Do you need a JAVA virtual machine for fscommand() to work?
Page 492 of the book "Guide using Flash" said: "If you use JavaScript and Flash on the same page, Java must be running for the fscommand() function works." "They really mean Java (i.e. a JVM installed and running on the computer) or do they mean that JavaScript must be enabled in the browser"?sparky1962 wrote:

No, I think that must be a typo and they mean "javascript should operate.
I use fscommand() calling javascript anyway, as it does not
in some browsers. getURL ("javascript:functionCall('someargument')"); is
much more reliable. Or, if you are targeting 60.65.0 flash drive or
above, there are the gateway Flash/Javascript (see link below) and
Finally, if you are targeting a flash 8 player there is the
Class ExternalInterface built in flash.

How to change the path of the JAVA virtual machine for the domain?
Hello!
When I create a domain to use Sun JDK instead of BEA JRockit, it always uses the JRockit when I start the administration server.
I found that the problem is that the setDomainEnv.cmd after setting the JAVA_HOME to Sun JDK, he calls the % WL_HOME%\common\bin\commEnv.cmd.
The bumpers of commEnv.cmd the JAVA_HOME with BEA JRockit.
What should I do to use Sun JDK?
I don't want to manually edit the cmd file.
All entries would be appreciated.

Does anyone know of a document showing how to increase the number of the Java virtual machine for the oacore can be found in paragraph 12.1 EBS? I found a few google search dealer change the file opmn.xml but I would like to see a retailer who need references to changed.
Also it is often said that 1 jvm should be configured for each processor and best practices should be a 1 FMV must be configured for cpu 2. The effect of this rule processor type is valid for a risc processor and a processor intel.

While the installation of Microsoft DirectX 9.0 c on my Windows XP Home Edition (Version 2002) operating system (not sure if the 2002 version in it's original state included SP1), EULA (EULA) provided the contract included a paragraph stating that "ONLY in regards to THE VIRTUAL MACHINE MICROSOFT FOR JAVA, YOU ARE ONLY ALLOWED to INSTALL THIS OS COMPONENT ON A MACHINE THAT CONTAINS A ALREADY the VERSION OF THE MICROSOFT JAVA VIRTUAL MACHINE". Assuming that the MSJVM was included with Windows XP Home Edition (Version 2002), I advanced and accepted the EULA. I then downloaded and installed Windows XP SP2 and SP3, but wasn't sure whether SP2 and SP3 removed the MSJVM in any point. However, research on the question, I discovered the site "FAQ of Transition MSJVM" (updated May 7, 2004), who answered the question: ' if I install Windows XP SP1a or later, it will remove my current MSJVM? " with "No, the operating system upgrade will not remove a MSJVM existing on the computer" (http://www.microsoft.com/about/legal/en/us/interoperability/java/faq.aspx). However, I can't find any instance of it on my computer.
So my questions are:
- Windows XP Home (Version 2002) Edition include SP1?
- The MSJVM is installed on this version?
- SP2 or SP3 removes the MSJVM in any point to?
Hi Chris,
Your Windows XP question is more complex than what is generally answered in the Microsoft Answers forums. It is better suited for the IT Pro TechNet public. Please post your question in the forum TechNet for assistance:

Migrate the virtual machine for Exchange 2010 from one host to another
Dear members,
Please let know us if the migration of a virtual machine for Exchange 2010 is supported to an Esxi host to another, the Esxi version is 5.0.
There are unique Exchange environment with the role of hub, CAS and mailbox on the same virtual server. We have a maintenance window and we think moving exchange virtual machine from one host to another, but before that I need to be sure if it's supported my MS and do not want to have problems after, because I have also gotten to know here in the forums this snapshot for Exchange 2010 is not supported by Ms.
Please notify.
Kind regards
I'm not aware of any limitations with VMS Exchange migration. Anyway, you can consider running the migration during the low workload.

Definition of reserves on the running JAVA Virtual machines
I recently came across an overview of VMware performance that had a page essentially recommending reservations memory setting for the running Java virtual machines (see table). We have Java environments and did not have performance problems or complaints so, I doubt that I would implement any changes. However, I am curious to know if it's even a better practical recommendation, I could not put the date on the document so I wanted to see if someone had updated or current information for vSphere 4.X, 5.X environments.
In General, we only use reservations memory to avoid the overhead administrative and operational increased. If we have never not a necessity, I prefer to use reservations to pool resources rather than granular level VM reservations.
In my opinion, if you use the reservations are a regularity no exception in your environment, then you can use these rules. That said, if you don't have no problem, I wouldn't change anything. I've also linked a new document below.

People,
This issue has been resolved,
Details of the problem:
RAM 512 MB only, use JVM parameters
"" Arguments of memory in JAVA: -Xms512m-Xmx512m ".
If WL struck to use more memory for the start and the stop MedRecSvr2, 3 (managed server)
Please read the following steps to correct,
1. open Oracle VM Virtual box
2. go to settings and select the system option (make sure that all OS turns off).
3. go in card mother in this window select Base memory previously is changed to 1920 MB (1.875 GB) 512 MB.
4. click on Ok.
Then the allocated RAM will be more, for Weblogic doesn't get knocked because of insufficient RAM memory.
Respect,
Bouchra Arun

is it a good idea to run the JAVA virtual machine inside the hypervisor?
If I want to write a global user inside the hypervisor platform and you want to reuse some java lib, it's a good idea to install and run the JAVA virtual machine as part of global programs of the user inside the hypervisor? Thank you.
Maybe you listen to the wrong people?
The ESXi hypervisor is pretty well stripped of the linux console you are talking about, there is a thin busybox linux like environment, but you are strongly advised not to run anything in there.
Performer of applications within this console may have all kinds of side effects such as severely affect the performance of your computer virtual guests.
Why the hell would you want to run the JAVA virtual machine inside the hypervisor? What is the reason why you want to do this? If it's because you get a better return, then you're wrong, the console becomes just a little bit of resources available on your host computer.
If this is to go directly to the features that the hypervisor provides then the VMA we're talking is the answer.
So getting back to your question initial for EACH use case that I can think it's a very bad idea.

How to configure the virtual machine for the changes to forget
Hi, I want to ask if it is possible together in the virtual machine for the changes to forget. For example - user run VM... make some changes in the configuration. Then come a new user has it want to have clear (without changes in the configuration) virtual machine. Is possible together closed the machine after changes lost?
Sorry for my English.
Thanks for help.
Hi Polo939
First, you will need to take a snapshot of the virtual machine.
Select your virtual machine
Click on "take a snapshot" on the right-hand side of the web interface
Then you must configure the virtual machine to go back to the snapshot when it is turned off.
Click on "configure the VM.
Click the "snapshot".
Select "back to overview" under when you feed off option

CF 9.0.1 Solr does not have the Java virtual machine path
As part of the security of some of our machines for use of DoD, need to maintain the versions of Java. To do this, we install the latest JDK and use the server settings > Java and JVM > Machine way Java virtual to then tell CF to use it. We have done this since CF4 without any problems and when we moved to CF6 + we continued the process, but also after having what we then delete the folder of jre in runtime folder leave the CF is. Well I have just the program installation and installed my first CF9 + Win 2008 R2 server and after doing this the Solr service does not start. This had me so dig in its folder structure and it has its own folder of the jre in its folder structure as well. But using Sysinternals Process Monitor, I can see the service Solr uses NOT the folder of the jre from the inside it of own structure but is actually going up and 'try' to use the runtime\jre folder that I have deleted so it causes the service to fail. I can actually delete the solr\jre folder as long as the runtime\jre folder exist.
There are so many problems with this.
- SOLR has yet another installation of Java within itself
- SOLR does not use its own Java, even if there is a copy it
- SOLR does not respect the setting Java VM path together
Adobe has responded to my bug with the location of the solr configuration variable to point to the external JAVA virtual machine.
ColdFusion9\solr\solr.lax
Lax.nl.currentvm = JVM_PATH
It seems to work properly until now.

Multiple nodes to cache in a single JAVA virtual machine
I happened to notice that we have two nodes of unique consistency in several of our cluster weblogic 10.3 Java virtual machines. We have 6 WLS JVMs and 4 of them have 2 nodes of coherence. JMX shows one of the two nodes with all / most of the work and the second node did little, if anything.
I noticed this shortly after we deployed a new build last night, and I suddenly started seeing errors in serialization for a single particular cache. My conclusion is that these nodes second are remnants of the previous generation and are somehow interfere. We hot - deploy our updates have not experienced problems or side effects, but deploy hot sounds is my prime suspect.
Is there any reason why weblogic hot - deploy should not be used? Or is there any configuration changes that are necessary for the coherence of work when hot-deployed?
We lack consistency 3.5.2 and weblogic 10.3.3.Hello
Some time ago I made the consistency on WebLogic, but your problem that may result in not closing properly consistency in the old application when hot you deploy a new version of the code. If I remember correctly, we had to put an earphone in our Web application called Cachefactory.shutdown (), when the application has been cancelled. I don't remember all the details of the place where the listener is gone, but I'm sure someone in your dev team will know.
