  Content views: counts the number of times that customers consider each ad and an Article.

  Visits: Shows the number of visits to the application of Digital Publishing in specified period.

• By specifying a folio with Adobe DPS Analytics

  I just uploaded my 2nd folio to my Viewer and my push notifications all work. I entered all the information (name of the Article, kicker, etc), but only my apps name appears in analytics DPS.

  Is there anything I should do to enable analytics for all of the folios in a folio multi Viewer?

  The 2nd folio is just a test, and there's only one page. This could be the reason?

  It works now. I think it took about 20 minutes to register a new folio in DPS analytics.

• DPS Analytics shows the type folio?

  With DPS Analytics is anyway to say what type of folio has been downloaded, an iPhone or an iPad folio?

  If not, is there another way to compare iPhone use DPS compared to use iPAD DPS?

  You can create name problem reports and discover how many editions has downloaded on each type of device (iPad 1, iPad 3, iPhone, iPhone 4S 5, etc.).

• DPS Analytics problem

  DPS for Analytics System State shows everything works fine but when I connect to my dashboard for my application, I see a bunch of folios which do not belong to me, what is happening?

  I just want to close the loop on this issue. After a discussion on a separate thread, the client has confirmed that the problem has disappeared.

  After the investigation, we have found that the problem why you saw data that does not belong to you yesterday, it's that the segment has been ignored by Site Catalyst for some reason any. Now is back to normal.

• DPS license questions

  A few questions:

  1. We currently have a Pro license and produce about 12 apps, iOS and Android. If we buy a company subscription, can all 12 apps to be transferred to the license of the company, in addition to being able to create new applications under this license with all the Enterprise features (personalization, law etc.)?

  2. Agency 'A' won a contract to carry out the app for a publishing company. Agency 'B' loses on contracts, but provided services of editing for 2 years. Agency B used their own enterprise license to generate and publish applications for the company. So how agency support of branch B, so that the current subscribers of the app are no interruption and the same application still appears in iTunes, apparently UN-modified?

  1. Yes. It's just an update license that applies to your existing account, all existing applications will always be there. You can modify existing applications to take advantage of the enterprise features and create new ones.

  2. There is a process where we can migrate apps by one body of the DPS system to another, but it requires manual labor and you must call assistance. Note that for the moment we are dealing with not such applications due to some technical work taking place (in order to make migration less manual and more easy for us to do internally), but you can certainly contact the Gold technical support and ask them to put migration on the list based on that taks techniques are completed.

  I am a subscriber of creative cloud. I have a very basic question for the Digital Publishing Suite: is it included in my subscription? Or is it a separate thing?

  What is the difference between Adobe DPS and Mag +?

• InDesign DPS Newbie Questions!

  My apologies for my ignorance full here, but I'm creating an application, because for the first time and also learn InDesign as I go. I have a few questions I was hoping that someone might be able to help/clarify for me because I can't seem to find answers in the forums or YouTube videos! Once again, my apologies if this are relatively basic questions for you the highest designers out there! Enjoy your time and your help!

  1. I want to create a bar drop-down menu located at the bottom of each page of the document. I would like that these are images which are then a hyperlink to other locations in the document. I know I can create a scrolling slide show, but can images in this slide show become buttons to other locations in the document? If so, can you please tell me a few directions step by step on how do?

  2. I want to be able to read a page of scrolling down and then maybe finish a story by dragging horizontally. I guess that you this with face of pages, is that correct?  I know that you can alternate layouts, and it of great, but is it possible to read something down and through? If so, can you point me to a guide that shows me how?

  3. due to this problem of hyperlink, I create all sections of my story in a single document, rather than individual because I assume you can't hyperlink between InDesign documents. Is this correct?

  4. is there a way to create a "Contact me" page in InDesign that allows people to send me an e-mail if they want more information etc. ?

  1. Yes, just use the navto: command with the keys.

  2 no... NEVER use a facing for a DPS document pages. What you are

  describe cannot be done in an article unless you are using a very large

  image scrolling.

  3. very bad idea. Use the separate InDesign documents and navto:

  commands to get to them.

  4. it should be done with all the HTML or you can just use a

  mailto: hypelink.

  My conclusion here is that you have not done nearly enough research. The

  first thing to do is to download app DPS Bob Bringhurst tips from the app

  store and go through that.

  In regards to the metric "throws" under "Request for information" in the analytics component:

  The Analytics white paper defines 'Lance' as follows:

  "T e total of the number of times each application is initialized. Compares installs them Lance to determine actual use after the initial download. »

  Goes without saying. Someone clicks the icon to launch, which is 1 launch of the app. Type it again, another launch, for a total of 2 launches.

  
  

  However, I r recently seen analytical report app for which the number of launches app seemed to be much higher that expected, which made me wonder... is it possible that County updates from library to the total "throws", too?

  For example, once in the library of the application, a user can click on an icon in the navigation bar at the bottom to access other content. They sail to the library, a 'Library' update is initialized. Jump folios of b/t also did the same thing.   When an app is launched after installation or put in the foreground of background - it triggers a "spear". Library updates trigger not 'Lance '.

  Go to the producer of Folio, open the Folio, click Article. On the right you find the Properties section of the Article where there is an option to mark the Article as "advertising".

• iPhone 5 and DPS Letterbox question?

  Hello community,

  I know that we can not see the iPhone 5 in the Viewer, but if one defines the correct pixel in the folio for iPhone dimensions 5, will be viewing once downloaded application on end-users phone unletterboxed?

  DPS viewers will run letterboxed on iPhone 5 now, no matter what size of folio you create. We hope to change this to exit 26.
