Don't forget history or use custom settings

Could you give me your opinion please, which is better "remember history or use custom settings. I mean, I know it's for me to decide, but we have one advantage over the other? Home

There is really no difference between the two choices.

"Use the custom settings for history" allows access to the settings of history and current cookie inspection and editing. By selecting "Use the custom settings for history" does not alter the historical settings and cookies. Firefox will keep showing "Use the custom settings for history" as an indication that at least one story and cookie settings is not the default to make you aware that the changes have been made. If all the history settings are default and custom settings are hidden and you see "Firefox will be: remember History.

  • "Never remember history" means that private browsing is active and "Always use private browsing mode" Gets a check mark.

"Use the custom settings for history" stays selected only as long as one of the parameters of Cookie or history isn't the default to make you aware that the default setting changes have been made.

  • How to use custom css I can see the result in the preview windows

    help ~ ~ ~

I want to create my animation by visualization.

but I don't know how to use custom css

and show its effect in the preview windows

    only the script?

    Hi Chen,

If you want objects of style outside the properties available in the Animate application, you can do this by using the following syntax:

    .CSS ({$("myObject") sym.

    'background-color': 'red ',.

    "width": "200px".

    });

However, this will only preview in the browser and not on stage as the code is not running at the time of the creation. You would get yourself in a place quite bad if this has happened since the events would trigger when you try to change

If you have a style sheet that you have linked to your project, you can also add a class of objects that reflect the CSS when you preview in the browser.

  • my privacy setting is stuck on do not forget history, won't stay on using the custom settings for history, after I've selected and click ok

When I go to tools, Options, privacy and "Use the custom settings for history" of the value and then click on OK it won't save. It remains on "Remember history", even if she never will save "remember history" as I tested it. It seems if be produced after these recent last Firefox update. Anyone know why I can not choose "Use the custom settings for history", as is the parameter I want to use?

Why aren't satisfied with the history settings by default that you currently have?

Any changes (for example, to disable the cookies third party or form not given memory or keep cookies until you close Firefox and make an exception for the cookies you want to keep) that you will cause "use... custom parameters. "to be selected if you really want to see.

  • How options are related: "confidentiality > don't remember history ', ' privacy > settings customized user > permanent private browsing ' and ' security > remember passwords?

It is said in support of the pages that the option ' Privacy > don't remember history ' is equivalent to private browsing.
He said also that after you activate private browsing does not store history or passwords.

So how are related options: "confidentiality > don't remember history ', ' confidentiality > settings customized user > permanent private browsing ' and ' security > remember passwords?

    (1) if I activate "Privacy > don't remember history" fact it also means that the passwords are not stored?

    (2) activate instead
"Privacy > settings customized user > permanent private browsing."
This still implies that passwords are not stored?

3 If 1) or (2) are together, what is the role of the apparently independent option "security > remember passwords?

I'm sorry but the logic of the user interface is not really clear for me

    Thanks for your help.

    1. Yes. Setting "Firefox will: don't remember history ' prompts you to restart Firefox, after which 'always use private browsing mode' will be checked. The option "Remember passwords for sites" will be disabled and unavailable (grayed out).

    2. Yes. It's the same thing.

    3. as I said, in this case the option "Remember passwords for sites" would be unavailable (grayed out). The rest of the time, this option allows to disable the registration of passwords not in private browsing mode.

  • How can I clear the browser history when you use the custom settings for history?

When my history option is set to "Use the custom settings for history", the options page has no link to "clear recent history". There was formerly a menu option, but that seems to be gone now with Firefox 29. Is my only option to access the dialog box, clear the history all to change the historical option to history to remember and then change it back? Is there another way to access the option erase history all?

I think you can get the menu bar by pressing the ALT key. If you want to return permanently, click View > toolbars and check menu bar.

  • M300: Don't forget the extended desktop settings

I use my M300 with a monitor and an extended desktop (i.e. different images on both monitors). I also have the external monitor put in place for a higher resolution than the lcd (and on the left of the LCD not allowed).

However, I have to redo the settings everytime I connect. Is there a way to get the graphical utility to remember the configuration (and even to assign to the left button of the keyboard hardware)?

    Hello

As much as I know the laptop don't forget last configuration, and if you use the extend my Windows desktop on this monitor, it may happen that the application window will not be displayed on LCD laptop but on extended monitor you will not be able to see in this case.

I spend every time as you and it takes just 30 seconds and I can live with it. Just a question: how to connect external monitors (directly to the laptop or docking station)?
