  No Windows Update went through for my laptop - a Dell Inspiron - since June.

  He uses Windows 7, Intel Celeron CPU, 64-bit operating system.

  Everything seems to have slowed dramatically.  Running a virus checker/CCleaner/malware cleaner etc all take forever.  As does the search for updates.   (It checks that I type and done so for the past half an hour.)

  I did, at this stage - yesterday - to reach a point where I was told that I had 1 updated 6 optional updates and important.  Which does not seem much since June.  When I tried to download, nothing happened.

  I have trouble shooted and run virus/malware ladies etc - but nothing came.

  I'm not very technologically minded, but if there is a simple solution, I would be very grateful.

  I bought myself a x 201 tablet a few months back, because I thought it would be great for taking notes during my studies. And I was right

  But after I upgraded my windows 7 to windows 8 when it was released last Friday, my scanner will not work correctly. It seems that the stylus is not really recognised as a pen. There is no pressure at all sensitivity, and clear with the back of it does not work either. It seems the wacom drivers aren't there.

  I tried to download various drivers for it and set up of the digitizer, but nothing seems to do the trick.

  Hope someone can help me, because I really need to be able to take digital notes soon.

  If you have been playing around with the settings, you'd be wise to resinstall.  All that are "machine accounts" which are automatically defined by the system to the evolution of random passwords.  If you have accounts of changes of ntauthority to other accounts, you perhaps weakened the security level of the operating system.

  No it's not a portal, that even Microsoft doesn't know what are these passwords.

  If you receive Windows Update error 6d9e while installing SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 3 by using Windows Update, it means that the installation folders and directories are compressed or encrypted.

  To fix this problem, make sure the folder locations where you are installing the service pack to aren't compressed or encrypted, or specify a different folder and then run Windows Update again.

  Therefore, remove the compression of the DATA directory and run together to the top again.

  Remove compression from the C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server folder and see if you are able to install the updates without any problem.
