Down outdated graphics card

When I open Illustrator I get a pop up saying "your graphics card drivers are not updated. For optimal graphics performance, update your software to the latest version drivers and restart illustrator. "but I checked and my graphics card drivers are up-to-date, and what is more frustration, it's whenever I go to open a new blank page Illustrator will stop work and accidents. I tried to uninstall and reinstall illustrator but that doesn't seem to help. What can solve this problem?

Tyler,

I think that the problem should be solved with the new patch/update, 19.1 (what giives you 2015.1 CC), which should solve known unresolved problems with 19.0.1, who had to deal with issues GPU and a few others...

If she does not appear, disconnect and then reconnect the creative cloud application. After that, the 19.1 update must be visible in the creative application of Cloud.

Otherwise, you can try to switch between GPU and CPU by pressing Ctrl / Cmd + E, or you try disabling GPU performance by clicking on the icon of the rocket in the bar of the App, or on the top of the menu bar, deselect the box Performance GPU. You may also uncheck performance GPU in your preferences.

I was just searching the site of alienware by looking at the computer I just purchased and realized that they have updated the model graphics since a 645 to 745 and I was just curious to know if it was possible to send my current desktop (x 51 with a 645) to dell and replace my outdated (still under warranty) graphics card.

It is not possible. We do not have a service upgrade. If you are inside the first 30 days of the invoice date, you can contact Customer Service and restore the system to Dell credit or a refund. Then buy the X 51 - R2 with the video card.

  • HP Pavilion 222ur-550 T1H38EA: graphics card update

    Hello!

I recently bought a HP Pavilion 550 - 222ur and found out that the default graphics card (GeForce GT 730) is less efficient in most of the games. So I want to get a more powerful (thought mini GeForce GTX 750 Ti or Asus GeForce GTX 950). While researching the possibility of upgrade, I discovered that some graphics cards may not work on the PC of HP brand due to a BIOS issue. So the question is: will be mentioned in this workstation graphics cards? And if these cards are compatible, I'll have to get better food, as well, no? Thanks in advance.

    @Rilarn

    # You can improve it.

The ASUS GEFORCE® GTX 950 Mini would be a good candidate for the upgrade.  You can use cards PCIe x 16 UEFI based because your PC is post 2012. It doesn't have a legacy BIOS.  You should disable the start safe in the BIOS feature.

You can update the graphics card and the power supply end up with a decent gaming machine, if that is your goal.

Be aware that it will not compete with machines that are DIY built by amateurs or games machines made by the best companies of PC.

  • New graphics card for Dimension 4600i?

Hello... I just upgraded my monitor to a 20 "Dell E207WFP (wide flat screen). I still have the original Nvidia Ge Force FX 5200. Although I downloaded the updated drivers from Nvidia so that I was able to set the resolution 1680 x 1050 (which is what Dell recommends), things just don't look right. I adjusted the resolution which only makes it worse and adjust the sizes of police & such, but I suspect it's because of my outdated graphics card.

My pc is mainly used for the Basic Home Office, photo editing, and sometimes my daughter play a game or two.

Any suggestions on a good map that is appropriate for the type of pc that I use? In addition, they are difficult to install? I'm not a novice on disassemble my pc for cleaning and installing memory, but I don't want to do it myself if it is a difficult task to replace the lucky card.

  • Satellite Pro P100 - cable had burned down due to a faulty graphics card

    Hello
I have a problem with my Satellite Pro P100 where to win t start, including trying to restart without the battery.

I took it for repairers who managed to get it working again. They said a cable leading to the screen had to be replaced with requiring a General Service Officer, as it has been clogged up with dust.

However once I got it home it works ok, but when I tried to access the options for Nvidia graphics display an error message came upward, which suggests that I have maybe need to install a driver of cassis, which I did immediately and restart the computer the problem has reappeared, computer wouldn't boot.
I brought for repairs for the second time and they said the cable had burned down again because of a faulty graphics card and would cost a lot to replace.

If someone has had this problem, it is possible to have just the graphics card replaced without replacing the motherboard and it is likely that the motherboard is too damaged.

You will appreciate all the comments/tips

Strange, but I think that there is no other way to replace the motherboard.
The graphic card it s soldered on the motherboard if the entire motherboard must be exchanged.

I know that's not good news for you buddy but if the graphics card is faulty, it should be replaced. :(

  • Display upside down. Whenever I'm correct in my graphics card frame. But when I reboot, the display becomes upside.

When I turn on my computer, the screen will go up properly, then momentarily black out and descended on again once backwards.  I can access my graphics card in "Screen" on the control panel and turn it to the correct position. But every time that I reboot the display will again be upside.  I suspect a virus. I ran my anti-virus. There are no infected files.

Somehow, I think that the technical support engineers Microsoft if you uninstall your drivers, when you restart, XP will somehow magically understand what you need and install it for you.  It's just not the way it works is this.  If they were really going to try their own advice, they know how things work (or not).

The free MBAM should clean not just a "small part" - you need to clean anything it finds and at least we found things.  You can run again and make sure that it is clean.

SAS will probably find just a bunch of tracking cookies, but sometimes finds things MBAM will miss.  Together, they are a good combo.

Your stuff looks right to me and I would say you don't have a XP problem - you have a NVIDIA problem.

One thing you can do (if you do not already have is to go to the page of GeForce, click drivers and let it auto-detect your GPU and see if it has something new for you.

If your stuff was working fine before, what do you think might have changed since the last time it worked correctly?  MS updates came out on 11/08/2011 but if you got your video drivers from NVIDIA, you would think they would be fine.

If after that you still have a problem, they have a very active community forum where I bet that if you post your msinfo32 info (as you did here) and tell them the problem, someone out there will know what to do about this, because I don't really know...

    @Storuu

Yes, it works with a motherboard that has UEFI.  However, HP has their motherboards made to their specifications and is not the same as the commercial versions.  It is difficult to find a motherboard that has holes to match the accessory in the case.  In addition, the connectors in the case aren't always the same thing as retail motheboards.

Research in the internet, I found just 1 card graph similar to mine. But I don't know if it will work, because I read that the devices must be exactly the same as the original:

    c918 http://www.eBay.es/ITM/New-Toshiba-A000013050-NVIDIA-G73M-128MB-GeForce-Go-7600-Video-Graphics-Board-/360821279000?PT=PCC_Video_TV_Cards&Hash=item54029f & _uhb = 1

I asked the seller eBay on compatibility and his answer was: "Please contact Toshiba for the complete product compatibility." But Toshiba does not provide any support after the expiration of the warranty (in Spain).

Anyone replaced this graphics card? Do you think I should buy the graphics card of this ebay? Are there other solutions? (for example: replacing the entire motherboard...)

    Thanks a lot in advance.

I never had to replace a graphics card in a notebook, but I wouldn't buy any part if I m not 100% sure if it would be compatible with my laptop.

Is that SATELLITE P100-342 was equipped with a NVIDIA GeForce Go 7600 (name of code G73M) PCI Express x 16 (GDDR2 dedicated 256 GB RAM) graphics card.

The part on ebay supports 128 MB only and that's why I think that the two parties are not the same.
This might be the reason not to buy this piece.

  • Satellite P200 accidents + message: graphic card driver does not work properly

    Hello

hope that this issue has not been covered before, but I've owned a Satellite P200 for 3 years now, and this week, it crashes all the time.

When it started going down he gave me a few messages in the sense of "your graphics card/driver does not work properly and windows will be arrested to avoid damage.

It has progressed to the point where now when I turn it on, I have vertical lines running down the screen and the screen flashes on and outside. Within 20 seconds, it restores the BSOD - 'there was a problem and windows will be arrested. Error Page_Fault_In_Non_Paged_Area"then stops.

I ran a system restore but the problem remains.

I have a feeling that my graphics card is toast. Is this good? Are there any other options to try? Thanks in advance for any answers.

    Matt

    Hello

    Sounds like the GPU problem.
But try the graphics card driver update.
Use the most recent driver for your graphics card.

In addition, clean the fans of portable computers.
Dust and debris could prevent the cooling fans to turn with the best speed and this could lead to a higher temperature which would lead to overheating.
Use a jet of compressed air. I also use it and it helps to get rid of dust and debris.

If this is not enough, then a problem of graphics chip would be possible.

So I got this computer by a neighbour who has moved recently. He went about its appearance and shape in big enough but its alittle outdated. especially I would like to know what type of graphics card is best for this computer because it is a type of SFF.

I would also like to know bonus how much GB of memory, I can max this out at?

    Thanks for the help.

    Hello:

I would recommend the Radeon HD 6450 low profile card with low profile mounting support for this model, which, incidentally, is a 6005 pro, not a Pro 6500.

HP is currently only 6300 Pro Series competition.

Personally, I like the fanless models but in a SFF case, according to me, that you really do need a fan to push the heat out of there more quickly that a passive heat sink can, but it's up to you.

These video cards are optionally on the HP SFF equipments 6200 Pro that has the same 240 W P/S as yours.

    You can install up to 4 x 4 GB (16 GB) PC3-10600.  DDR3-1333 Mhz

  • Satellite L755 - 1HW screen covered bulk green / missing graphics card

    Satellite L755 - 1HW
    Part number: PSK1WE 0U0009EN

I recently bought a Satellite L755 with integrated nVidia graphics card. The screen had recently pink/green tint everything except a cm Strip flooring upstairs.

This makes it impossible to tell the difference between the red and the black. It also has an effect of streaks on darker or lighter blocks, going up and down the screen.

For some reason, it can detect is more the graphics card and I can't download the new drivers as long as it does not detect the card. I tried the system restore and the first time I did the color returned to normal for a short period. Since then, the question remained regardless of what efforts, I undertook to solve the problem.

Unfortunately, after I lost the receipt, I can not simply return it. It is only around the age of 3 months and therefore should not be seen this kind of problems. Any ideas?

    Hello

I'm not very well if it is a driver problem m more like GPU problem or display
You can see the same symptoms on the external monitor attached to laptop?
If Yes, then I would say that its number of graphics chip

  • Problems with the graphics card on Satellite Pro M10

Hi, this is my first post on the forum. I'm not a pro with computers or anything... the problem I have with my laptop is similar to the one in this thread:

    http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=26849&TSTART=0

I spent half the day trying to figure out if my graphics card is broken, but since I'm a newbie with this stuff, I'm still not sure. :(

This is what makes my M10. I'm trying to describe the symptoms that detailed as possible, but I'm German, so please excuse my lack of words in some places.

    1. when I turn it on, the laptop goes through the BIOS and give me scrambled BACK-screens and a slightly Warped windows loading bar. There is the consistency check, marked by black bars connecting the top of the screen down. After the audit, the screen goes black and nothing happens, or the screen of will just show me consistency check, do nothing. Be that as it may, I have to turn off the power (I think) and restart the laptop.

    2. sometimes the laptop goes through the BIOS checking & conistency with a few graphical shortcomings. The office is anything but shredded when he gets to the screen of the Windows user. The static method is if serious I don't even know where is the button turn off.

    3. sometimes Notepad starts very well, with the only graphic problem being the windows loading bar. When I go into Windows, the laptop pulls me a blue screen and stops immediately.

    4. sometimes, the laptop works fine for about an hour or two. After I rebooted, I have the same problems listed above, once again.

    5. If I open Device Manager and disable the graphics card, the laptop works very well. I have to lower the screen resolution and colors, but I can watch videos on youtube and everything. Finally, the laptop gets very hot on the bottom and the screen goes crazy again, so I turn the damn thing off.

I don't know what that means! If my graphics card is broken, the screen should be all static, ALL the time? Not just sometimes more,... could sometimes less be some sort of communication problem between the graphics card and cpu? Please help me with this!

Another thing I'm not sure about, even after reading the thread I linked above - can I replace the graphics card or not? Everyone said something different in the other thread...

    see you soon,
    Cozmo

Edit: maybe I will add when I got the screen scrambled and everything. I installed Civilization 4, just to check if my satellite pro can handle, and everything went well for a while. The screen then haywire and I rebuilt my whole system, but display problems did not disappear completely. They were gone for almost a month, and now they are 'back' or something.

    Hi Cozmo

I'm not a technician but here nobody needs technical knowledge to see that there certainly is hardware problem. I also believe that this problem occurs due to the graphics card. Graphics card is part of the motherboard and it cannot be traded separately. The entire motherboard must be exchanged.

In my opinion, you have two options: either contact the authorized service provider in your country and speak with them, what can be done, or try to get the motherboard used. If you are lucky, you can find it on eBay. I already bought several hardware components for my old Satellite P10 on eBay.

Sorry Cozmo but I do not see any other logical solution for you.

    Good luck!

  • Need the latest drivers for the graphics card for Satellite Pro M70

I have had this PC for a few months now and I was disappointed to hear that my drivers are WAY outdated. The only drivers I can find are here and they are only something v.8 (although the game reads this as an older version).

The problem comes when I want to play games like Half Life 2 and CSS, the game crashes because these drivers are up-to-date. Where can I get the LATEST drivers for the ATI Mobility Radeon x 700 for the Toshiba M70 Pro card?

    Hello

You can check the different graphics drivers form the papers that were delivered with the same graphic card as your Satellite M70 Pro.

Further, you can view different websites which also offers some graphics drivers, for example the site omegadrivers.net.

    Please note:
According to several threads here in the forum of the graphics driver installation non-Toshiba is at your own risk!
