  I have a Tecra M2, of which most of the time is used in a docking station. However if I'm on the docking station for laptop computer does not shut down (it sticks to the "Windows is shutting down" screen... unless I have physically remove the laptop from the docking station, and then he finished the process to close.)

  Sorry but I do not share your view on Power saver utility. Do you really believe that Toshiba create tool like that for nothing? Just FYI: public service power saver is not available with Vista operating system and on this forum, you will find topics where people really miss this fun and useful utility.

To be honest, something like that can be very dangerous because the majority of users want to have silent notebooks and overheating problems are totally underestimated.

  When the computer is off and its still connected to the docking station, the fan in the computer to run very fast starting. The fan turns on for a while.   Its been a while that we have solved this problem, but I forgot to post the solution.

  We sent the laptops in for repair. They changed the motherboard and fans. This solves the problem.

  With Docking Station, you can connect all the cables for printer, keyboard and mouse, adapter directly to the charging station.
