Access of the remote drive doesn't seem to be compatible with the adobe Installer and known issues with the setup of the elements is not helping either.   Try connecting your friend on the App Store under Apple ID by using the Activity Monitor > network to monitor the download.

  Or better yet your computer to friends (instead of your own) connected to your network.

  Go to your license history and you will see the license key. By clicking above opens a dialog where you can buy an extended license, simply select scope from the menu drop down.
