Does not have Lenovo Slim USB Portable DVD burner DVD or programs

Hi everyone, yesterday I bought a new Lenovo Y50, but when I tried to launch a video game he acted as if there were no disc inside the dvd recorder.

The strange thing is that it turns CDs without problem, but no dvd or programs.

I just bought, so there is no possibility that my pc is affected by viruses or other issues don't related.

Can someone help me?

Is this just a problem about me being not not good for the pc, should I make a process specific or is - a problem the burner dvd itself?

Thank you.

Thank you for your answer, but I solved this problem.

I went back to the seller, we tested it and the result is that it is broken.

They gave me a new, and now it works correctly.

Thank you once again.

My new Z930-118, with windows 7 64 bit home, does not recognize the external CD/DVD drive when I plug it into the USB port.

The CD/DVD device does not even appear at all in Device Manager.

    Hello
I m not very well how to help you.

I found some information about this WEIRD disc and it seems that he didn't need an external power supply. Its USB bus powered so I guess around 500mA power since it is the default value provided by a USB 2.0 port.

I don t think that there is a problem of missing software. It is a plug n play device so you need to connect it to the USB port and the system should automatically recognise.

From my point of view of the few you try to connect the external USB ODD two ports to aid a * Y * Cableusb.
I think the reader needs more power provided by a single USB port.

  • Is there a download from Microsoft which will create a bootable usb media that does not have the drivers?

Original title: A bootable Windows 7 media

I work on a Lenovo 2-in-1 with Windows 7 (for games) and 10 (for a normal use) Windows to dual-boot. I created a USB stick with Windows 7 Pro (64 bit) of a legitimate Windows 7 Pro disc. The computer starts on the usb device and plays normally, however, one of the steps asks a driver for cd/dvd and this 2-in-1 (Lenovo Flex 3) doesn't have a built-in CD/DVD. All other drivers are located in a folder system. My question is, given my key Windows 7 can I create a new bootable media that does not demand drivers? Is there a download from Microsoft which will create a bootable usb media that does not have the drivers? I know that I can reinstall the drivers manually after the installation.

  • HP Pavilion P2-1140 does not have a way to connect to a Firewire port and USB transfer is not supported by Windows 7 to connect the Sony HC20 Handycam.

    Original title: Sony Hanycam HC20

I just bought a HP Pavilion P2 - 1140 W7 64 bit and may not know how to download video from my Sony Handycam HC-20 who

using a Firewire connection. P2-1140 does not have a way to connect to a Firewire port and USB transfer is not supported by Windows 7.

I looked in the spec of my card mother HP and there is no additional slots to add adapters, no PCI, PCI-e or anything that looks like

as if you can add anything. I know that the Firewire to USB converters cable do NOT work, any suggestions please

There are USB firewire converters, but I think it will be a situation of hit or miss--they are unable to work or perform very well.

The only option I can think of that would work would be to use AV out on the camera and a USB capture card that records on the computer.
You can also consider going back to the computer and get a different model that is built in firewire support or at least an extension connector in order to get an expansion card.

  • BIOS update failed: the process does not have this system. The process of the utility is not complete.

I have a Thinkpad T450s and I'm trying to update the BIOS version 1.19 to 1.20. I've created a live usb with the 'el tortio' - image extracted using linux "dd". Once I boot on the USB under Legacy-BIOS and select upgrade, it proceeds witht the error message "the process does not have this system. The process has been cancelled. "I have disabled the protection against theft, AMT (I think this is the option) and I'm sure that I use the correct .iso file from the downloads section. I don't have a Windows operating system installed, but I'm able to start in various linux distributions using Legacy and UEFI methods.

    Here is my BIOS information.

What could you suggest to get the update disc to recognize my system?

I think I've fixed the problem, I formatted FAT16 USB drive and not in FAT32 and also when you use the geteltorito command, it is preferable to use the-o option rather than a redirection ">"syntax. " An article said that it is best to drop in a DOS command line using the USB boot, then run dosflash.exe from there, however, I could not edit the .bat file, but it is an option however.

I hope this helps someone stuck in a similar situation.

  • Bootcamp does not recognize the Windows 7 installation DVD

    Hi guys,.

I've never had a problem installing Windows 7 via bootcamp on my Mac, but it seems an impossible feat, right now! :))

I have a Windows 7 bootable *.iso, but since I'm on 2010 Macbook Pro, I have to burn it to a DVD and install from there (I can't find the disk of valuable facilities).

It is, every time that I burn it, it does not get recognized as a bootable DVD with bootcamp and not appear as a boot disk in the selection screen, you need to keep alt right after the startup chime.

I tried at different speeds (2 x, 4 x, 8 x). I tried to convert the image using disk utility and selection of DVD/CD master and burning at different speeds.

I'm in two DVD and I don't know what to do :) I've got El Capitan installed (so less disk utility options).

    Please help! :))

Help!  I have a new Pavilion of HP with Windows 7 Professional 64-bit Edition.  I'm trying to install a HP Officejet 4500 printer via a wireless router.  The computer detects the printer, but then gives me the error under Troubleshooting in devices and printers that the WSD print device does not pilot and therefore will not be installed.  There are other the home computers running Windows 7 that are able to connect and print.  Unfortunately, my son lost the printer installation cd so I downloaded the drivers on the internet and still get the above message. I tried even to connect the printer directly to the laptop and the laptop does not show even a usb connection.  I have completely restarted (with assistance from HP Support) the new operating system for laptop to factory settings and still am exp eriencing the same problems.

Can I go to a friends house and the laptop will detect and install this printer with absolutely no problem... What should I do?

    Hello leo.choo,

These are the drivers that are available for the HP OfficeJet 4500 printer.

I see that there are two models of printers. I don't know which version you have printer HP Officejet 4500 G510g all-in-one or the 4500 G510n all-in-one HP Officejet printer. There are separate drivers for every model.

I suggest you follow the link below, enter your model number to download the drivers for Officejet 4500 Wireless printer:

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?OS=4062&LC=en&cc=us&DLC=en&sw_lang=&product=3986399

Or alternatively, you can download the drivers for the Windows 7 computer that works on another computer and use a thumb driver to copy on their computer and install it.
