Documents lost in my Netbook

I lost all my documents (pictures, videos, documents word, etc...) on my netbook by pressing a few keys without realizing it. I don't know how to bring them back and they are not either in the trash? I tried to orginise my files and get rid of some files has some information in the files. Now, I've lost what is inside my files and folders. Please, help me to bring back them.

See reply Palcouk, but if you can't find them, read below:

"Deleting" a file does not actually delete it marks just the space
also available to be used. There are third-party programs that can
sometimes recover deleted files. The problem is that the space used by
the file is likely to be replaced very quickly, and it makes
the unrecoverable file.

So your chances of successfully recover this file are decent if you
Try it again immediately after the deletion of it and go quickly
downhill from there. If you have used the computer since then (for
example to write this question and read this answer), your chances may
be very poor now.

But if the file is large enough, it's still worth a try. Stop
using the computer in question immediately, if you have not done
already. Download an undelete program (here, it's a good thing):

which may overwrite the files you want to restore) and bring it to

If that fails, your only recourse is to bring or send the disc
a company of professional file recovery. This kind of service is very
expensive and may or may not work in your case.

If by "computer of new beginning" you mean that you have started your recovery or disk restore factory set and reinstalled Windows, then the ability to recover your files is practically zero.  You can try a utility like Recuva (http://www.piriform.com/recuva) but since you have rewritten the entire hard drive, it is highly unlikely that anything will be recoverable.

  • Can someone help me to retrieve documents "lost"?

I made such a huge mistake yesterday, and my husband spent 9 hours trying to recover... without result...

We had a virus suddenly create problems with our computer, so I thought I would try to get it rid of me because I couldn't even in anti virus (we have 2) as he was blocking them. It did not work so I used PC DOCTOR 5. I made a recovery from the pc. I read what appeared on the screen, then click Next, but never he said that he would not back up our documents/office... My husband lost 10 years ' worth of document of his military career. We have a backup of drive, but we have foolishly only pictures stored on it (1 Terra byte). It is blame themselves to save is not the other stuff, but it's my fault and I would appreciate any suggestion you may have desperrately.

I don't know if that makes a difference, but we have XP media center edition 2005.

    There could be a way.

The pc came with Windows XP right?

Now, when you did the recovery did you use F10 at startup or have you used disks?

And when you did the F10 option did you continue next or have you click Options and then click destructive recovery?

If you did the destructive recovery, which means they would be lost. However there may be hope.

Just turn on pc, connection and go to start, desktop, C: drive, Documents and settings, and it's not very important. Inside Documents and records, you can have more than 1 of 2 files of name like administrator, comments, etc. such as Administratorxx, Adminxx, and those can be old account with documents inside. Then simply double click each folder 1 in time and go to My Documents, my pictures, desktop and I hope you will see your documents here.

Just copy this folder My Documents and bring to your current dekstop and paste. Do not CUT. Just use COPY / PASTE.

    Try this before anything else.

Also very important. NEVER install or have more than 1 Antivirus installed on a computer because it is pointles, they will conflict with each other, make the slower pc and it is simply wrong to have.

    Have just 1 Antivirus.

Now for Antispyware you can use several but I personally recommend 1 just so that you do not as much in the background or during startup and the free antispyware one I recommend is the "superantispyware.com» SuperAntiSpyware

Just that and your antivirus running and that's all anyone needs.

If you need an antivirus or don't want to pay to go to 'free.grisoft.com"(without the quotes) and download it.

Don't forget to uninstall your current antivirus (usually hp computers come with norton) because we want to avoid having 2 of them on a pc.

    I hope this helps.

I have a document that is sized for background printing lost. I also want to make prints PDF of this document, but if I simply print, then everything will be idle a bit. Is there a non-destructive way to "reframe" the document to the paper size?

To register a PDF copy and uncheck the box in the section marks and bleeds, marks printer, uncheck the box use Document bleed.

  • Retrieve the document lost pages

Someone at - it's not a good way to retrieve a Pages document. I was working on a file and everything froze. After trying a lot of things that I finally had to force out Pages. When I opened it the application that the most recent save the file was yesterday. Any changes you make have since disappeared. Any suggestions on how to recover the most recent version?

If you had Time Machine running, it should contain a newer version. He was mentioned (but not confirmed) that the incremental backups are performed more frequently than once a minute if you change the file.

If you don't have TM running, have no similar running backup system and haven't saved the document manually since yesterday, the only place where that current changes existed was in volatile memory and disappeared when you exit Pages.

Run a backup application, or press command-S every time you put into your work, and especially when you get out of your Chair and let the keyboard.

    Kind regards

    Hello

Programs need to be reinstalled from the original (CD, DVD or downloads) media

You can try the free version of this program for recover these files; no warranty if.

    http://www.Piriform.com/Recuva/download

You can find all, some or none.

"Recovery from damaged or formatted disks

Even if you have formatted a disk so that it looks blank, Recuva can still find your files on it.  More...»

    Also read this information:

"How to restore your personal files after performing an installation of Windows Vista or Windows 7"

If that does not help not, you should try data recovery specialists, who are very expensive.

I got my A210-17I Vista race since the latter part of last year and last month, he has been randomly withdrawal while I worked on it.
The CPU does not seem to be running too high, but the fan seems to work more often.
I have not installed any new software since on April, so I don't think it's that.

What happened 3 or 4 times in the last month and I'm really worried all my documents lost if the computer does not restart after one of these 'episodes '.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. What should I do and what is the cause?

    Thank you :-)

    Hello

    > The CPU does not seem to be running too high, but the fan seems to work more often.
The description looks like a common problem of overheating.
The laptop automatically stops because the temperature has reached the critical level and overheating protection stops the laptop to prevent material damage!

The internal temperature rises due to a bad cooling. In most cases, cooling modules are blocked and dust and debris to prevent fans turn with a maximum return.

You can try to clean the fan using a jet of compressed air.
These sprays are useful and you can buy it from most computer resellers.

  • Problem with sharpness in InDesign

    Hi all

First turn off all the intruducion me, abit Im Roel Swanenberg, I sometimes abit of design for my dad. Consider making records, to provide photos, etc.

For a week I use Adobe InDesign to create folders, before I used Photoshop to create folders, yes it's true.

When I was with Photoshop, I just made a new document, entered in the dimensions of a landscape A4 paper document and on the road.

When I finished my drawing, I exported to PDF and the PDF, we printed a printer of high quality records, and they were always perfect, at least in the sharpness of the images and the text.

A week ago, someone told me that I should make the files in InDesign, so I started to work around with InDesign, I'm now an extra week and really use InDesign to make records.

So I decided to make the new folder for my father's company in InDesign. I made a new document, A4 Horizontal 2 pages. First I have enterd the standard model that I made in Photoshop and saved in InDesign.

The first thing I saw was that the entire document lost a lot of AA. I thought that maybe his design or what so ever. So I'm on board. I've added some professional photos from the .tiff extension, added text, and voila, a new folder is born. At least that's what I thought. So, I exported the InDesign document to PDF. When I open the PDF of the entire document was a blur. Although I thought lets just try to print and compare the document printed with exsiting records I made in Photoshop.

Then I printed them and compared to them, I was like I can't even read the text on the folder which I made in InDesign, while the folder that I did in Photoshop is really good to read.

Also photos, they are not sharp at all. If im now wondering, why my files are done in Photoshop 100% strong and my files in InDesign blurry as hell.

Does anyone have an idea what I am doing wrong?

I hope that someone knows an answer to my problem.

EDIT: BTW, I'm using a Macbook Pro Mac os X 10.7.2

    Greetings,

    Roel Swanenberg

What you have not provided is what parameters allows you to export InDesign PDF Forms. If you used the (interactive) PDF export option with the default settings, your images are sous-échantillonnées to 72 dpi. If you used the option to export PDF (print) either with the PDF / X-4: 2008 or high quality print joboptions which her downsample images to 300 dpi only if they exceed the 450 dpi, it is very unlikley you'll see any degradation.

Tell us more about exactly how you create PDFS, and we can better help you.
