Don't open photos from Lightroom.

I have Photoshop Mix v1.1 and Lightroom Mobile v1.1.0 on my iPad with iOS 7.1.2 3.

I did 6 collections in Lightroom 5.6 (CC) (on Windows 7) available in Lightroom Mobile and I can change successfully in LR Mobile on my iPad.

Why does Photoshop Mix report "the image cannot be opened" when I select one of the photos in a collection when I select:

'+'-> 'Lightroom'-> Collection of interest-> Image of interest.

Thank you.

We currently support up to 24 M pixels to the opened file. We hit the limit. Stay tuned.

I had this problem intermittently for years with different versions and different computers, but this time, he won't go away.  I need to use the 64 bit version for large files, but it keeps crashing in many different ways.

    1. I open the program from the desktop.  It shows the spash screen indicates the workspace for a few seconds and then hangs with the message:

    I use the latest version.

My video card drivers are completely up to date.

I use a decent computer with 16 GB of ram.

I open the program as an administrator.

I have reset the prefrences too many times to count by removing the prefrences and holding the key ctrl + alt + shift at startup.

2 - If by some wild stretch of the imagination, I get the prefrences program totally erased first and as an administrator and then the program will plant about 75% of the time when the using the "Save as".

If I try to do something special like create a new folder to put the file in, then the chances of accident are greatly increased.

3 - if I try to open a file from Lightroom, even if the files are open in all directions, Photoshop will crash very often.

What happens here?  I made no change on my computer, have not installed new programs and, as I said earlier, have everything updated.  I even stopped using plugins a long time ago because I didn't want to take the risk that he would cause this fragile program crashing, so all plugins are uninstalled.  Why this keep happening?  When this has happened before everything will work fine for months and then all of a sudden, I can't get the program to open.  When it opens again, for seemingly unknown reason as when he stopped, it works anywhere from a few minutes for even a few months.

This seems to be a problem having a ton of people, but I was not able to find one another response that 'delete settings' or "Run as Administrator" or "update *.»

What can I do to prevent that from happening and fix it when it arrives?

    Update - problem solved.

The problem turned out to be with Avast.  I found other people who have had the same problem with Outlook, and they did to this problem.  Protection of live scripts seems to have caused the crash at startup.  Why it was intermittent to the worst first and got, I don't know, but since temporarily turn off Avast during startup I have not had the problem again.  Now I'll just have to start shopping for more user friendly antivirus software Photoshop.

Thanks for the tips Mylenium, unfortunately (or fortunately actually for me) I had no conflict of 64-bit.

The other action I took was to remove all the programs that have been installed since the problem began.  This has not fixed the problem, but it certainly cannot hurt to keep everything that I do not use the computer even when off.

  • photos from Lightroom will be not automatically open in Photoshop 13

I have an iMac 27 "end 2012, Yosemite, Lightroom 5 and 13 items running. I have Photoshop Elements selected in Lightroom "change in" and in the Lightroom preferences, I have Photoshop selected 13 items.

When I select a photo in Lightroom to open in Photoshop Elements (i.e. in Lightroom, I chose "Edit in"), PSE 13 OPENS but the photo is never there. I looked and looked in PSE 13 for the photo from Lightroom, and I'm not.

Oddly, a copy of the photo appears in Lightroom in grid mode. Is driving me crazy! I can drag a photo into the components icon and it will open in the elements, but then I don't know how to get it back in Lightroom with changes unless I have enregistrer to save on my desktop, then drag in the Lightroom icon. I understand that it is supposed to work in a transparent manner if I do something wrong.

    Hello Marianne,.

I have something even. JPEGs are fine, naves are a few weeks ago 1.5 stop underexposed. It only happens with LR and Photoshop. Not with Nikon View or Capture. It only happenes when I use the d-lighting option active with one of my Nikon several. Is equivalent to your problem or is there something else?

  • Moving photos from Lightroom on an android Tablet?

    Export Photos from Lightroom.

Use your operating system to move them to the tablet.

  • When I export a photo from lightroom, the image is very pixelated.

When I export a photo from lightroom, the image is very pixelated. This Burr occurs regardless of whether I do adjustments in Lightroom.  It seems that place just the photo in it develop modual without doing anything to it taints the image in such a way that when it is exported from the modual develop the export pixelated fate.

There is a radical difference between these two images. Incredibly, export of Lightroom has been shrunk down so it has fewer pixels. This means that if you try to display them on a similar screen size, you will need to expand by zoom. Really just, which increases the size of the pixels, so pixilization. He looks exactly like its original size. I think you should just turn off the Image resizing option (uncheck the Resize to fit) in your export settings to get the quality you are looking for.

I put 11 items PS as my second choice after CC for external photos of Lightroom edition, but it only opens PSE without the selected image. CC works perfectly. Any ideas?

During your installation, make sure you select the application, and not an alias (shortcut). Go to this link which is for PSE14, but the setting is the same.

  • I accidentally deleted my photos from lightroom. On my hard drive, the Lr catalogs, as well as the photos are still there. How to restore pictures?

I don't know how it happened, except my mouse pointer in the left panel while I was trying to place a photo that I had just imported to another folder.

My collections appear to be intact, although I've not really used this feature.

With the DNG files in the 'My pictures' folder (always there). There seems to be several JPG files that I expected (obviously for me, they are JPG generated since the DNG files). How can I recover my photos in Lightroom? It would also be necessary to have the jpg back in Lightroom to avoid conflicts in the Lr catalog?

I'd appreciate simple easy to understand the answers that I am not very technical interest. I got Lightroom since v4 and now CC photography plan, although I don't have a really good understanding of what I don't get much time to use it.

    Any help is greatly appreciated

    The library, go to:

    File > open recent

Choose a catalog named so in the list, otherwise go to the catalog folder (normally found photos in) and double click (Ctrl-click) on the catalogue with the .lrcat extension

If still not appear the pictures, go to a dated backup folder, when it was last working and launch of the .lrcat file.

  • Photoshop CS-6 does not open images from Lightroom 5

I don't have Photoshop CS-6 and Lightroom 5.  Almost all of the images have been created in an environment Windows 7 (64-bit).  I moved to Mac platforms. I moved all the images and the catalog. I changed on Mac platform. I'm now using MAC OS - X (10.9.1).

I am able to see images in Lightroom, I'm able to edit images in Lightroom. I can export the images to JPEG (for example) from Lightroom.  I have a warning to several images in Lightroom = ' metadata were changed - you want to replace the data or import?

First time I tried to open an Image in Photoshop Lightroom (back) opens, but does not show a picture and no error message. But when I then look at the recently opened files, the image is in the list. When I click on this point, Photoshop displays, and the error message: "the datamodule can't handle the file format" (which is either RAW or jpeg).

Another expirience is when I try to open any other image directly from within Photoshop, Photoshop skips the XMP and open the original unmodified file.

Somehow, there must be a bug, I tried everything without success.  But now I have a good "workaround." I created an export preset in Lightroom that exports my psd image, the last step to open the image in Phtoshop. The only thing you need to do is to remove the psd file, when you don't need it anyymore (for example when I don't use a Photoshop export feature). But the "Workaround" is very uncomfortable.

  • Editing photos from Lightroom CC CC of items in layers

I have a question or forgot with pictures of stratification from lightroom to items CC.  I've done this before and have not had a problem.  The background layer is tiny on the layer and I can't fill the layer with the complete picture.  The other layers are enormous.  What I am doing wrong?

    A possible answer-

The dimensions in pixels are different for each image.

'Document' that Photoshop creates should take the size of the bigger picture. The small images will fill only part of the area of the background of the document new box appears therefore as image on a transparent layer.

You should not use "Transform" or similar to resize the layers.

  • E-mailing of photos from lightroom in chronological order.

I still waiting for instructions on how to send pictures in chronological order by e-mail from lightroom?  Lightroom has mysteriously reorganizes the images in an inappropriate way.  I tried to put the pictures in the right order in a collection, but once again the images become screwed up in the email.

I don't know if this happens with all email clients, or some as it does with Apple Mail. What client do you use?  It might be just the way certain mail clients handle export and are NOT a bug.  I know that this has been discussed for several years on the forum and I believe has been reported on forum feedback as a bug, but I don't know if Adobe believes that it is a bug.  The solution is simple, so I do not consider this problem.  I know that the chances of solving it, if it is considered to be a bug in Adobe are on ZERO when they set very few bugs, even important.

Here is a past thread. They are numerous, if you do a search.
