  I've recently upgraded to Vista after using XP home to a good number of years, and one of the things I had on my XP system was a toolbar on the side of my screen, as shown in this photo of the Office:

  I wish to get the same configuration of toolbar on my Vista machine and would therefore make the same way I did on XP. I made a new folder, the top hand named "sidebar1_games" and placed a few shortcuts in it. I then click with the right button on my taskbar, entered in the submenu of the toolbar and click on "new toolbar." After selecting the folder, this seemed to work fine except for a fundimental issue:

  The new toolbar appears to stick in my taskbar. Lock Taskbar is definitely off and I am able to slide all over the taskbar, but I can't click and drag it into a separate area for itself.

  This feature is handy has simply been removed, or is it something escapes me.

  Things have changed in Vista. Cannot move the toolbars in the taskbar.

  You can still get the same result in Vista. Go to your user account folder and create a new folder with the name you want to use for the toolbar. Then, create a shortcut to the new toolbar and place it on the desktop. Drag the shortcut on the toolbar on the side of the screen where you placed and it lay. The toolbar will fix itself on the side of the screen.

  When I place the mouse on the icon of the program in the taskbar Windows Explorer the small preview window/s is displayed but will not maximize in a large window.  When I click on it or right click "optimize" on the spotted, that nothing is happening.

  Thanks for the help, however, I've sorted it now, I'm actually using Mozilla Firefox as my browser, had thought not that check! If have managed to reinstall the bar menu missing etc.

  Doing a lot of brushing up on an image using Lightroom is known to have this problem. The first thing to try is to turn off the graphics acceleration (go to Preferences/Performance tab and then uncheck the box here). IF this does not help, then you can consider doing your brush in Photoshop Elements or Photoshop, instead of brushing in Lightroom.
