  If you are not able to open the Photos App images directly in Photoshop then, this is the expected behavior as App Photos does not allow for any third-party application interact with it directly.

  You must export images from the Photos App and then open in Photoshop.

My problems begin to occur when I try to download on Twitter as my profile picture. I tried downloading from my office directly on the site via google chrome. When I download the image then begins to have jagged edges and overlooks the tablets. So I thought it was some performance settings, then I tweaked them and restarted a couple of times and still the same result. He would go on my desk but when uploaded to twitter as my profile picture is horrible. So I tried emailing the image of myself and the download through my phone. I opened the image on my iphone and it seemed fine as he did on my desktop but when I downloaded the image it makes then look blurry.   I have problems with my installation of Photoshop CS6 extended 13.0. I have a large collection of fonts (more than 9000 - no joke) and Photoshop slows down bad whenever I do something that requires the use of the fonts/typing/text handling. I tried to disable the font previews. Photoshop is still too slow. I found a related thread and have additional questions about my situation:

  • Is there a way to mitigate the slowdown in Photoshop when something related to fonts?
  • Will be updated to the latest version of CS6 help? I should even try to update?
  • I have to reduce the number of fonts activated? If so, what is a good number to aim for?
  • Any advice on the management of fonts? The thread mentions Typekit - I do not have a full subscription to CC. Other tools of management of good police (preferably free) that you can recommend?

  9000 fonts?  How many people have you used last year?

  Not really sure what to tell you. Using a lot of fonts is a serious drain on system resources.  How long does Photoshop take to open?  Some time I think.

  TypeKit used to be a wonderful resource, but it has become very limited, if you only plan to photograph, and it would do precisely nothing to the management of your 9000 fonts.  Not a garbage.

  I used TypeDNA for awhile and well liked.

  If I myself remember well touch sensitivity was introduced with Windows 8 and improved in point 8.1, so I doubt if a touchscreen monitor would work. You could easily use a graphics tablet, but enjoy the extra convenience of drawing on a screen with a science-based application.

  Photoshop CS6 should work fine with Windows 10 as well if it worked for Windows7/8.

  This problem normally occurs when your startup disk disk / zero does not have enough available space or don't have not permissions for Photoshop write temporary data.

  Try another card and card reader. Also, be sure to try to use the Finder to copy files directly from your card to hard drive, if you aren't already. Using the software provided a camera to transfer has been known to corrupt raw files.

  There are two files to download: an exe (file 1 of 2) and the 7z (file 2 of 2).

  both must be placed in the same directory and the exe file needs to be clicked (or double) clicked.  The 7z file should NOT manually extract with winzip or any other utility.  It is extracted from the exe.

  Photoshop CS6 Extended is additional options on top of Photoshop CS6...  They are not separate programs, just additional features enabled or disabled (enabled or disabled) by licensing as David said.

  So I do not know why you want or need to do anyway, editing is determined by the serial number, so you can't really "downgrade".
