Need to reinstall Windows 7 Ultimate but only have Windows 7 Home Premium

I upgraded to 7 ultimate on a moth ago, but then my hard drive went out, my new hard drive had home premium, when I contacted microsoft to get my ultimate reassembled, they sent me to Omnitechsupport, which went to charge me $ 140,00 to reinstall, and then they keep telling me that they cannot do without a flash drive , or they need of my confirmation e-mail, even if I gave them my Microsoft customer number which clearly shows I paid for the program, I also gave them my old upgrade key, these people are nothing but extort you for more money at every turn and I still haven't got my ultimate reinstalled!

If all you did was change the hard drive, all you need to do was use your Windows 7 Ultimate drive and reinstall Windows 7 on the new drive and reactivate by phone:

  • I need to reinstall Windows Vista home Premium, but I don't have it on the disc, I got a serial number.

I've upgraded to windows 7, the upgrade requires a previous version of windows must be installed before it can be used.

When I installed the upgrade first, it worked perfectly, unfortunately I do not have a set of recovery discs before upgradeing from Vista to 7 (stupid I know!).

I bought the components to upgrade my PC and want to reinstall windows, but cannot without Windows Vista Home Premium disc, and I can't find anywhere to download them, or find someone willing to let me copy their discs (I only need a copy discs, I have my own serial number).

True to form, I also forgot to make disks of backup to my laptop before it got a virus (edition windows Home premium), feeling very stupid.

If anyone knows where I can get copies of these discs, it would releive a lot of stress.

That you have a legable Vista product key, then use these installation files to make a .iso and then bootable DVD/USB as shown here:

    http://en.community.Dell.com/support-forums/software-OS/w/microsoft_os/Microsoft-Windows-and-Microsoft-Office-downloads.aspx

This will install Windows Vista with the activation of the phone. Note using your Windows 7 update product key directly with the good Windows 7 .iso file directly should work and you should not need to install Vista. You can, or perhaps not to activate by phone.

  • Need to reinstall Windows 7 Home Premium (links are down)

You have a problem here. My laptop was pre installed with windows 7 Home premium.  And, he has been infected with the virus. I tried to update using samsung recovery program and will end up being crushed. You have no recovery disk or USB. Searching through Internet, but the links are all down. I know that these days people prefer to use windows 8, but I prefer this windows. Hope someone can provide me with new link. It is windows 7 Home premium 64-bit OA SEA. And I have the product key. No worries.

    Hello

Check with support from Samsung and their documentation online. They allow the recovery and
clean if necessary installation media. Which should be at low cost since you already own windows.

You mean reinstall the OS completely? If you have the Windows 7 DVD you can do however
don't forget to completely backup your data off the drive, and you need to reinstall your programs. If you
don't have Windows 7 disks, you can buy them in your machine to cheap system. If you don't like
on existing programs then you can do a complete new installation - just select the format options
which erases the entire disc (This erases all data as well).

Some system manufacturers use Partitions of recovery as well as other methods to allow you to return
Back to a completely new installation. So check with your system manufacturer to see what options
you need to do - and certainly do - just a question of the process of the
Manufacturer of the system put in place for you.

  • Reinstall Windows Vista Home Premium without CD (broken CD player)

My mother needs to reinstall Windows Vista Home Premium on a HP Pavilion, but cannot use the CD because the CD player is broken. I read that there is a way to make it through a hidden partition, but I did find something that gives clear step by step I can follow. If someone has done what can give me a clear set of guidelines? Is it safe to use option? I remember that you try to use a hidden partition on my old Dell, but it failed and I ended up having to borrow a CD. I won't make the same mistake on his computer, where with the help of a CD is not an option.

Also, are there - other - options, such as reinstalling from a USB stick or something? If so, how do you go?

    Thank you

    May

You can only use the hidden partition option if your HP was origonally provided with a hidden restore partition. HP support for your specific model site should have the instructions.

Default you would either need to replace the failed drive, use a third party external cd drive, or depending on your HP, you can copy the complete installation cd to a USB key then boot from the USB key to install (if supported by your HP) or finally your HP with another PC on the network can install via the other PC cd drive

How can I reinstall windows 7 Home premium Dell Inspiron2320 without disc or product key

New computers that come pre-installed with Windows often have what is called a recovery partition. This is used to reinstall an operating system in the case of a system failure. • Can I reinstall Windows 7 Home Premium with a key?

Hello world. I want to reinstall my edition of Windows 7 Home Premium on my laptop of HP 2000 due to some nasty malware or false-positive accidentally that messed up my Windows 7. Here's my problem. I can't tell if my software is OEM. I tried to go to my computer properties, but because of the incident, I can't get there because of the Explorer Windows unresponsive and reboot. The sticker is a little messed up, and I can't read the last part of the product key, so I need this information to find. But if it is an OEM, can I actually reinstall Windows securely, without the key is invalid or anything? I already have a genuine version of Home Premium installed on it.

Your computer is equipped with a recovery instead of disk partition...

This is how the recovery partition is accessible

For HP, press F11 directly after switching on the device

You may need to try several times to get everything above to work. If after several attempts, you have no chance, or the machine indicates that there is no recovery partition, your only option is to contact the computer manufacturer and ask for the model recovery discs...

After the reset, you should get all the updates from Windows Update EXCEPT for hardware devices. Then, you install a good antivirus. ONLY AFTER you have done this, if you replace the stuff of backups or install anything else.

No, the key will be invalid and the recovery partition does not use the key on the COA sticker in any case. In your case, it IS an emergency key code in which case you could use an OEM disc Windows 7 credits for purposes of recovery...

  • How can I reinstall Windows 7 Home premium on my MSI FX600 OA if the recovery partition does not work?

So, I bought this laptop MSI FX600. It had Windows 7 Home premium OA (OEM I guess). It also contains a recovery partition.

After awhile, I had to reinstall windows, so I downloaded an iso of windows, put it on a USB key and reinstalled. but the product key doesn't work though I should be able to use it because it is not used by any other computer. How can I reinstall windows and activate with the product key OEM on the bottom of the laptop? somehow the recovery partition no longer works, so that will not help either. • HP Pavilion A4310F: Remove Windows 10 and reinstall Windows 7 Home Premium

I did a full install of Windows 10 yesterday and I did not all records or documents as I saved them to my external hard drive.

The problem that I ran was that my NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 has no update to win 10 and that it does not appear correctly.

My computer came with Windows 7 Home premium installed and I have the product key.

As I installed the full version on Windows 10, I can't get the computer to win 7.

I don't have a Windows 7 disc, when I bought the computer, so I need to know if I can download a copy of the Windows 7 Home Premium somewhere and use my current product key?

When the computer is again I did a set of recovery discs and I still have those... I don't know if they can help.

Any help or advice would be very helpful.  A download link would be useful as well.

Thank you in advace for your help.  Jim.

Yes the disks you did will be reinstall W7, disc 1 is bootable, then put it in the drive and restart the PC, when you see the Dell logo ESC key several times, then select your boot (cd-dvd-rom) device, it should now boot from disc 1 and start the recovery process, it is a long process, so be patient and don't do anything unless otherwise , it will restart on its own several times, do not interrupt the process.

When it is done with the recovery, there will be a screen to start to set up your user name and so on.

IWAS said the problem could be repaired and to insert the windows disk 7, who got the opportunity to repair the system automatically, I clicked Yes and told me the problem could not be fixed automatically and consult my system administrator (me). I decided to try reinstalling windows 7.i had 3/4 the way through and a pop up box says that he "could not set to the locale information offline (error 0x80fe000). So I decided to try it yourself to Microsoft answers, I read a post that said something about the boot parameters, but this person was using raid 0, incidentally mine is located at, 1 bunch of boot 2 hard drive cd rom, also have another HDD that I use at the moment (seagate barracuda 7200-12) and it works as it is defined to do. I then read another post that related to fix it manually, so I tried to run chkdsk from the command prompt in the Tools console and it says "cannot open volume for direct access" now I've exhausted my knowledge p.c. on the subject and all the posts I can fully understand. Furthermore the hard drive is now formatted.
    Please can you help me.

    Hello the lost.

Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Forum.

After reading your original post, looks like the error you encounter this "could not set the locale information offline (error 0x80fe000), you can."
try to install it on a logic instead of the main disk drie. You have two hard disks on your computer, look at and see that it is set as main and make sure that you start the installation it. I also run diagnostics on your hard drive and make sure that you are not any problems before you begin the installation.

    I hope this helps.
