Download a trial version of Indesign errors
HI I just downloaded trial version of Indesign for Windows 8.1 and received 49 error. Have tried to re - download but the same error occurs. Copy and pasted the log download - see below, it means nothing to me. Hope you can help Cathy

Do you get the error code 49 by updating InDesign CC request?
If so, follow the procedure below:
Naivgate to C: > Program Files > Adobe > Adobe InDesign CC 2014.
Open Adobe InDesign CC 2014 and locate the InDesign CC 2014 launch icon and double-click it and launch the application.
The InDesign CC 2014 once the application is launched, leaving Adobe Creative Cloud app.
InDeisgn App, click on the menu help and select updates .

I tried to download the trial version of indesign, but it never exceeded the screen of the initializer. So, I bought it and the same thing happens. Any ideas?
Just to confirm, can I ask you if you try to install Creative Cloud app inorder to download InDesign?

I have installed Download Assistant. It seems to be now way to access the Trial Version of Indesign CS 5.5. The only downloads available ate Acrobat Pro and Photoshop elements. When I get Indesign I am directed to Download Assistant.
You can download the demo version of the software through the page linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it.
Don't forget to follow the steps described in the Note: very important Instructions in the section on the pages of this site download and have cookies turned on in your browser, otherwise the download will not work correctly.

I downloaded the creative cloud but cannot download/update InDesign or Photoshop, these are the applications I want trial to purchase at a later date if it is satisfied. The error code is 49 and I retried as noted repeatedly, please advise.

My problem is that all my desktop icons disappeared and I have over all the elements in the dock is.

Please uninstall InDesign CC to your machine using the cleaning tool: use of the Adobe Creative Cloud cleaning tool to solve installation problems
After that, reinstall the product of your creative cloud desktop application.
