  I am currently not able to get the images to download automatically in the mail I receive on my 8220. I set up the phone to do this, but I still have to manually retrieve the images which he does very well. I have the latest version of the software on the phone and the desktop computer. I also tried a battery pull and return service directories. Nothing works. What else is there? I even treid calling my BB Tech support to the carrier and they are pretty useless. I know them (don't know what an image included is for the love of pete).

  In a formatted HTML email, you must click on Menu > get Images in order to recover the images.

  If you have Messages > Options > e-mail settings > download Images automatically set to YES, you will notice over time that some images will appear automatically (for example, weekly newsletters receive you with common images each week), but otherwise, you have to click on get Images of individual emails.

  He currently works as expected.

  I bought a used blackberry 8330 curve. works very well and I would like to download the Desktop Manager I think I could synchronize a calendar any w / this program? I tried to download it from version 4.7 of website blackberry with and without the Media Manager... same error comes after 1/2 hour download: ""C:\ProgramFiles\470_b050_english.exe is not a valid Win32 application"  I download the wrong program? I am fairly new to this kind of smartphone things, so "smartphone for Dummies" instructions would be useful. Thanks a bunch! Oh - I have windows xp edition on my laptop.

  YOU ARE AWESOME! Downloaded in 13 minutes and installed perfectly with firefox on my other computer. I think I'll just make some computers (it is newer, it's just a little more bulky)... It works very WELL... office 4.7 w / Media Manager (which I don't need anyway). I always try to understand what's happened with this computer.

  I'm working with a new 8330 and I have two email accounts set up with it, a school account that I used to read with the Entourage and the other a regular g-mail account. No problem with the latter - I get these emails fine. But with the e-mail of the school, I don't get emails on my BB until I have actually go around me and download these messages. As soon as I did that, they pay all at once. I can send emails from the BB with this account very well, but the reception is weird.

  A possible complication is that I have badly configured the account the first time, so I deleted it to repeat and correctly configure a second time. I've implemented that address as "myn[email protected]" and while BlackBerry has this folder with my BIS account e-mail address, it still appears as an option for me to send mails to this address (technically identical toMy.N[email protected] ', which is how I set up the second time).

  Any thoughts?

  After deleted and recreated the email address, do you send service books?

  Connect to your carriers BIS site and return.

• Upload/download of blackBerry Smartphones accessories

  Hello

  I'm trying to understand how to download and send attachments and from my Storm.  I'll work a situation next week, has no internet coverage, I could get if all the files that I needed were sent to me and I could then upload them to my laptop to work on it and download it again to send power off when you are finished.  Some of the files would be applications that the storm woyld not know.

  Any help would be appreciated.

  Hi and welcome to the Forums!

  As long as you don't want to edit the files on your Storm, you should be able to use the method do you propose to move files back and forth. So you can send and receive emails with attachments... all you need now is to know how to move attachments to your storm. Here are the instructions for the attachment to make your storm appear as a Flash DRIVE (or drives) on your PC:

  With this, you can save a file received (via email) on your media (for example) card and then move this file (via attached USB) on your PC. Then just reverse the process to send the file back by e-mail of your BB.

  Hi all

  I'm new here.  I received notice serveral e-mail claiming to come from a blackberry and tell me is not to remove it and the server will be 'treat' last week.  They all contain attachments which I did not open, because I don't know if they are real emails.

  Does anyone have information or an overview of these emails?

  Any help would be appreciated.

  UH... No, that's why I wrote the instructions as I did.

  On your portable computer, control panel > Add/Remove Progs > uninstall DM. restart the laptop, reinstall.

  If you have enabled HTML emails, you should be able to click on the links (I assume that you sent the http link the bookmark represents... not the file real bookmark your PC browser stores). If you don't have HTML email enabled, then the links will be not clickable.

  You need the BlackBerry data service on your line.  You will need to associate your BlackBerry with your data service account.  And the service books must be pushed and received by the device.  Sounds complicated but it isn't.   Talk to your service provider.  Make sure you have a regular signal good mobile network if you receive service books.   Then use the configuration of e-mail again and you will see the option to add the Internet e-mail.

  It is either active or not active. Looks like you are.

  The best solution for communication errors is to restart... Perform a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart.

  Get on the MTS agent's phone, or another and explain to them that THEY have to 'COMMUNICATE' this problem until the RIM level tech support, RIM technical support level two. Use these words... Ask., so require, make them do. They need to "intensify" their problem they have caused RIM to determine if RIM can UN-make their mistake.

  You pay MTS technical support with your monthly contract. Require it. Don't let them push you here where they know we cannot fix their mistake.
