Can I apply intermediate layer Patch 10.1 . 2.3 in PORTAL (middleware) after apply MURA 10.1.4 in level infrastructure?

Yes, you can!

MRUA 10.1.4 establish patterns for identity management. The pattern of the portal is always 10.1.2.0.2 if I remember correctly. The 10.1.2.3 patch game contains an update of the repository as well, but this is true for the portal only. If your deposit of Portal 10.1.2.0.2, it will be the patch to 10.1.2.3. If it is already upgraded to 10.1.4.0.0, it will be the patch to 10.1.4.2.

Note that you can also use the ACE 10.1.2.3 patch set to patch the binary files only.

    Even if you have stopped all windows services, sometimes scraps of used DLLS. What I do is make all the manual of oracle related services and then restart the server.
    You can not ignore any dll related errors. If a dll is used, oracle patch process will not replace with a newer version of the dll. I highly recommend the use of the "Microsoft Process Monitor" utility to the monitor, which is running on my server.

    Yes, up to 11.1.1.9.0, you will need to install a new wls House (new wls server admin) and then configure WCC ui there. User interface and COE will not work in the same field. You can have the portal and content under the same House of wls and install a new one for the user interface.

    This is due to a problem with ADF and WCC libraries.

    With 12 c, this dependence is not there, and you can install / configure all 3 (Portal, content and adf ui) applications on the same domain.

    A set of hotfix update is a minor release so will not involve the upgrade to 11.2.0.3 or 11.2.0.4.  Once you have the last applied PSU, you can tell listeners that you do not have the last power supply.

    As stated earlier the July 2011 PSU is the final version for 11.2.0.1 is the last of them, you can apply without upgrading to a newer version.

  • Patching host with Host Update Utility

    I have a clean install of ESXi 171294 (VMware image) and I ran the Host Update Utility for the first time. Three plots have shown (see image) and my question is whether it is necessary to install the two patches firmware (2009-07-09 and 2009-08-06) or just the latter list (2009-08-06)?

    Is not a firmware patch a full picture of replacement, so the 2009-08-06 firmware would include the 2009-07-09 bugs?

    The host update utility will show all patches available for VMware and that apply to the selected host, as users will like to choose what patches they want to take. It is just this flexibility of selection. The utility will scan against selected patches and will tell you that can be consumed by the host that you are running.

    If you are at the level of GA 4.0 then it will show the two patches published so far if necessary, you can choose which you want to apply based on the identified patches in the respective articles of the patches. Each released hotfix will have an article explaining how fix it, so let say < X > patch fixes issue A and B and < Y > corrective patch question A, B and c. is released after x, but the user may not want the extra difficulty C so he can always go to patch < X >.

    I have a problem and would like to have your advice.
    I currently have my DB 10.2.0.3 put us on AIX 5.3 and exact patch level is

    Oracle Database 10g 10.2.0.1.0
    Oracle Database 10g Release 2 Patch Set 2 10.2.0.3.0
    There are 2 products in this House of Oracle.

    My application provider advises me that my patch on AIX level must be equivalent to the following windows patch level.

    "ORACLE 10.2.0.3 PATCH BUG 8 FOR MICROSOFT WINDOWS, Chapter 1. 32 BIT"; Oracle Metalink patch number is 6116131.

    According to the Metalink notes Critical Patch Update availability for Oracle and Middleware server information for product ID 432873.1* the equivalent of the patch 6116131 for Windows is 6079591 for AIX5L.

    I was looking for a patch of database being upgraded. After the database owner (enviroment) to supply file, I used the following command from $ORACLE_RDBMS_HOME/OPatch directory, command like $ OPatch lsinventory, he listed all the patches and updated patch also.

    'OPatch lsinventory' must list all patches applied to $RDBMS_ORACLE_HOME. For the level of database of the Group of hotfixes, you can use one of the instructions above to get the version. In addition, you can check to the BONE by running executable files (i.e. sqlplus, impdb... etc).

    And on request, I used-> -use $AD_TOP/sql/adutconf.sql , it is perfectly correct.

    But I can't go through of OAM,-diagnostics of Applications using, you can guide me. When I select plan of the site-diagnosis & repair - run diagnostic tests, it error. Say year error has occurred!

    Diagnostics of applications can be run from "Oracle Diagnostic Tool".

  • The Toshiba registry patch update and Toshiba disc creator issues

    I do not understand how the registry patch update, I downloaded and extracted the update, as requested in a temporary folder, but there is no setup install and I'm sure I didn't install anything, unless the system is installed itself without asking me. I want to know how this registry patch works and how it is installed.

    And the creator of disc has lost more than 15 DVDs with the same error code 380381-26-2A030C00. I don't know what to do about this, I tried microsoft solve this software and remove the upper and lower filters in the registry but still I can not burn CD

    On the page of the European driver Toshiba, I have found a few patches as patch recovery.
    But it's registry Patch for the restoration of the system.
    After downloading the zip file, you should unpack this package, then you will find an exe file, this file must be decompressed also! Right-click on this file and select unpack here.
    Now, you should find a few other files and folders should be an install.exe

    However, in your case I would recommend testing another disc as DVD-R from different manufacturers as TDK
    I use DVD R and never had any problems with these discs

  • Problem with the Patch CS6 tool

    When I use the Photoshop CS6 patch tool, it keeps the selected area selected after having patched.
