Hi Experts,

I have a Cisco AIR-AP1252AG-A-K9 in stand-alone mode on which access point it the dot11radio interfaces declined recently. All other interfaces are up. The dot11radio1 interface has been down/down state. I closed / not closed it & its now in down state:

Can someone help me please check why its down?

  • High HEAT related physical Interface down

    Hi guys!

We try connect FI 6248 (UCSM 2.1.1a) of Brocade 6510 swtich (FI a Brocade both switches separately). The ports are configured as port Uplink FC and the work of the FI in end-host mode. We have created the service profile. Occurs immediately after combining the SP to one of the blades two errors:

High HEAT related physical Interface down

High HEAT related physical Interface down

and it's the 2 vHBAs created in MS. Is this a normal situation if the OS is already installed on the host? We cannot set up SAN side Brocade because we don't see any WWPN of the vHBAs configured in MS. We see only FI WWPN (as I think). NPIV mode is activated by the side of Brocade.

Can someone explain what can cause this problem?

    Sergey,

  • Static route disappears when the interface down

Can someone please help me on this:

I have the static route on a router to a remote network, remote network interface was in a line down to the low State and static entry has disappeared from the routing table, I could see the entrance to the road, static in the config but it possible? It's a router 3745 with a Diginet 128 K link to remote network.

It is perfectly normal behavior. If the static route would remain in the routing table, the router might be transfer traffic to an interface that is not working properly.

An exception is a dialer interface, which connects to the application. The router must be able to transfer the traffic through a dialer, even when there is no call in progress. In this case, the router will be "spoof" the connection as being upward. You can see with ' show the Dialer interface... '

  • 851W w / WPA - PSK - Interface goes down.

    Hello

I tried to configure WPA - PSK on the router 851W. I followed the instructions using the SDM and properly active wireless WPA - PSK network. I have connected a MacBookPro to the network wireless, with all the features, then after a minute or two, separates the client and Dot11Radio interface goes down.

I have install a network open without any connectivity problems. I have search the net and forums of Cisco without success for a solution to this problem. Here is the link to the guide: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/routers/ps380/products_configuration_example09186a00808acf2f.shtml

Any ideas what might be causing the radio interface down with WPA - PSK configured?

    Thank you.

For some it's IOS version WPA - PSK, which proved to be intermittent. Cisco CSCeh90412 bug describes it. Try to update the IOS version and check.

  • Troubleshooting of the IDS 4215 interface detection

    Hello!

I am deploying IDS4215 with interface of remote sensing (Fa0/1) connected to the SPAN Cat3750 Gig1/0/1 interface.

The problem is the following. The ID works for a while (I am able to view alerts and States 'show int' Fa0/1 located upward). Then after awhile Fa0/1 goes down, I don't know why.

The Cat3750 shows that State of Gig1/0/1 passes the "follow-up" to "notconnect. All I can do is restart IDS.

Catalyst shows no error on the interface.

I am a novice in ID, and I appreciate any idea where to start troubleshooting.

    Thanks in advance!

In my view, that there is something seriously wrong with version 5.1 (1). Why Cisco continues to allow users to download is beyond comprehension. I will be rebuild about 20 sensors today because of this problem. I have rebuilt 6 sensors Friday [from an ISO image, models 4235,4240,4255] and let them run this weekend. 5 out of 6 have the sensor interface down once again.

Depends on your type of encapsulation. The most common:

-GRE: source down, not routable destination, GRE KeepAlive interface has failed.

-VTI: source interface down, not routable destination, security associations IPsec are not upward.

  • Lost the user interface in Premiere Pro?

A few weeks ago I signed up for creative cloud. I started using the first Pro CC. I knew that I couldn't take advantage of the Mercury engine because I have ATI Radeon HD 4870 512 MB. I was still able to edit and work. Today I went to send timeline to grade speed and it took forever to export, finally to halfway to send it, I gave up and revived Premiere Pro. When the first opened my UI had disappeared. Drop-down menus have all their but disappeared from the user interface. If I went in create new title, I could see that window, but the chronology, garbage, source and windows Records were not visible. I know that the sequence is always there because if I hit the space bar the sequence plays through my Kona card. I closed the first and I got a pop up menu Nvidia Cuda ask my update of drivers. It's strange because I have a card ATI not a Nvidia card. If I open all the other apps After Effects or Photoshop, all of the user interface is here. What gives?

Ann Merci for the info, Ann. However I realized that it was just that the interface was dragged all the way upward under the white bar that says first projects.

When I saw the arrow pointing down I realized that I had to just drag the interface down. Simple mistake. Thanks again.

    Hi John,.

If your WLC mgt vlan does not enable DHCP, yes you can try to manually configure an IP address like below (IP & Gateway and WLC mgt IP info that you need to change to according to your intellectual property regime). If the keyword CAPWAP does not use LWAPP keyword in the syntax of the command

    LWAP #debug capwap console cli

    LWAP #capwap ap 10.10.110.5 ip address 255.255.255.0

LWAP #capwap ap ip default gateway - 10.10.110.1

IP LWAP ap controller 10.10.110.10 #capwap

    LWAP #debug lwapp console cli

    LWAP #lwapp ap 10.10.110.5 ip address 255.255.255.0

LWAP #lwapp ap ip default gateway - 10.10.110.1

IP LWAP ap controller 10.10.110.10 #lwapp

    This refer for details

Position the console AP output this time if it does not work

  • 1602i-e-k9 AP and WLC 5508 issue of Cisco

    Dear forum participants,

I experience a problem connection Access Point 1602i-e-k9 to WLC 5508

I upack and taken an AP on the network, it appears on the WLC (monitor > all APs), I can see it using the link details for several time.

Then he desappears, restart does not help.

I searched the forum for solutions, made AP reset via command "cli rommon-like" + button "MODE" and "reset" . After that, the same thing happens again: he appears on WLC and disappears.

    What I am doing wrong?

Brief info on devices and newspapers partial

Please see the full changelog of the AP attached (contains info after the reset command has been entered).

  • Cisco Aironet 1262N stuck during the startup process

I'm banging my head against the wall, trying to figure out why my AIR-AP1262N-A-K9 will start all the way. He'll get all the way to initiate interfaces and stop. I can never get to control the CLI. This is my first time with a cisco ap but everything I read it very easy sewing.

This unit from what I understand will work on its own with no controller. Therefore, it is called a "stand-alone" model Yet he seems to be looking for something to complete during the boot. Below the out put for starting. The last line is where it stops.

If anyone can help me I would be very happy.

  • Cisco AIR-LAP1041N-E-K9 does not not with WLC 4402 version 7.0.116.0

    Hi all

appreciate your support for a problem I started to deal with today. I have a Cisco WLC 4402 running the 7.0.116.0 version and it's great to work with 25 Cisco 1252 access points. We received a new 20 Cisco 1041N APs today and I installed one in our site, but it does not work. He well worked and loaded the flash image and obtained WLC ip through DHCP option address and began to show the below error:

I searched the difference in regulatory areas between AIR-LAP1041N -E- K9 and AIR-LAP1041N -A- K9 and no difference was found which may affect the operation of this access point.
to cite our WLC configuration for regulatory areas is:
    Country set AR codes

    Area of regulation 802. 11A:-A
    802.11bg:-a
My question is should I just include my country in the WLC (IQ) add the field of requlatry (-E) to solve this problem? or change the country will affect the operation of all APs workers?
    Appreciate your kind support,
    Patrick Q.

Try adding a European country to your regulatory domain.

  • Guest never appears in a 2602i access point

    Hello:

Today, I converted an access point AIR-CAP2602I-A-K9 to stand-alone using the mode button/tftp, but any IOS Installer (I tried 2 other IOS and also tried to enter Rommon - I am able to change IOS because that the procedure I used is a not any command), I never get to see the prompt so that I can introduce commands to configure the AP. It's as if it hangs after initialization "successfully."

The only thing I see all the time is the 'normal' console messages, and it displays no error message at all.  It happened before the downgrade.

That's where stops the PA, but it is not really hung up because the console messages could keep appearing. He simply never gets the PROMT so I can enter a few commands. Not same acept would come.

  • Cisco SGE2010P LAG in access or trunk mode?

    Hello.

I have a client who has two SGE2010P connected by four LAG ports.

Switch has all the users, and B a whole server. All used on the vlan 1.

Now I had to add the point with multiple SSID access.

Here the port I created trunk port since the AP had to pass several tag/no identified images.

So now the two trunk vlan is spent. One is the vlan 1 and other native vlan 2 for the wireless of comments.

If I were to set up access to this port, the AP Gets the ip address of the DHCP server on the other switch.

When I set up the trunk, the gi0.1, which is part of the vlan native Gets the ip address.

However, the Gi0.2 interface, which is part of the vlan 2 does not get an ip address.

When I put the port vlan 2 access mode and got the AP to be in this vlan.

I was able to get the ip address on the scope of vlan2. It's only when I set up the trunk port.

the vlan 2 (not native vlan) does not get an ip address.

So I think it is, maybe the LAG port is in access mode in the vlan 1 and not in trunk mode.

Is it possible to change the port of OFFSET to be in trunk mode?

    Thank you in advance.

Hi Thomas, that there should be "M1" in the list of the interface down. Or some channel port that you assigned. As an OFFSET, these ports are more specific. It works exactly the same in a catalyst environment, difference is, it's on a GUI config vs a CLI config.
