are displayed.
  
  I have other sites on this computer, where the model function works correctly, is not a bug or a problem with my Dreamweaver, just this particular model or the site. I use Dreamweaver 8.0.2 on a Mac Book Pro (Intel more recent one).

  As I look at the code, it seems that it is logical, I'm just at a loss for what to do.
  
  Here's what I did, everything to nothing does not:
  Re-create the site cache
  Manually deleted the cache of the site files and then recreated them
  Made a few new test pages using the new model dialog page
  
  I am aware of the common model traps and have not does it these things.
  1 rename the Templates folder
  2 move the folder models to another level of folder in another site
  only the root level
  3. move a template outside of the Templates folder.
  4 changes to an editable model (which will not
  spread)
  5. assume this model changes can be downloaded to the server without also

  6 corrupt the site cache to make the link between the model and the child page
  is broken

  Export and import of the definition of the site did not help.
