  • Used computers for primary school in South Africa

I visited the PRIMARY SCHOOL of NOMPONDO in Kwa Zulu Natal, South Africa.  They need 40-50 computers for the computer lab they are building for children.  It seems as if many companies use Dell computers as a service now and their old computers are returned to Dell.  Dell has a program/person I can contact to bet used computers for these children?  Must be able to run Windows 7.  Thank you!

I read that it was to recover and recycle plastic and metal. You could try emailing the goodwill and check with them. This is the US site, but it's a place to watch.

  • Helps the coloring book for children.

Hello. I am part of a group of volunteers who give their time to support children with disabilities. The local centre were voluntary we recently received a donation of computers specially designed for children. The team and I thought appropriate activities that could be done on the computer.

We came up with the idea of having a coloring book interactive were children are able to choose between different colors and customize fundamentally different characters and objects.

We have a trip to Disney Land Paris coming in February and decided to try to use it as a theme for some activities.

The idea we came up with is a book coloring Disney interactive.

Now, I'm no Wizard on the computer but did my best to create using flash. (It is because if we create it ourselves we will be able to change it so suit needs)

So far, we have been able to get a background etc for the coloring book with speaking of Disney characters, but I'm having great difficulty to do the coloring of the Disney characters.

I was wondering if someone here would be able to help?

I tried to use the many guides, but seems not work for me.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Here is a link to a picture of Mickey Mouse incase anyone needs.

The goal will be to make a number of charters in the book, but if we are able to get a finish we should be able to use it as an example and create our own.

    http://sandboxworld.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/mickey_mouse.jpg

The idea is to have all the pieces of its interactive clothing as well as his nose.

    Thanks in advance...

Yes, draw you shapes behind the hands, making a clip and you're done. I updated the sample and added hands for you and also added the png of mickey in the source.

  • Get rid of the app I don't want my children to use

    Hello

I left my children download an application (Roblox) that I would prefer that they use no more. I remove the app from my screen, but when I go back to the app store, it allows immediately to me (or my child) download/install again without a password - probably because I have already downloaded.

How can I get the app store to "forget" that I have already downloaded this application?

You can not. However you can go to settings, General, restrictions - define a password and remember or you will have to wipe your device to move it - then set it so that the applications can be installed or removed without the need of access code.

then they a still see, but cannot install it

  • Do I need a converter or a transformer to use my Macbook Pro South Africa to the United States?

I'm in South Africa and will soon travel to the United States and that will take my Macbook Pro with me. My point is different from that of the American decision-making point. I know that the South Africa and America are working on different voltages (works on electricity different "schemes"). I'll be able to keep my charger and just change the plug to an American (he will take tension)? Or do I need to get a converter?

Hi, I bought a the United States iphone6, im now in South Africa and it will not work. It says sim not supported.how do I fix this?

The SIM card is not support indicates that the iPhone is locked to the American carrier that it has been activated with. In order to obtain the released lock it is necessary that you talk to the carrier to find out what their requirements are to release the lock. They are the only ones who unlock it so that it can be used with another carrier.

  • I gave in November at$ 20, why am I still a request to make a donation?

I noticed that whenever I open my Firefox, I always get a request to make a donation. I have responded to their online form and have a Paypal receipt for it. Should demand disappear or is it now standard on the opening of Firefox? Most other organizations e g Wikipedia remind you after you have given.

This is part of our end of year gift campaign. Show all Firefox users who have the default "topic: Home" game from the homepage. It doesn't have a way to say that you've already given unfortunately. You can ignore it, or change your homepage until after the beginning of the year.

Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for the gift!

  • Was about to make a donation to the work (have done it before, from home), but suddenly had internal alarm about the enter credit card information. Reinsurance?

Hi vschulz, thank you very much want to support mozilla and firefox.
the authentic for mozilla donation page is hosted at https://sendto.mozilla.org/ - when you see this address in your address bar and the padlock icon indicating a secure connection, it will be prudent to make a donation (this page is also linked from the home page by default in firefox at the moment) - I do not know if your corporate firewall is recovering just any entry of credit card information and alerts you to this topic but...
