    I built the DotNet CS samples successfully, but as I am new on the WSSDK, I'm not clear how to operate.  For example, I'm trying to run GetVMFiles or GetVirtualDiskFiles from the inside of the host (Windows 2003 Server) running on vSphere 4.1.

    I don't understand what more of the different parameters mean.

    I ran this command-line, divided for readability (192.168.123.121 is the IP address of the server vSphere, the client runs on):

    GetVirtualDiskFiles.exe - url https://192.168.123.121/SDK username - root - password rootpswd - Server 192.168.123.121 - hostname 192.168.123.121

    I get the following result. It lists VMDK that one only which is not even used by the current customer! Can someone tell me what the various parameters and how to get the VMDK for the current customer?  Thank you.

Although I'm not sure about this but it seems previous models of the G4 had apparently come with multiple drives as part of the package, such as the restore disc and a separate Apple Hardware Test disk. But as I say as far as I can tell, the end MDD models came with a solitary DVD that had all of this out there, including software for OS X (10.2.3) and OS 9.2.2 installations Classic environment as well as Apple Hardware Test (version 2.0.2 was apparently only for the MDD Mac released in 2003). Also hidden on the disc was a picture called OS 9 General who was actually a specific bootable OS 9.2.2 on that version.

    It is part number related to what I can find I * think * 691-4161-A. I found several references to previous reference numbers, but they seem to be associated with previous G4 and models models actually prior to the DDM too. So, does anyone know if this is that correct? Thank you.

    Maybe you should try a linux ubuntu server edition, which works great on almost * ALL * systems, even on systems with faulty CPU/memory (Ok, ok, not 100%, but it works, I got this case :))

    So, maybe you can try to exchange the RAM, but if you're still the same error then ask microsoft or try another P200, if they are available.

    As mentioned above, you will not find the Toshiba drivers designed for Windows 2003 R2 server.
    But don t worry, and don t give up.
    Windows XP drivers must simply be compatible and you should be able to install the Xp drivers on the Win2003 Server operating system.
