  I just want to be able to keep 3 years of the last entries in the calendar on my device and transfer future appointments that I do on my device to my Office Outlook calendar when I sync the two.

  Solution to the problem!  I hope this will help others.  I got lots of help from my "friend" double focus on this one and finally got to talk to a person to support RIM yesterday.  I think that what follows is my fix:

  Even if I went to the 'calendar', 'options', 'General options', 'actions' and set 'keep appointments' to 'forever' as one of the first things I did to solve this problem, the tech of BB (Matt) says that the setting often have not kept, so I changed "forever" for 15 days and recorded the change.  Then I restarted the phone by pulling the battery with the phone and returned above and changed the option back to "forever".  I now do a sync with only the future transferred elements and the past 2 synchronizations have been beautifully!  If I have other problems, I will let you all know and understand, I hope, the solution.

  My project is to convert an Indesign 800 page in a DPS Folio catalog. I have 14 of the 26 items completed and received a message on my iPad say I was nearly out of space message previewing in Content Viewer. When I removed it the viewer content is a little more than 11 GB and when I watched the local resource on the hard drive it is 5.75 GB. Ugh. It is typical for the file in the viewer twice the size of the local file content? Which is a better indicator of what to expect for a finished project?

  This is obviously too much. How can I make cela a more manageable size? First, it has a double focus. The portrait is produced first, then a different layout is created for the horizontal. The portrait is removed and the layout is recorded as _m. would have noticed that only one orientation reduce my size? Each article's individual .folio file size ranges from 400 to 600 MB. It is my understanding that Folio Builder compressed/converted all images used in articles. Should I convert all images print high resolution low resolution?

• Help with Captivate Slide Focus - Double click

  First of all, I would like to say this being my first experience of Captivate - fix a bug.
  
  I have a slide (in fact, all of the slides in the CBT) with highlight 3 boxes (superior, middle section, the bottom section) in which the legends and the buttons are placed on top. All HBs are at the bottom of the timeline above the slide. When spotted in Captivate or publication into an LMS, it takes several mouse clicks to highlight and the buttons run. I tried to move deadlines autour, but nothing doesn't seem to eliminate the need to click somewhere on the slide to give focus first and then clicking on the second time on a button to activate it. Help, please! Thank you very much. Donna

• Double click on the arrow to the left on the tab bar creates a new tab at the end of the right hand.

  With Firefox 29.0.1 by double clicking on the arrows on the right in the tab bar or the left creates a new tab at the end of the right hand of the tab bar. It is embarrassing behavior that violates standards around UI design click and double-click. A double-click should extend the behavior of the single click rather than do something completely different (opening a new tab). An example would be, in a Word, a single click selects a Word, double click selects the sentence and a triple click selects the paragraph. Note that this is a separate issue from double click the tab bar itself to create a new tab.

  When there are more tabs on the tabs in the window toolbar, that highlight the tabs on the side will not hold show tab in use. I can click on the left and right arrows at the end of the tab bar to scroll the bar in this sense to bring a tab I want to select in the display. I believe that the double click on the arrow to the left would scroll the bar completely to the right, exposing the tab on the left Double click on the right arrow would scroll the bar left entirely exposing the rightmost tab.

  It is a logical extension and expected behavior of single click. Single click - scroll once (seems to be the value of the tab in three), double-click on - scroll all the way.

  For now, if I want to access the tab on the left, I have to click the arrow slowly and carefully until I get to it. I used only one quick click on the arrow to the left until that shponkah stop scrolling without having to count how many clicks. It is possible that my simple quick clicks were actually double-click. However, the bar tabs would stop scrolling when it reaches the end.

  Now, the behavior is really annoying and unexpected. Double click on left dead entirely right tabs completely left arrow and creates a new tab at the end of the right hand. Ditto the arrow right in the opposite direction.

  While I can (maybe) see that the value of a double click on the tab bar itself to create a new tab, double click on one of the scroll arrows should show a new tab.

  Double click on the arrows of the tab should scroll the tab fully for this purpose bar. If the tab bar is already entirely Scrolls towards ending extra clicks (single, double and triple...) should be ignored.

  I like the idea of opening a new tab to the right of the one that has the focus. This should be an option of the contextual right click menu.

  That should not occur if you click the scroll buttons in the tab bar.
  A double-click should act as page up/down and move a full screen and a triple click should move to the left (first tab) or the right (last) until now tab.

  Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.

• Tab behavior of the focus in the search of selected text

  In versions previous to Firefox, when I selected some text on a Web page, right click on the text for the menu popup and click on the option 'Search' (search Google for "my text selection") tab that currently has the focus would stay focused and a new tab would be launched to manage appropriate search in the background. Since I updated to Firefox 13, the new tab now receives focus when I do a search on the selected text.

  How can I switch to the old behavior? This change in functionality is driving me crazy. When you read a Web page, I often like to select words and phrases I need to learn more and search Google or Wikipedia via the context menu. I almost always like to finish reading the current page before going off to read the new tabs. Even if I did intend to stop reading the current page, and go to the new tab, there are often several seconds to ensure that the new tab to load and I prefer to keep the page being read and manually switch the new tab that watching a blank tab while I wait for it to load.

  In the "Tabs" window tab options, there is a check box for "When I open a link in a new tab, switch to it immediately." Is there something like that for the new tabs launched by a search from context menu?

• must click twice to focus on an application

  This problem is rather difficult to describe, and I do not know the correct jargon, so I had to hurt looking for another thread that can ask the same question.

  Situation: I have two applications (this happens with any combination of applications), let's say TextEdit and calculator. The 'focus' is on the calculator. I can type in numbers from the keyboard, or click with the mouse on the calculator figures so he computes. No problem. But, if I want to then bring 'focus' to the TextEdit window - where if I type something - when I move the mouse anywhere on the window in TextEdit and click, it does not update to TextEdit and it remains greyed out. the focus remains on calculator.

  In order to get to restore the focus to TextEdit so I can type, I have to click twice on the app. However, I can't double-click on it or it will minimize the window. I have to click once, wait a few seconds, so it won't register as a doubclick and then click New. It of incredibly frustrating, slows down my work flow and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to change it. Happened for quite awhile, and I think changed after I downloaded some sort of new update, which one I don't remember unfortunately.

  Again, this happens with both applications. I am aware to be able to use the command + tab to switch between apps and I use it often, but sometimes using my mouse to organize windows or any other action is necessary.

• menu bar popup not working if the focus is on the control of the chain

  Dear all,

  I wonder if this is the behavior expected or if I'm doing something wrong:

  On a Panel, I have a control of the chain; on double click, I opened a file selection box to select a file, then the file name on this control of the chain. After this action, this string is the active control, indicated by the gray frame.

  I also have a menu with some defined keyboard shortcuts bar for example F2. It seems that F2 is not functional, long as the focus is on the control of the chain. It's embarrassing because the typical user action is selects a file and then pressing on Fx. To resolve this problem, the user should click somewhere on the Panel to move the focus to another control. Of course this could be done programmatically, but the extra effort is not to say necessary for controls ring or digital controls. Also in digital controls, I can change the numbers, but even if a digital control is the active control due to the edition of the F2 value works immediately.

  I think what is happening here is that left double click is also used to highlight the text. So when you trigger the EVENT_LEFT_DOUBLE_CLICK, you're placing the text in the control of the chain and then also accentuating. It seems to be behaving strangely when the two of them occurs at the same time because of the order of the events. You can see that the mouse around when, returning from the file select popup causes the region highlighting to drag over the text. In this highlight mode, you cannot use the shortcuts for the menu. I was able to solve this problem by swallowing the EVENT_LEFT_DOUBLE_CLICK after you set the value of the control.

• Problems when scanning double-sided printer Officejet 8600 Pro Plus

  I recently bought a printer HP Officejet 8600 Pro Plus (CM750A n911g)

  I am facing difficulties when more than one original double face scanning by ADF.

  A single page works fine, but with several pages it works in about 10% of cases.

  This is what is happening.

  In normal situations, side of first page the page is parsed, page is hit, second side is scanned, new page flips and ejects the page.

  But there are times that when the first side is scanned the first page is fed into the ADF, the second page we begin to slide into the ADF, because the upper feed Dungeon rollers turning at this time here in time.

  For the moment that first page trying to flip the machine 'sees' the second page and decided to eject the first page without analyzing the second side. It begins directly to scan the first side of the second page. (image is reversed 180% because the machine "thinks" it is the second part of the first page)

  This is happening (not always, sometimes some pages are treated as it should be) up to the last page.

  Last page is always correct, since there is no next page more to disrupt the process.

  Anyone know what to do to avoid this behavior? The paper used is normal paper 80g.

  I installed the latest version of the firmware in this machine (CLP1CN1304AR)

  I'm starting to think that this could be a bug software and superior power rollers run too long.

  I've tried different settings and this happens when starting a scan of the computer, but also when starting a scan of the screen touchscreen printer.

  I deleted these lines, because it doesn't change anything.

  The base in place, is that there are three defined different rotations, one around each axis. Of course, these could be combined into a single rotation, but doing so would make the geometry in the mouse dragging very complex managers. As it is, the degree of rotation around each axis can be calculated and changed independently.

  In general, the rotations are defined by an angle, an axis and a (pivot) point. The axis is a 3D vector and goes through the pivot point; the rotation is around this axis through that point.

  In the configuration in the example, the pivot of each of the individual rotations is set to the default (0,0,0). Because we really want the rotation to be around the center of the group, not the original, the Group translates first point appropriate pivot (ip), the rotations are applied then (around (0,0,0) after translation by ip), then the group is reflected in its location of origin (p). These operations are not commutative, yes show ip, then the rotation, then p is not the same as when you run ip, then p, then the rotation (in the second, ip and p would cancel and rotation would be about (0,0,0) instead of around the Center).

  For good measure, there is a scale, that is also applied after ip (so that scaling occurs from the Center, not the original) and then a final translation.

  The final effect is that there is a lot of transformations that can be controlled independently. There is a scale (s), a rotation about each axis (rx, ry, rz), and a translation (t). The p in translations and its inverse ip are just "housekeeping" to ensure that rotation and scaling are done from the center of the screen, instead of (0,0,0).

  So:

  He puts the group to its original position, but other changes are between p and ip. These transformations behave differently (in a planned way) because the group is translated when they are applied.

  The t values are changed in the mouse Manager (with alt-middle mouse button-drag, which I can't test actually using my trackpad...). As you have noted, the effect of p and IP translation cancel out, so we end up with t, which can be changed by the user. They could have combined t and p a single transformation, but updated since the mouse Manager would have been more delicate, and the intent of the code would be less clear.
