Download Weblogic 8.1

Does anyone have the link to download Weblogic 8.1? I couldn't find it on the oracle Web site.

One of our clients is to have the application problem using 8.1, but the application works on 10.0

Thank you

Hi Sahmed,

I'm afraid that it is impossible to get from Oracle.
I tried all the old links of BEA and they all redirect to Oracle...

The only way to do it is to contact support, or ask a sales representative... (James?  :))

Kind regards.

    Hello
Create the file boot.properties inside the C:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\domains\base_domain\servers\AdminServer\security folder, and then try to start, you won't have any problem. Please make sure that the file type for boot.properties properties.

  • Where to download Weblogic for linux 64

    Hello

Can you please provide me the link to download Weblogic for linux 64.

    Concerning

    Hi EBIT.

as far as I know, there is no version of WebLogic 10.3 is just for 64-bit Linux. You will need to install a 64-bit JVM and then download the setup of weblogic generic of http://download.oracle.com/otn/bea/weblogic/server103/server103_generic.jar (i.e. the link under the column of the HP download page).

  • need help WebLogic and eclipse

Hope this is the right place

I want to spend to weblogic 10.x of tomcat and I use Eclipse Helios.
is there a documentation that help me get started with weblogic and then use eclipse with it.

I already downloaded weblogic and was able to run the examples that comes with it and got the latest Oracle for Eclipse tools. but I know I'm missing many parts (places where I should put a file or change something in a file) because I couldn't publish Eclipse.

I appreciate things to me in the future. Also, I'm using Spring and Hibernate.

The document began following should answer most questions.

    http://www.Oracle.com/WebFolder/technetwork/tutorials/OBE/jdev/obe11jdev/11/eclipse_intro/eclipse_intro.html

To answer your question, it depends on the mode of deployment. The default deployment mode will use the source of sharing method, and it uses the location of the project workspace by creating a mapping file. In the Server view, under the publication module, you should see all projects published to the server.

Alternatively, you can also start the server view Admin Console and check all deployed applications.

    Generally, http://localhost:7001 / console

  • WebLogic 8.1

Where / how can I download weblogic 8.1 for windows server configuration.

Your BEA/Oracle support contract allows you to connect to Oracle Support and download from there.

I counted the number of support Doc that provides the links several times in this forum - which is pretty easy to find using the search.

  • Difference between Weblogic Server and Weblogic Integration

    Hello

We have a host of applications that run on the server of Weblogic 8.1.6. We plan to migrate these on Weblogic 10.3. To do this, obviously, we need upgrade the application code and the environment to 10.3.

To do this, we downloaded Weblogic Server 10.3 on the site, took a generic applications from our depot and began to follow the instructions as they were, for the upgrade 8.1.6 code to 10.3. The problem came while the code has complained that he was not able to find the com.bea.wli.bpm.proxy.JpdProxy package. He was a part of the customer jpdProxy jar file that was previously delivered in Weblogic 8.1.3 and was part of the domain of integration model.

Now, we headed to the domain to 10.3 configuration wizard and we see that we can't create a domain of integration with Weblogic Server 10.3.

So, I'd be OK if I say that for the creation of an area of integration, I need to download and install the integration of Weblogic 10.3? If so, what is the difference between these two? And why do they separate them? I searched the internet for an answer to this, but I failed. I just want to know that I * have * to use Weblogic 10.3 integration and * not * Weblogic Server 10.3 (as it comes). I think that the continuation of the integration has for that server anyway.

    Can someone please?

    Thank you

    Aditya

Yes, JPD is part of the WLI, so if these applications use JPD, you'll need to WebLogic Integration 10 gR 3.

    Dear Marcos,

I tried to use ojdbc5, ojdbc6 and classess12, but with the same result. I'm stuck with the problem. I googled a lot but in vein. In some messages, I had the idea of using weblogic.jdbc.vendor.oracle.OracleThinClob. But there is no package or a class as mentioned in "BOLD", available in weblogic.jar I get from WEBLOGIC_HOEM/lib. I downloaded weblogic 10.3 twice but still got no solution. WebLogic.jar contains no weblogic.jdbc.vendor.oracle.OracleThinClob.

I also read on the use of weblogic.jdbc.common.OracleClob to write unicode data, but I can't find this package in the weblogic.jar

    No idea it please...

It should already be on the system class path.

In my system, here it is:
    C:\Oracle\wls10gR3\modules\com.BEA.core.datasource_1.4.0.0.jar

    Found with this command:
    java-jar jarscan.jar - C:\Oracle\wls10gR3\modules-weblogic.jdbc.vendor.oracle.OracleThinClob for the class dir

    Where jarscan is here:

  • Could not open the file: oracle-maven-sync-12.1.3-0-0.jar

I'm following the instructions on this page to set up development Oracle Service Bus plugin Maven.

    https://docs.Oracle.com/cloud/latest/soacs_gs/OSBDV/OSB-Maven.htm#OSBDV88450

I am able to install the synchronization plugin, but the execution of the order to start Oracle Service Bus plugin development Maven in the Maven repository fails with this error: impossible to analyze the descriptor plugin for com.oracle.maven:oracle - 0-0 (C:\path\to\.m2\repository\com\oracle\maven\oracle-ma 0\oracle-maven-sync-12.1.3-0-0.jar): error in opening zip file.

The jar file is damaged? Might as well be, without ZIP utility is able to open it.

But it came from the site of the Oracle, when I downloaded Weblogic 12.1.3... or can there be another problem?

Thanks, it turned out that I was just using the wrong package, it was an update of 200 MB instead of the full installation file.

    If anticlimatic :-)

  • Upgrading Oracle 11 g in Oracle Application Server 10 g application server?

    Hello

I use Oracle Application Server 10g (10.1.31) now, and I want to upgrade to server applications Oracle 11 g, how do I do now?

I'm not OAS11g, but I find 11g Oracle Weblogic (10.1.36), they are same?

If they are same, I need to download weblogic 11g directly, or is it to be directly upgraded package?

    Thank you

    Hello

You can install Weblogic directly and redeploy your Application in Weblogic.

Because if you have a SOA in 10.1.3.1 then there are separate steps and if you have only OC4J, so there are different steps to install 11 g.

    Kind regards

    Prakash.
