  This problem is caused by a defective unit or a device driver. Visit the website of the manufacturer of your computer or see if AMd drivers directly will work for your hardware configuration and then uninstall and reinstall your drivers.

• HP EliteDesk 800 G1 SFF: HP EliteDesk 800 G1 SFF: using VGA and DisplayPort simultaneously for double configuration monitor

  If the title says it all. I'm trying to set up two monitors on my HP EliteDesk 800 G1 SFF. Here is my configuration:

  1. first monitor (Acer B223W) lights DisplayPort and displays things normally.

  2. second monitor (HP LP2065) is on the VGA port.

  The problem is that my second port monitor never gets a signal from the machine and going to sleep mode. Connect the second monitor changes my main screen at a desk empty (no icons, no taskbar, just a plain painted paper), which I believe means it tries to use my VGA monitor as main display.

  However, the VGA monitor never seems to show anything. I spent my main screen on the first monitor successfully too, but is not all about him either.

  In case the problem persists, please exchange the monitor and VGA cables cables once and check.

  Try and clear CMOS by following the steps below:

  1. turn off the computer and unplug the power cord from the power outlet.
  2. remove the access panel.
  3. on the system board, hold down the CMOS button for 5 seconds.
  4. replace the chassis access panel and reconnect the power cord.
  5 turn on the computer and let it boot.

  I found a third-party software on Microsoft TechNet, named MBOX Converter Wizard that will maintain the MBOX emails in format Excel (CSV) with the correct information. When I tested this software to convert MBOX file to Excel format then it properly complete the process extract email attachments and save in the new folder.

  I recommend this software as it not only convert MBOX to Excel, but gives also facilitated to convert MBOX files in several formats to common files such as HTML, RTF, PDF, etc. from PST.

• Looking for Inspiron microphone solution

  We just bought an Inspiron 13 and discovered after opening the box there is no built-in microphone.  There is a shot of two-one for the use of a headset.  This seems to be a deficiency.  My wife and I share a laptop when Skype'ing our children so the only microphone based on the helmet is not an option.

  What do you do to overcome the missing microphone?  Add an external Bluetooth microphone/speaker?  If so, what would you recommend and how to add a Bluetooth device?

  Hello, I searched Hi and low and starts to believe that it is just not possible from messages of others.  But since the last time this question has been posted in 2011, I'm hoping that there was a resolution.

  How can I get my secondary monitor to show an image (any image would be great), while my computer is locked or simply putting in operation and reached the login screen.  Currently my secondary monitor shows just a black screen.  I do not want my screen to extend completely on two monitors (mosaic on nvidia video card) because when I do, my taskbar spans also the length of the two screens.  I like to use click once on my programs, rather than cluttering up my desktop with icons and you install vertically between the two monitors. I am unable to do otherwise.  Please let me know if anyone knows how to do this.  Thank you

  I suggest you follow the steps mentioned and see if it helps:

  Method 1:

  Duplicate the display settings and check if you can view the screen saver in the monitor extended as well.

  To change your display settings

  1. open the screen resolution by clicking on the Start button, Control Panel, and then, under appearance and personalization, click on adjust the screen resolution.

  2. click on the dropdown next to several screens, click on duplicate these appear, and then click OK.

  The option appears only when Windows detects multiple displays, more than one monitor connected to your PC.

  Note:

  o If you don't see an option named multiple displays in your display settings, then Windows isn't detecting a second monitor plugged into your desktop computer. Or else, it does not detect an external monitor plugged into your laptop. When Windows detects this monitor, it will appear in the drop-down list next to the screen. If you do not see that what listed there, try click on Detect.

  o ensure that the monitor you want to extend your desktop to is turned on and plugged into the video port appropriate to your computer. You may also need to select the correct source labeled on the controls of your monitor to ensure that the monitor is using the correct video port. For more information, consult the manual of your monitor or go to the manufacturer's Web site.

  I suggest you to check the display resolution value for both monitors. Make sure that the resolution of the screen is the same on each display.

• Looking for a Javascript solution for video output HTML5 in Firefox

  I know that Captivate 8 still has a problem with the video release of HTML5 in Firefox. Many have said it is a problem of Mozilla, but it is clearly not as articulate scenario can play HTML5 video in FF without problem. MP4 files play as well in Firefox when not wrapped into a Captivate file. I know that I can play HTML5 in Firefox video if I change the CPM.js file to use .ogv place .mp4. But then the video will not play in Safari, which does not support to .ogv. I can't change the JS to include both types of files. Does anyone know of a script that would be able to do? Do not know exactly how do it, but I'm guessing that the script would point to .mp4 if Safari or Google Chrome is detected or point to .ogv if Firefox is detected. Captivate has so much more energy than the plot, in my opinion, but some of these defects are very dibilitating.

  I found this solution too. Basically, I use the browser redirects with .ogv file, and everything works fine. Not sure that Captivate does not support mp4 video for FF and Opera, when both browsers play this format outside the Cp.

  We have a small infrastructure we use for software development purposes. We have 4 ESX servers, all currently running ESX 3.5 u3 and about 30 mV. We store the virtual machines on the local storage of ESX. We want to move to a centralized storage for virtual machines and that we want to use VMotion and HA. Is there a low-cost SAN solution for a facility like ours?

  A Dell MD3000i would be a good choice for a 4 ESX server environment, very cheap compared to blown full SAN solutions (even the stuff Equalogic Dell is at least 5 times the cost). We use them for small customer installs (internally, we use Dell |) (EMC Clariion CX3 and 4, but they would be an exaggeration). Make sure you budget for a couple of decent network for iSCSI switches to (we use Cisco those but those are probably fine if you want to buy everything from a seller to relieve the problems of Dell support)

  the web doctor hp software clears the queue, but the material will still not print. In order to print material, I am required to save the file as a PDF and print the PDF.

  Maybe that's a problem with my Google settings?

  Our House is the proud owner of several Apple devices, together, we have 2 MacBooks, 2 iPhone and an iPad. Devices are distributed over more than 2 Apple ID, we want to keep it this way.

  But, as we both take a lot of pictures it is always a hassle to keep track of the best of them so that we are looking for an easy solution. I searched a bit already online but seem to be asking the wrong question, in any case, I can't find what I'm looking for so I'll try here now.

  What we would like to have:

  -Pictures of fact on two iPhones are automatically downloaded / synchronized to one place, wherever we are.

  -This place should ideally be in our House (so preferably not cloud)

  -This place should also be easily accessible from a computer at home so that we can see both the photo when we want and send us some grandmother for example.

  Does anyone have or know a Setup program as described? We are willing to invest and have considered purchasing a Synology appliance for our backups etc already. One of the iPhone is an iPhone 4 which is still ok, so if possible, we would like to keep for a while, the other is an SE. The two MacBook are completely up to date.

  I recently bought a new laptop Hp M6 - N010dx, and the trackpad Envy Touchsmart is already in place.
  I installed the latest drivers for my pc, upgrade to 8.1 windows and twisted the sensitivity of the mouse, but I always have problems.

  Sometimes the pointer will become difficult to move on the screen and then will move its own. Again, to move its own, as in, I'm not in contact with the laptop at all. It's very frustrating.
  I can temporarily fix the problem or reboot my laptop or by writ put to sleep and then wake up again. However, I am looking for a permanent solution.

  Any ideas?

  I decided to return the laptop to bestbuy. I found that many users have had this same problem with the same model laptop and no "solution" offered actually work (I even tried myself without result). It's really a shame because I liked this laptop apart from faulty equipment... I am considering getting the x 360, but he mixed comments as well.
  This may end up being my last HP laptop that really, really bothers me because they are beautiful and affordable pcs

  Repeatedly, to a crash program, (different programs), Windows 7 responds with a box dialog error that says "xyz program has stopped working, windows is looking for a solution to the problem."  This continues for a while, finally, the error dialog box indicates that no solution has been found.

  Of course, no solution is ever found!  The computer wasted my time looking for this elusive 'solution' with success and nothing to actually restart the program.

  Is it possible to disable this apparently useless feature?

  Hi guys, I have a Mac Pro 2008 8 core 2.8ghz 32 gb of ram running a 1 to RAID 0 El Captian a 2600XT (APPLE) and a HD5870 (not APPLE).  My question is how do these cards function? I want a double configuration monitor, but I also want the start screen, so I can trouble shoot. If I put a tft one card and the other tft to another, how will it happen? Photoshop will run better on the screen with the best card? Sorry, but used to SLi in windows. Any help or advice on this would be very useful.

  Only one card flashed Mac will display a splash screen. Looks like the HD5870 is not a card flashed to Mac.

  Some functions/effects in Photoshop can use a graphics card for the treatment and thus accelerate this function.

  The 2600XT is not supported I think and by the following
