  I am running Vista Home Premium and Media player 11.0.6002.18111.  I have a similar problem to others that I see here.  I.e. when I plug a Sandisk (memory stick) Media Player sync tent (I think) even if all synchronization options are disabled.  The result is a pointer jumpy Windows and a jumpy circle occupied Vista which is very distracting.

  I found out about it at a forum or another, I tried about 10 different forums.

  Follow this step to turn off the service.

  1. click Start and type services.msc in the start search box and press on enter.

  2. scroll through the list and select the service.

  3. right click on the service and choose the Propertiesoption.

  4. you can change the Startup type to disable or the status of the service to stop.

  I was forced to upgrade to the new 3.6.12 version.
