  There seems to be some problems with the site of HP in the past days.

  As a workaround solution don't forget to connect the printer to your computer with a USB connection or the same network, then launch and follow the below tool, it will locate and get the drivers for your printer:

• Photosmart HP 7520: continues to receive downloads driver for a printer that I did more.

  How to stop obtaining HP drive downloads for an old printer.  I used to own a HP Photosmart 7520 printer but I replaced it with a printer HP Office Jet Pro 8710 2 months ago. I deleted all the HP programs related to the old printer and remove the printer from my list of Windows 10 printers and removed from the HP Support Assistant.

  However, I still repeatedly get updated driver for printer 7520 and it freezes the computer.

  Where do you find all download driver? Maybe in Windows Update?

  Just a guess, see if maybe the following applies:

  After the "CP1520_Series_FW_Update - 20110329.dmg" file is downloaded, it contains no files in the disk image.  Therefore, cannot proceed with the update of the firmware.

  Thanks for the heads up.  The dmg is recharged on the server.  The whole process could take a day or two.

• MrvlUsgTracking came with a download driver for my printer

  It is a t HPE-510.  I use Windows 7 SP1 64 bit.  I have both a Deskjet 3050 all in one and an aattached Laserjet P1006.

  I found a strange program, MrvlUsgTrackingOAR Windows Installer msi Package in Control Panel / programs and features.   Its location is administered by C:\hp_P1000_P1500_Full_Solution. I don't see this when I look in C/Program Files / HP Laserjet P1000_P1500.

  In fact three versions of this thing are at this place.

  I looked everywhere on the internet and a lot of people have asked about it, but nobody seemed to know anything.

  YahooMessenger.exe is not displayed when I seaarched computer in Windows Explorer.  To my knowledge, I don't have Yahoo Messenger and I have recently a clean install of Windows.  I think I know what I put on this PC since then (early March).

  Is anyone on this forum know what it is?  If nobody here knows it will uninstall after I do my monthly computer backup and see what no longer works.

  Rich, looks like you have questions about some of the program files.

  What I discovered, these seem to be the programs embedded in our software. They are software additional, optional, who belongs to the user to determine if they want that or not installed. If the software is not installed it remains hidden makes generally unfathomable. Just like when you install some software and there are optional modules that you can allow (usually as new bars for your web browser), and I think a few years ago, that HP had an add-on search bar Yahoo in our software.

  Having these on your computer should exhaust your resources or no problem for your computer daily and they absorb a very small amount of space.

  To go to the Printers folder follow these steps: click Start, Control Panel, printers, and fax machines.  This will open the Printers folder.  Now click on add printer and go from there.

  I see that you are interested in a guide to all the different copy settings and options for your Photosmart HP 5520, there is a User Guide that has information about the copy feature, you will find that here: HP Photosmart 5520 series User Guide on pages 21-24. I know you are probably looking for more information, although not available in the manual, I took the lead and went through the front for you and made a list for you, you'll find it attached (at the bottom of this post) in this way you can keep it for future reference.

  Your question is could a Windows Update may be charged a wrong Brother Printer Driver? Yes.

  One way to know is to look in the history of updates to see what has been installed and uninstall then one that seems incorrect.

  If you are an update of the Microsoft printer driver note that Microsoft updates pilot equipment for other manufacturers are not normally updated.

  Here's how to uninstall specific updates;

  If an update is the problem and stop it reinstall > list of updates to install > right click on the incorrect update > UAC prompt > and then click Hide.

  OK, Windows XP may not be as flexible in the control of what could make a user determined, but I'd suggest the following:

  Download and install the two drivers and the M551 Laserjet Enterprise 500 color printer series driver the HP Universal Print Driver for Windows PCL5.  After the printers are installed, you can rename and customize them.  I suggest you call the driver universal a "Black Printing" or something like.  Click on start, Control Panel, printers and faxes, right-click on HP PCL5 universal print, properties, General, rename the printer in a suit, a request, click the device tab settings, do scroll down to the print color Mode and Turn Off, and apply, click the general tab, the print options, chooese the appropriate default print settings (it may be desirable for this printer select EconoMode on the paper/quality tab) well.

  Even defined the parameters for the Laserjet 500 color M551 version and an appropriate name.
