  I do not understand your question.  Asked how the space has been used on your C: drive and you answered 60 GB.  Now you say your PARTITION C: is 60 GB with only 20 GB used?  I really don't understand what you're so confused.  It's simple arithmetic grade 3rd.  What is space you USED on the C: drive, that multiply by 0.7 to obtain the amount of space will be used on your backup disk after compression.  Divide this number by 4.7 and round.  That's how many DVDs you'll need if you insist on the use of DVDs for backup.  Then

  (1) If you are using 60 GB, the answer is (60 x.7) / 4.7 = 8.936.  I rounded up to 9 and added 1 just to be sure.

  (2) If you use only 20 GB, the answer is (20 x.7) / 4.7 = 2.97 rounded up to 3.  Add 1 and get 4.

  If you use only 20 GB, I am very surprised, because almost any important installation of Windows 7 is going to take more than 20 GB.

  All of this assumes that you do NOT use the Windows backup and restore program, but one that I recommended.  When I used the windows one, the results were several times the space that I used on my C: partition.

  Not sure why you're confusing this issue? In your other thread, you applied a backup who had two days and there is no evidence that you apply to this log file to archive that had the table create in it. So if you have not restored this log file to archive who had your create table command, it will not be recovered. The most important for you to understand, it's that you have to have the newspaper the point for which you want to retrieve other archiving your recovery will not be able to move forward.

  I have a SanDisk 8 GB flash drive that was working fine a few days but my computer asks me to format it before use. I am running Vista.
  Here is a list of the things I've tried and that did not work:
  1. try a different usb port
  2. try another computer.
  3. try another OS. I tried Win7, and I'll try xp tomorrow. I read that xp may be able to read but I doubt it.
  4 tried to rename the drive
  5 tried the chkdsk command.
  6. I tried Easeus partition. Another thread mentioned using the software to move the data to another drive before commissioning in shape, but he tells me that I have unallocated space research.

  More info. In disk management, it is said that he is in good health but in RAW format. and he did nothing about it. The only thing I have not tried it reads with LINUX. I won't be able to get my hands on a LINUX for a few weeks and I would like to have information on the flash player now.

  If this happens on multiple machines, I think we can fairly say that the problem is the SanDisk card.

  So, what do we do?

  There are several third-party data recovery programs that can scan the drive and try to get the data out of it.  You can search these using http://www.bing.com.

  There may be other solutions that involve changing the MBR or ACB at the sector level, but that is beyond the scope of this forum - you can try the TechNet forums for that:

  There is no Windows Vista downloads available from Microsoft.

  Contact the manufacturer of your laptop and ask them to send a set of recovery disks.

  They should do this for a small fee.

  Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.

  If this happens, you may need to try this instead:

  LC Designer is part of the LiveCycle. The components you need to will now depend on your environment, your workflow, and how you want to process the data.

  If you want to create forms and use the player to interact with the form, then the minimum specification would be:

  • LC Designer
  • Adobe Reader

  However there would be restrictions in the functionality (for example you can not save the form in the drive because it would not be active player).

  If you want active player the form in Acrobat Standard, Acrobat Pro v8 or v9, so you will need Acrobat as well. This will unlock some of the features.

  If you want users to have full access to all features (as if the form is opened in Acrobat) with the reader, then you must also LC Reader Extensions ES2. You would use this to activate the form of the player before you deploy.
