  I am trying to download my Web site on the FTP host.

  FTP server, username and password (to connect to the FTP server) seem to be good.

  The question appears to the next step (Upload to FTP host): URL of the Site and folder on the server

  The first error I get is "file X does not appear to point to site X."

  When I say "Fix", it highlights the URL of the Site in red.

  When I say 'Ignore' seems to download something, but the site still does not work.

  What should I exactly put to "folder on the server?

  I expect the upload to be much easier than this.

  It is well known that in all these cases you describe I'm not a friend of a detailed diagnosis. In order to be independent in all these things is one of the reasons why I prefer an external FTP program. The difficulties with which we must fight encourage me in this opinion, especially because we are always looking for experts, we charge a 'jack of all trades '.

  To manage multiple Web sites or download my files, and sometimes for the reverse, for a necessary download from my server or use a "sync a whole site", I use FileZilla. It just seems easy for me to keep track of all transactions accurately and generate or easily reflect the desired tree structure.

  First and foremost, FileZilla has a function (translation of my German FileZilla), called 'compare the list of files. Here it is possible to use the time of size or change file as a criterion. There is also the possibility of 'hide identical files', while only those files that you want to redact remain visible.

  I tried to upload a picture on my site, but it does not load once I downloaded the live page on the FTP and fact. I tried to link the picture in the properties but this just made clickable below to display the real - but not shown on the page it is supposed to be on.

  Make sure that this this file - ms_spoint_2007cs.gif - is located in your local site folder first in the 'images' folder where your image "return_courselist_button_s3.gif".

  Then upload it to the remote server in the same folder - "images".

  Add a link to the image page and then download the page at your remote site.

  If you have downloaded the desktop version of the site before you activate the phone/Tablet layouts in your file of Muse, then I suggest that you download all the files again to the server after the export.

  In addition, if there is any reason that prevents you from using the Muse integrated FTP upload function, I advise you to download using that, since this way you'll be able to update your site gradually rather than having to download all the files every time or having to track changes and manually download only modified files.

  I have access typekit with my subscription. I need to download this site with new information, so I hope someone can help out me. Somehow the Chat helpdesk is not available when I use the contact options...

  Thank you for your answer! I fear that we may never know what caused it... I tried again this morning and the error disappeared! I have to say I've known mistakes strange before typekit. As "Typekit is not included in your package" as it is, he always worked, so I didn't bother to... Funny enough this warning disappeared, then it stopped working...   In addition, if a new Muse site fees published on the same server to another subdirectory will throw a 404 error too when you access via a mobile device, so I suspect it might be something to do with the configuration of your server. If you happen to have a for testing different hosting account/server, can you try edition to him and see if you are able to reproduce the problem?

  Also, I noticed that the homepage for example http://www.msugarman.com/index.html (which is not built in Muse) redirects automatically to a Mobile version of the site when accessed through a mobile device (and redirection does not seem to be based JS) which probably means that you have a server-side device detection and redirection mechanism in place which is most likely to come into conflict with JS based device redirection system leading to a Muse Error 404 for pages when accessed through mobile. A cookie (at the site level) is also created on your site named is_mobile with a value of 0 or 1 depending on whether the visitor has accessed a page on your site via mobile phone or desktop.

  If the above is true, I would say that the deactivation of the side server redirects for mobile devices or contact your webhost for any response on this. Let me know how it goes!

  Whenever I try to download my site created with Adobe Muse to a FTP host I always get the error message:

  Failed to connect to a PHP file. Failed to check if the web server supports PHP required by forms of the Muse. Remember the domain name entered in the dialog FTP download is correct.

  I use Godaddy/Cpanel to launch my site but I can not understand how the launch. I already bought / have the domain name and I have been through business catalyst. When I type the URL for the site it brings me to a page with a link to my cpanel, log. Don't you think that it's something wrong with Cpanel, because that's what I use to start the site? Or Cpanel is not compatible with the Muse?

  The message indicates that you are trying to use the widget for web forms in Adobe Muse and it seems that your host does not support PHP or PHP mail service.

• Impossible to download a site to a third party host server using the FTP MUSE or CuteFTP

  This is the first time I tried to use the FTP utility in MUSE to download a site to a third party server.  Whenever I get an error message: "the server responding is not in time, SFTP will not be managed on this server [Connection timed] out after 15008 millseconds.»  SFTP is specifically required by the owner of the server.  Does anyone have any ideas what is causing this problem?

• Mobile site muse does not work

  This is the second website I built and have had problems with my mobile site. The last site I have created no technician was able to resolve.  Finally, I put so many hours in that I had to create a new web site.  This current site, with that I have difficulty is having the same errors and problems.  I use a FTP via Hostgator account.  Im not sure if Muse has a problem with this hosting provider.  The site that I created was very well on BusinessCatalyst here there desktop and mobile.  but when I use my Hostgator account I put error at the point for the mobile. 500 internal Server error.  I even tried to put a mobile base with just a small paragraph site to see if he could attest that load and he couldn't.  Please help me put this site online and to avoid any future problems mobile site.

  If it works on Adobe but not on Hostgator then really go to Hostgator first... looks like the question is to their end

  -When download us the Mobile of Museto the FTP version and watch it on a phone it is-size correctly on the screen. The mobile version is launched but its 1/5 the size of the screen.

  I actually found the solution myself. The site is on Godaddy, but hosted in a subdirectory of a different domain, Flashforcast.com. That's why you got the 404 message. DavidVoxMullen.com was just using a url redirect to point to the correct file - http://www.flashforcast.com/DavidVoxMullen/index.html. If I entered the long url, the page appeared perfectly. However, the redirect has been spoil how it displayed on the screen. I had to put DavidVoxMullen.com as being a "hosted domain" within the field 'parent '. As soon as I did it, boom! It worked perfectly. I guess that simply having the redirect url stopped the javascript to run correctly.
