Download Base64?

I have an image in the format base64 as variable in the Cascades.

How can I download it as a png to the file system?

    Hello Manu,

    Yes, you can have several files to download in the API call like SendDocument() in the DocumentCreationInfo parameter. If you want to download base64, you can provide multiple paths:

  • And then visualize it PhoneGap/Cordova download file to the device

    I'm doing a magazine app that downloads images to the device for the magazine can be read when offline or with a bad internet connection.

    I use PhoneGap/Cordova version 3.1 with 10 of BlackBerry and plugins file and file transfer. I made a few changes to my code base that runs on Android and iOS since before he could download files on the Simulator. Ensure the directory that I wanted to save the file to exist and access to the file with the path indicated in fs.root.toURL ().

    But now that I got the files uploaded to the device I can't view. On other platforms, I was able to use theFileEntry.toURL () and set it as the source for an img tag. But for BB10 I see only an empty img tag. =/
    The specified local path is: filesystem:local:///persistent/bblogo.png

    I was searched and seen references to disabling sandbox and by saving the file on blackberry.io.shared or blackberry.io.home, but blackberry is not available for me with PhoneGap 3.1. Looking at the native documentation , that I saw that the shared path is/accounts/1000/shared but trying to browse the file system I am told that the path does not exist. (fs.root.getDirectory ('accounts') to start with).

    I have a GitHub repository with what I'm looking for here: https://github.com/gaqzi/phonegap-bb10-file-transfer-test
    The code in question is here: https://github.com/gaqzi/phonegap-bb10-file-transfer-test/blob/master/www/js/index.js#L38

    I also noticed that the size of the file when the download is complete is much larger than the actual size of the file on my computer. And the same code running on iOS I see not enough to increase the size of the file. I don't know if that has to do any.

    To try to combat the current file size wildly different I coded an image 10 x 10 pixels as Base64, she decoded on the device and saved. Now, he pointed out the same size on my computer and the device, but still can not see. The same exercise done on iOS gives me a visible image.

    For the code on the test of Base64, please see my thread Stack Overflow for this: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/19421245/blackberry-10-cordova-phonegap-3-1-filetransfer-image-do...

    I am at a loss what can I do to access the files I created, anyone has an idea?

    Hello

    The patch for the cordova file api is still ongoing. Until that of land, here is an example for download of an image and inject it into the DOM. It uses XHR, but the filetransfer plugin should work as well.

    https://gist.github.com/jeffheifetz/c1127b4d3e132ffff972

    You will need to 'blackberry.io', which is available as plugin PhoneGap/Cordova here:

    https://github.com/BlackBerry/Cordova-BlackBerry-plugins/tree/master/plugin/com.BlackBerry.IO

    The patch will automatically update toURL so that it returns the full path which has been hard-coded in the example.

  • Download image pieces bmp to xml from the web service

    You try to download a bmp, in blocks of 10,000 bytes, using a .net web service.

    I get an error because of the bmp bytes.

    How the octets must be encoded?

    XML uses utf8 text, you'll have to urlencode (base64) bytes, similar to an email.

  • Convert binary (Blob) image file to string base64 on PlayBook?

    I need to download image files of the PlayBook to a Web server.

    When you use BB10, it's pretty easy, basically just using reader.readAsBinaryString (file) to get the file as a string, encode in Base64, then send it with xml.send(fileData). Which works very well with my Z10.

    But the PlayBook seems to have its own file system that does not work the same as handling BB10. I can read the file very well with blackberry.io.file.readFile (path, pbOpenImageFile)image, but it gives me just the Blob. How can I get this Blob converted a Base64 string for sending with xml.send (fileData)?

    blackberry.utils.blobToString (blobData) doesn't seem to work, at least not with my image data (works very well with my text files however). He also apparently has a size limit that could be a problem with the images anyway.

    Is it possible to get that converted to a string in Base64 Blob?

    I have it.

    Take the idea of here something like:

    var can = document.getElementById ('canvas');
    var can.getContext ('2d') = CTX;
    var img = document.getElementById ('tweetpic');
    ctx.drawImage (img, 0, 0);
    var b64Text = can.toDataURL ();
    b64Text = b64Text.replace ("data : image/png;") Base64,', ");
    var fileData = b64Text;

    And then xml.send (fileData); as usual

  • Download on Flickr

    Does anyone know how to download photos directly to Flickr from a webworks app? The only way I can think is to send the photo to our server, first, he signed with oauth credentials of the user using PHP and then transfer it to Flickr. But I want to find a solution that does not involve sending photos on our server.

    I always did by recording the actual file on the device first, and then download it.

    I struggled for a long time (about a year) with the download of files to an OAuth service and this is the solution.  Many of the services apparently accepted images encoded in base64, but I could never work as described.

    I don't know if at the time, it was just my approach, or if it was another factor, but the solution was to save the file w/html5, then download the file and include my OAuth headers.

  • [ADF, JDev 12.1.3] Pop-up window to see the or download a PDF file that is returned by a Web service method

    Hallo,

    in a page of my web application, I need to add a button that when clicked shows a PDF in a pop-up window which enables the user to download on the PC.

    To get the file PDF, the application must call a Web service method that returns the contents of the file encoded in base64 in the body of the response. If the request does not get the file, but a stream that must be dealt with to get the file.

    Could you kindly advice me a good approach/tutorial to create this feature?

    Thank you and best regards,

    Federico

    Call your servlet ws, then convert bytes of payload in base64 and returns this as a binary stream.

    Client side, you can use af:inlineFrame component inside the af: popup to call your servlet.

    Here is example of servlet/inlineFrame part: https://technology.amis.nl/2011/07/28/adf-11g-show-pdf-in-a-popup/

  • Big base64 that image cannot be correctly converted to BLOB

    I use the script below to extract the JSON in MongoDB, analyze and then inserting it into an Oracle table.

    • The script works very well in a way that it inserts all the values correctly in the Oracle table. That includes the picture value, which is a base64 image formats and it is much longer than 32 KB.
    • The Photo column in the Appery_Photos table is of type CLOB, while the DecodedPhoto column is of type BLOB.
    • The problem lies in the line blobOriginal: = base64decode1 (Photo); line 24 , I used to decode the CLOB in BLOB. The base64decode1 function has been replaced by several functions (e.g. decode_base64 , base64DecodeClobAsBlob_plsql, base64decode , from_base64 & finally JSON_EXT. DECODER the).
    • The result was the same for each of them. In other words, the BLOB that results cannot be opened as an image using image editors (I use Oracle SQL Developer to download).
    • I checked CLOB, and I couldn't find returns in line * \n*, nor could I find spaces (only + found signs). Furthermore, I inserted the CLOB value into base64-image-converter , and the image is displayed correctly. In addition, I tried to encode the BLOB that results in base64 back in order to further validate (by using the inverse functions provided in the links above), the resultant base64 is not the same as the original at all.

  • NSX API: Download ESG SSL VPN Portal logo

    I currently use the NSX API to supply an edge on our device of NSX Manager.  I was able to do everything with the exception of downloading a custom portal logo, I have included the information from the documents below, but it does not contain what the body of the request should look like.  I feel with this information, I would be able to complete the request.  Someone had to work with it before, or anyone is VMware be able to answer this question?

    Would also be nice to see the updated documentation with how to upload files to the REST API a bit more in detail...

    Configure Portal layouts

    You can configure the web page related to the SSL VPN client layout.

    Download Logo Portal

    Download the logo of Portal from the given local path.

    Example 8-150. Download logo Portal

    Request: POST https:///API/4.0/edges//sslvpn/config/layout/images/portallogo/

    Download the Phat banner

    Download the banner of the given local path phat client. Phat banner image should in bmp format.

    Example 8-151. Download the banner phat request: POST https:///api/4.0/edges//sslvpn/config/layout/images/phatbanner

    I have tried different methods... including base64 encoded image as a body and mulipart of form data but all fail with the error below.

    HTTP status 400-

    Description The request sent by the client is syntactically incorrect.

    Sorry for the delay on this one there... replace layoutFile by banner.

  • ADF mobile: how to download a file by using the adapter remains api

    Hello

    I want to download files using the adapter. How would download files like PDFs, images (png, jpg...) etc... Some code would be appreciated.

    Thank you

    Ok

    After days of headaches, there is a way to send files using the adapter and the code above for the side server. Even if it's a big fall in mobile ADF perspective they have no api for this.

    To download a txt file, you can simply copy and paste the text file into a string and have the string supplemented with appropriate limit values and padding values ('\r\n') before and after the string.

    To transfer a binary file, you must convert the file to a base64 string, then put it in the form mentioned above.

    then you can send it as follows:

    restAdapter.send (fileString);

    Don't forget to add the appropriate headers.

    content type

    and

    definitions of values to the limits

  • How to load xml with base64 big element using sqlldr

    Hello
    I'm trying to load xml data into Oracle 10 g 2. I want to use tool standard sqlldr if possible.
    (1) I recorded my schema successfully:
    -Put the 6kbytes schema in a table
    - and
    DECLARE
    schema_txt CLOB.
    BEGIN
    SELECT the text IN schema_txt patterns;
    DBMS_XMLSCHEMA.registerschema ("uddkort.xsd", schema_txt);
    END;
    -Success: I can create table like:
    CREATE TABLE XMLTYPE XmlTest
    XMLSCHEMA 'uddkort.xsd '.
    ELEMENT 'profile '.
    ;
    -USER_XML_TABLES shows:
    XMLSCHEMA, SCHEMA_OWNER, NOM_ELEMENT, TABLE_NAME, STORAGE_TYPE
    "XMLTEST", "uddkort.xsd", "THISE", "profile", "OBJECT-RELATIONAL".

    (2) how can I load XML data into that?
    -An element of the schema is < xs: element name = "billede" type = "xs: base64Binary" minOccurs = "0" / >
    -This data field may be 10kbytes or more

    I tried many control files - search the net but no luck so far.
    Any suggestions?
    / Christmas, DK

    I regret - it seems, Miss me some basic understanding here (XBD is new to me...):

    Reread this part of the documentation on the XML to mappings of SQL types:
    http://download.Oracle.com/docs/CD/B19306_01/AppDev.102/b14259/xdb05sto.htm#sthref831

    When you save the relational storage schema object, Oracle creates SQL object types to support the underlying structure.
    In particular (see table 5-6 in the link), XS: base64Binary is mapped to a compatible SQL binary data type: RAW (default), or BLOB (if we use the annotation).

    In my example, the generated object type is:

    SQL> desc "image888_T"
     Nom                                       NULL ?   Type
     ----------------------------------------- -------- ----------------------------
     SYS_XDBPD$                                         XDB.XDB$RAW_LIST_T
     name                                               VARCHAR2(4000 CHAR)
     content                                            BLOB

    I don't understand how this can be (is) done automatically?

    When you load an XML instance in the table, the contents of the string encoded in base64 is automatically converted into format binary original and stored as a BLOB (that's works the mapping).
    Then, when you run:

    select extractvalue(t.object_value, '/image/content') from images_table t;

    It follows a BLOB column containing the original image, not the string base64, so you won't need a converter.

  • Download without using a script on the server or incoding side

    Hello

    Is it possible to download a file on a server without having to encode them in the first place or running through PHP first?

    Scenario is just once a file has been selected using the Filereference want it to download directly on my server without being written\coded and not through all the scripts on the server side.

    Possible?

    What type of encoding offer these tutorials? You can send a picture as binary data via URLRequest/URLLoader.

    If you want to you can use utilities like corelib:

    https://github.com/mikechambers/AS3corelib

    You convert your image of a ByteArray (binary) for the transfer, which is too thin you get. It has not inflated as a base64 encode if that's what do your tutorials.

    This is an old tutorial on the use of it (although they are pointing to the older corelib, same idea).

  • APEX_MAIL and attachments / base64

    Hi gurus of the APEX.

    In its request for a client, we need to send as an attachment pdf forms. APEX_MAIL has done a great job for this and we used it without any problems... until users complained that it cannot open the attached pdf document. The funny thing is that we have tested and in all messages from clients (Outlook, Thunderbird) everything works perfectly the pdf can be opened without any problem.
    Then users increasingly began to complain of this problem and what they had in common was their email addresses were on gmail.com.

    We have created a test case and managed to reproduce the behavior. Such an email was sent to a gmail address. When you try to use the gmail interface to read the mail / download / open the attachment it didn't work (the pdf file has been corrupted), but when you use Outlook or Thunderbird to open exactly the same message that it has worked well, the attached PDF could be opened without any problem.

    Looking at the source of the email, I discovered something weird, in part encoded base64 of enamel that appeared a few additional lines swamp. For example, in an email sent to APEX_MAIL we have:
