  Ok. To open a document in your own format in silent mode, you register your file using AIFileFormatSuite::AddFileFormat format.   If you want a very simple way to protect your data, just reverse all or part of the bits in each byte of the file.  It's super simple and turns a nice ASCII text file noise when read from a text file.
