It seems that the drivers on your site take support windows 8.1

I get off my laptop to windows 7 ultimate. Where can I find drivers for windows 7? Help me please

What is the answer to my question?

First, you must download the latest drivers.

If it's an Executive file, you can install it by double-clicking the file simply.

If it is a zip file and you do not find an installer in the archive, you can install the driver by the following tools below:

1. go to control panel and open the Device Manager.

2. find the device that you are installing a driver

3. right click on the device, and then select Properties.

4. Select the driver tab, and then click the Update Driver button.

5. choose Browse my computer for software driver.

6 let me pick from a list of device on my computer drivers

7. look for the driver .inf file. Open and Next.

8. the driver will be installed.

  • I bought a Windows 7 Professional key and I have Windows 7 Ultimate. Help please.

I bought a Windows 7 Pro key and I can't activate Windows Ultimate. What can I do?

A product key Windows 7 Professional is impossible to activate Windows 7 Ultimate.

If you have your drive of Windows 7 Professional, you can try to downgrade:

    http://techingiteasy.WordPress.com/2012/05/12/how-to-downgrade-Windows-7-editions/

If not, try to get the right install media, then perform a custom installation:

For 5 years, Microsoft made it fairly easy for users of the Windows 7 operating system to get reinstall media. If you have lost your support disc or installation retail collection; either it has been damaged or defective; You can download a copy of the edition that you have licensed from a membership site called Digital River. More recently, Microsoft ended the availability to reinstall media that you can download as a. File ISO in Digital River, which is a digital reproduction of an optical disc.

It was particularly convenient for people who could not easily get the manufacturer's recovery media, did not want to pay the fees required to get or preferred a clean configuration without the software packaged manufacturers or even a recovery partition does not work. It's easy to use, all you had to do was reinstall and reactivate using the product key located on the certificate of authenticity and download all the drivers on the manufacturers website.

Given that this option is no longer available, what are your options? See the article for more details:

You can't do a upgrade direct from Home Premium to Ultimate, you can use the upgrade Express by using the product key existing.

If the license for Windows 7 Ultimate, you have access to is a retail version update or complete, you can use the product key and the Express upgrade to Windows 7 Home Premium to Windows 7 Ultimate. First of all, check that the edition of Windows 7, you are upgrading is already enabled (if it isn't, you will encounter complications and that you might start all by performing a clean installation). Click Start, type Anytime Upgrade, click on the option enter a key, enter the key of Windows 7 Ultimate edition at the request, click Next, wait while checking the key, accept the license agreement, click on upgrade, wait while the software upgrades, (it may take 10 minutes or more depending on the if updates are required) your computer restarts automatically, after the reboot, Windows 7 will notify you updating the computer, the computer will restart once more automatically and will be completed the upgrade, a window will appear notifying the upgrade was successful and your computer is ready to use, click Close, you should be upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate files the stored settings and programs.

    Windows 7 Anytime Upgrade fails:

If your getting the following: error: Windows Anytime Upgrade failed

  • Pavilion Dv4000: Windows 7 wireless driver help!

Guys, I really need your figureing helps it to...

My friends machine needed some TLC... so I formatted and reinstalled the Windows 7 operating system.

I went to the HP support for pilots page and there are only drivers XP Win.

In "Device Manager", it shows the following drivers requiring.

    Mass storage controller
    Multimedia Audio Controller
    Network controller
    Video controller

    The problem...

I simply can't the wireless to work for love nor money!

I downloaded and installed (a) different drivers for the wireless device. When they have been installed successfully, I'm supposed to be able to see a network to connect to diffuse all SSID wireless & Pick-up. I could not make it work! It worked once then stopped working again after it restarts as if this isn't retatining the driver for the wireless card. its really weird!

    Performed troubleshooting.

    • Downloaded the drivers for the wireless card and run them in compatibility mode (Win XP SP3) & installed.
    • Rebooted the machine. and the Wi - fi icon beside the clock has a red x through it, as it that the device is not enabled.
    • verified that the wifi was enabled. (what it was)
    • check that the pilot has been allowed within 'Device Manager' (it's still) drivers Displaying the "Intel 2200BG.
    • but still the Wifi symbol in the taskbar shows Red Cross or disabled marker on it.
    • Tried to install other Wifi drivers for the device of Intel 2200BG from other sites, including Intel. Restart, charges the driver installation (after removing the previous version) still nothing! same thing!
    • Tried to use the Intel utility to find the update and install the Wireless driver. (again same result).

It seems that Windows 7 accepts the driver Intel Pro / Wireless 2200BG, but somehow somewhere to turn off the device in Windows 7.  How does it can disable a device but see that the device is installed and works unless you are a doubtful driver?

Somehow, I managed to make it work for a while and connected to my wireless router. not a problem, then once the machine has been rebooted im at square one again!

thinking that might be something wrong with the registry systems or material etc... I then

    • Formatted the hard drive again for the 2nd time.
    • Re-installed the card WiFi on the laptop, checked the connections were seated correctly
    • re-installed the operating system Windows 7 again.
    • before applying any other drivers on the system I tried to reinstall the driver from the HP website (just to remove it may be a conflict driver with another thing. yet once always the same thing.

I spent hours on it now... and im at the point where I'm ready to run my friends laptop out the window and get extremely violent with her! I never met this before all the time, I played with computers. so I need someone to point out where im going wrong here. It's seriously making me crazy!

I have attached a picture of this post, I hope that's clear enough for you to see that bar Wi - Fi symbol and the pilot agreed to "Device Manager".

If anyone knows what drivers I can use for the rest of the devices, Audio, video (especially video and Wifi) and mass storage device would be much appreciated. There is still plenty of life in the old courbine of a machine and will make my boyfriend a good turn.
    • Someone please enlighten us on that until I lose the will to live!
    • Thanks in advance.

      Street

    You are the very welcome.

I see that the multimedia audio controller device has been installed and that means you should have sound there.

I already give you the driver for the mass storage controller (this is the card reader).

    Yes this is useful.

The graphics in this model is not quite able to market Vista or W7.  Quite capable, I mean he can't run Windows Aero.

There is that one driver in the world that has any chance of working for the graphics, it's this one... After installing this driver, you will be able to change the screen resolution and graphics acceleration is enabled.

    You must install it manually.

Download and run this driver.  You will probably get an error not supported operating system.

    http://h20565.www2.HP.com/hpsc/SWD/public/detail?sp4ts.Oid=447304 & swItemId = ob_47264_1 & swEnvOid = 2096

    Conclusion of any windows error.

Go to Device Manager and click on the video controller requiring driver.

Click the driver tab.  Click on set to update driver.  Select her browse my computer for driver software option and find the folder of the driver that was created when you ran the file.

This file will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp34749.

Make sure that the include subfolders is selected, and the driver should install.

Reboot and the graphics should work just fine, but not Aero.

  • Upgrade of Vista Home Premium to Windows 7 Ultimate

Can I switch from Vista Home Premium to Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit?

    Upgrade paths:
When important changes to your computer, for example an upgrade, it is always recommended that you back up your system before installing a new version of Windows. In your case, you can upgrade to Windows 7 depending on the edition and the architecture of Windows Vista, you have installed. If you are running a 32-bit version of Vista and upgrade to a 64-bit (Windows 7 edition) version, you'll have a pure make install, it is the opposite case.

If you are using Windows Vista Home Basic or Premium consumer editions, you can only upgrade to Windows 7 Home Premium or Ultimate. In addition, you can make downgrades, which means, if you are running Windows Vista Ultimate Edition now, you cannot downgrade to Windows 7 Home Premium. You perform logical upgrades:

Windows Vista Home Basic > Windows 7 Home Basic, Premium or Ultimate
Windows Vista Edition Home Premium > Windows 7 Home Premium or Ultimate
Windows Vista Business > Windows 7 Professional, enterprise or ultimate edition
Windows Vista Business > Windows 7 Enterprise
Windows Vista Ultimate > Windows 7 Ultimate.

Also run the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor:
    http://www.Microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=1b544e90-7659-4BD9-9e51-2497c146af15&displaylang=en

This will check your system for compatibility issues before making the upgrade so that you can resolve.

Releasing it's easy: with Windows | ActiveWin | Laptops | Microsoft MVP

  • Pavilion a6220n Ethernet Controller Driver for Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit

I upgraded from 32 bit Vista to Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit and the driver for the Ethernet controller is missing.  Can someone help me locate a compatible driver?

    Thank you very much!!

    Hello:

    This has me buffaloed.

According to the specifications of your system, you have the Gigabit Intel 82566DC-2 network connection.

OK, this is my last chance. If this does not work, I don't know what to tell you...

I took the driver file and extract the files in a compressed folder, I named the network drivers. I downloaded on my space Skydrive Ms.

Download the file, Unzip it and make sure that you take note where you saved to. It should record in your downloads folder in Windows 7.

Now, click your network adapter in Device Manager, click on update driver driver. Select the browse my computer for the software option. Navigate to the folder that you have unpacked with network drivers and see if it loads the drivers then. If not, I give up.

  • Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit reinstall what I do with windows.old?

I bought a "UPDATE" Windows 7 Ultimate drive some time ago and already just used the element of UPGRADE to upgrade from the Desktop installed and purchased Wnidows VISTA OS.

For some time I had problems with BSOD on the desktop. I decided to reinstall WINDOWS 7 Ultimate 64-bit using the CUSTOM option, which I think would be to completely erase the hard drive.

Until I reinstalled it, I made sure I ran Windows 7 Easy Transfer to copy on more than 312 GB of documents, photos and music on my external HARD drive. To make sure that I had all other archived data I also copied manually essential to other external HARD drives files just to be sure I won't lose my data.

I then ran the windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit re - install using the CUSTOM method, and it appeared to reinstall correctly, although there were a number of old files left on drive C (and it has not changed the name of the drive C either, I did later). This suggests that he did not "sweep" the C drive,

However, once the reinstallation of Windows 7 over, I noticed that he had left a WINDOWS. OLD folder on my PC. It seems to contain all the old data Wnidows and the USER records and files.

It takes about 350 GB of HARD drive space, I'm wanting to delete. After all, surely my WINDOWS 7 Easy Transfer program copied all my data back once again? It seems though that in my 'new' windows folder, I see all my files.

Why should I keep the WINDOWS. OLD folder? After all I only reinstall WINDOWS 7 on the previous WINDOWS 7 operating system. My VISTA operating system, (as far as I can tell) no longer seems to be present.

It seems to me (from my limited knowledge) that the office works very well and I have since reinstalled OFFICE and other programs without any problems. In addition, updates to the operating system and the software downloaded and installed without problem.

    Thank you very much

    Rafael Poggi

P.S.: I now understand why there are so many people happy with Lenovo ThinkPads, they are formidable power tools...

    Hi fafelpoggi!

Yes Windows Ultimate is supported by the X201T.

In many countries, you can upgrade professional to ultimate online using Microsoft upgrade Express. However you cannot make Bolivia online, so that you will have to buy a license key from a store. The software is already on your system, and allows him just need the key and takes ten minutes or so.

  • Need to reinstall Windows 7 Ultimate but only have Windows 7 Home Premium

I upgraded to 7 ultimate on a moth ago, but then my hard drive went out, my new hard drive had home premium, when I contacted microsoft to get my ultimate reassembled, they sent me to Omnitechsupport, which went to charge me $ 140,00 to reinstall, and then they keep telling me that they cannot do without a flash drive , or they need of my confirmation e-mail, even if I gave them my Microsoft customer number which clearly shows I paid for the program, I also gave them my old upgrade key, these people are nothing but extort you for more money at every turn and I still haven't got my ultimate reinstalled!

If all you did was change the hard drive, all you need to do was use your Windows 7 Ultimate drive and reinstall Windows 7 on the new drive and reactivate by phone:

  • Can I downgrade from Windows 7 Starter to Windows XP Professional

QUESTIONS: 1) can I demote a machine Win7 Starter purchased through package of retail full license, never installed, XP Pro OS?  Assume that both are 32-bit.  I was thinking of buying one of these netbooks cheap in Walmart stores that are Windows 7 upgrade option to Windows 8 (which I do not wish to use), and experiment.  If Win7 is proving to be as disastrous as I wait, I want to install a new copy of the new detail of full XP Pro including Service Pack 3 (which has never been installed on any computer), to downgrade from Windows 7. I've never used in triplicate.
The machine is Acer Aspire One with Windows 7 Starter edition, on sale at Walmart for only $228.  They have other editions of Windows, I could buy instead, if the Starter Edition is not eligible for a downgrade.
    2) do you anticipate problems of license?  Do not talk about compatibility, as that varies depending on the machine.  It's just that the installation with MS products is always also annoying complicated and always associated with a licensing problem.  I can't guess at what these problems are, they are never what I expect.  Where the question.
Backstory: I am wary of XP Professional updating to Windows 7, due to the many people experience incompatibilities.  I ran the Win7 Upgrade Advisor, and he has not yet detected what third-party software was running on my machine in his analysis, other than common programs of MS and stuff from the internet.  So I have ZERO faith it will be compatible with my XP software current and material, so 32-bit (which I use now), or 64-bit (which one of my machines can take in charge, but instead, 32-bit XP Prof OS is installed and running).
It cost me about $100K of my time to switch to XP, in 2005; I just went through two own XP installed on two of my other machines.  Recovery was not possible.  Cost me three months of my life, these facilities.  Wouldn't do it again.  It is unnecessarily complex.
So I have to check the effectiveness of Win7.  And if she is not enough justify using, as I hope - I have a lot of detail that new (well, once again) never used XP Professional OS bought in a store, that I can use to downgrade.  ("not OEM, not upgrade or academic, etc. so the full XP license is valid for each packet.)  I understand very well that support ends in April 2014 and don't care if it stops.  What I care about is running my business that threatens to Win7, because it changes the interface and eliminates a bunch of features that have been very productive in XP Pro.
Of course, my impressions have not been tested on a live installation.  ERGO this post.  For me, it's a $100,000 decision, because it is the cost of my time if I deploy Win7.  Sorry for ranting, but I need to explain the reasons for downgrading in context.  Thank you for your time!

I guess I do not understand you. If you have a version of Xp retail packaging, you can install it on any computer you want. Nothing MS or anyone else can say about it.

As others have noted you might encounter a driver for some of your hardware problem is not not compatible wth Xp. The only way to know for sure, or I should say the best way, is to install Xp and discover.

If it was me I would make sure that the computer has a restore disk or a partition to reinstall Win 7 if Xp didn't work. If none of those who were present I would clone the drive hard while Win 7 was still about this. Better safe than sorry.

Finally, I would make sure that I got a usb Ethernet card so that you could make sure you have the ability to connect when the net card driver was not installed with Xp...
