  I'm shopping around for a provider of BB 3 G in Sydney. Telstra appears the obvious choice, but is there a best value supplier else where? I have the adapter Ericsson F3607gw on a Satellite T130 / 02 M and I think it's on the 850 MHz (sheet online based) band. However, I seem to remember that the announcement of JB Hi-Fi then (July2010) also mentioned 2100 MHz.

  Can someone advice pls real bands can use this adapter (cannot find it on the laptop), what is the top speed (and is there a way to increase the flow) and a reliable supplier. Expected use is around Sydney metro. Operating system is Win7 Pro.

• Cleaning laptop Qosmio G20 - internal

  Is it possible - and easy - open the G20 to remove dust.

  Mine is about 4 years old and has never had an own intern.
  I would suspect dust gathered on the cooling fans and they would benefit from a clean soft brush.

  It is certainly possible, but not so easy. Qosmio notebooks are certainly more complicated and without enough experience and manual of Maintenance, you shouldn't do anything.

  Computer laptop Qosmio is portable very expensive and, in my opinion, you shouldn't make such risk to take it apart yourself. Small mistake can destroy the screws or small plastic parts. Disassembly should be done by following the steps defined.

  Please don't get me wrong, but pay attention to this topic. I know that you will not be happy with my comment, but I don't want to say: do it, it's easy. And if something is not what you can do? Spare parts are expensive and can only be made so easy.

  It is not that the laptop does not support a 7200 RPM of 120 gig drive; who was the greatest, you could buy when the laptop was new so great in the specifications. As noted, laptop drives now go up to 1 TB but pay attention to what you buy. Number of drives 1 TB are either 5400 RPM or more thick (12 mm vs 9.5 mm) or both. You must have a 9.5 mm, not a 12.

  OK I will try once again to this type. The first time I tried to type this my Surface frozen without reason and had to be properly closed. OK, I'll update the RAM on my Dell Dimension 4700 and I need help and advice before I do. My Dell says it has 0.99 GB of RAM installed. I looked inside and found that there are two sticks of 512 MB of RAM. I found (2 sticks of 1 GB) 2GB of RAM for Dell Dimension 4700 at amazon.com and intend to purchase that. So when I update the RAM I get two sticks of 512 MB and replaced with new 2 sticks of 1 GB from amazon? Are there precautions should I take? (In addition to wear an anti-static wristband) Thank you.

  Before you buy, go to http://www.crucial.com/usa/en/systemscanner

  Download and run the Crucial scanner.  This will tell you:

  • supports memory of how many are in your computer
  • How much memory is in each
  • the maximum memory that can be installed on your computer and how
  • the right kind of RAM in your computer

  Do not buy crucial, but pay attention to what the scanner says that you need.

  In short, if you have only two supports from memory, then Yes, you need to remove the memory that is in them to put in new RAM.  However, just because you can buy two memory modules of 1 GB does not necessarily that your motherboard will accept them.

  A .vob is a type of video file DVD, which, as well as other types of files is used for standard DVDs. This is a special type of file video mpg, and a single .vob file will play on just a few players. If you have installed other players, first see if it will play on one of them.   defects of power supply - search the net for articles like http://www.techrepublic.com/article/learn-to-troubleshoot-power-supply-problems/ (there are many other tips) BUT PAY Attention when messing around with the power supply. Obvious care to avoid damage to the PC or worse, damaging yourself!

  viruses - there are many scanners available as http://www.malwarebytes.org/ if malware your PC is stable enough to run them. If your PC does not start there are scanners bootable, you can download it from a certain AV companies, you can start your PC and then from the scanner.

  NOTE: If you download software, download from a site deemed safe and always fully AV check on a system that works before you install or run - just to be sure.
