  Notepad is a very limited text editor, so you can't really do a lot of formatting.  Double-spaced, the only way is to put two 'statements' at the end of each line.  You can format the font, and set the page layout for printing, but apart from turn, wordwrap who speaks all the formatting, you can do it.

  To save a file, just go to file, save money, find the folder you want to save it in (don't forget remember where you saved it), name, and click Save.

  To send it to another computer on your network, you can choose the drive you want to move on the network and copy and paste, or drag and drop it.  Or you can go to the computer that you want to put on, navigate to the drive on your computer where you saved, and then copy and paste or drag and drop it.

  It isn't double-spaced. It inserts the html for a paragraph tag.

  If you want a line break, press SHIFT + ENTER and dw will insert the html tag
  for a linebreak,.

• Point of Photos? Use it takes double space?

  Have used an iPhone for years, I am relatively new on my MacBook.  From what I can tell, photos app on my iPhone: useful, but the photos on MacBook app running el Capitan: not useful?

  I copied all my files in the pictures library, and then when I went to them for download to print them, I couldn't find the files.  I was told that I had to export them, which I did, which solved this issue and all the image files are in the same place (I learned from where to find where files of Photos are stored, but it is not super easy access, or in a concise list).  Now, I have two questions;

  1. If I use cloud storage, what is the point of having all my in the Photos app, other than just watching at home (which I don't usually do)?

  2 if I have all my photos in pictures and also export them to a folder all files are easy to use, I'm essentially used double my space hard drive to keep in both places?

  If you get only familiar with the interface of Photos, you should be able to find and print your photos easily.

  I almost always duplicate the objects or layers by using ctrl-alt drag (while using move tool) to duplicate the layer.  Now, in the last Photoshop CC 2014 it duplicates the not only the layer group.  Is this a setting?  Thank you

• VMDK show in double space

  Hi all

  I have a strange behavior on one of my test systems. Although the drive is set to the provision of the thickness, and there are no snapshots I have two files from disc to disc, consuming a lot of space. The logic unit number is short on space, cause serious problems.

  I am attaching a picture of the store of data browser and a screen of settings of the virtual machine.

  I also tried a Storage VMotion moving HDD1 and HDD2 to different LUN, no modification whatsoever.

  The hosts are 4.1U1 ESX/ESXi. Storage is an EMC CX with FC connectivity

  Any suggestion on how to clean virtual machine.

  Reading one of your previous posts I guess you're a VCI and I have no need to say something about the importance of a good backup

  Browsing through newspapers shows that each virtual disk is currently 1 snapshot, however some of the file names are messy. If I read the log file names used to capture instant vmdk (scsi0:0 and scsi0:1) are those usually used for basic/flat file. I'm not 100% sure if this actually causes the question, but I would certainly clean up filenames. In addition to clean up file names, remove ALL the KTC and the vmsd file files. Parts of renaming and editing must be done on the console or via SSH.

  Here are the steps that I think they should solve the problem:

  • Stop the virtual machine
  • remove the virtual machine from the inventory (we must edit the vmx file and re-register later)
  • Remove all ctk (on two LUNS) files
  • Remove the vmsd file (it may or may not be necessary)
  • Delete the aux.xml file (it may or may not be necessary)

  If the above makes no sense to you, attach files vmdk to header for the 6 virtual drives (3 basic disks and 3 disks of snapshot).

• Recover data file / oracle database duplicate offers backup

  Hello.
  I have regular backups of all data files (copy of the image) and created by oracle archivelogs suggested backup.
  
  I want to recover the database to a specific day, and not to the last transaction, on the last day of backup was performed.
  So far I've always had the last transaction recovery with isn't an option because a large amount of data is missing, and I don't know what happened, I just know that that day there before (last image retrieved copy) is very well, but I'm unable to recover at this point. I used recover until sequence, up to the time, but I have always applied the newspaper.
  
  So my question is, can I restore the data file and retrieve it, I mean sync with the database without appling archivelogs to keep the data in this file, as it was the day of the last backup, or use this image copy to create another database to get the same things, or is there another way to get data as it was on the last day backup was taken.
  
  Any help is appreciated, the situation is very serious!

  With recovery of block, you will have to make a full recovery, it is of no use.

  I have ried replaces the double spaces with single spaces a total of 8 times in the list, but for some reason which is also (somewhat) deleting simple spaes as well and im not sure why.

  You can do this with a single search and replace String.  You must enable regular Expressions for this function (with the right button of the function, choose Regular Expression).  The regular Expression '+' (space followed by a sign +) will match one or more spaces - son from that in the search string.  Son of a single "" ((espace) space) in the replacement string, true Set "replace all", then run the function and it will replace all multiple spaces (from the current line) by a space.  If you want to manage several lines in the string, enable this option as well.

  Hi Tam,

  Writing a manuscript is identical to any work published, the extra space is required between the 'lines' no letters.

  You don't say which application processing, you use to type your manuscript in. If you use Microsoft Word then, Yes, there is a button that will double space your lines for you.

  If you use Word 2007 I suggest you open your manuscript, and then press CTRL + A (that is, hold CTRL on your keyboard down and press A. This will select 'all' your text. Then go to the Ribbon of the toolbar (make sure that the Home tab is selected) and click the button that has lines on it and one up and down (this is located next to the button text justification and the trainer of paint (paint can)). Click on it and select 2.0 your lines will be double spaced throughout your manuscript now.

  If you use Word 97 or 2003, then you will find the key to line spacing on the formatting toolbar (it is the one with the police, the font size, bold, italic, thereon). Once again, the button is right next to the Justification button. The procedure of double spacing is the same as Word 2007.

  My computer came with Wordpad.  The model 'by default' seems to be set to double space and I don't know how to change it so that the default value is a single space (ie. like my ad here). Itdoesn't seem to be a 'box' in the menu at the top of the page - on the same line as the font settings/size - titled ' line spacing: change the spacingbetween of text lines ") but it doesn't seem to work ! Or, at least, I don't know how to operate it. I tried to play with the settings made here, but nothing that I don't seem to make any difference.
