  I have a drag and drop into a slide (7 Captivate) as a control of knowledge.

  Problem: I need correct feedback interaction drag-and - drop is reset whenever the learner does not return to the slide slide / move later or click on the back of the next slide button. Currently, the correct feedback is present.

  Background: The learner ends slide it / move and gets feedback 'Okay!' action show and "Incorrect" comments of the existing captivate feedback: failure. The learner then continues the lesson on the way to the next slide. The problem is that, if the learner is returned for drag / move, 'Okay!' feedback still shows even if the drag source items are reset to their original locations and the learner can repeat the interaction drag-and - drop. By clicking on the button "Reset" does not remove the existing 'Okay!' feedback. Even if the learner restores the interaction and the opposite effect (for example if the learner is wrong the first time, but then correct themselves the second time), the existing comments do not change to "correct".

  Any ideas on how to solve this problem? I understand that we need to create advanced actions. Please tell me the exact steps in this case, and if I have to perform actions on enter or exit.

  Note: I am tired of reading messages associated with it. But the creation of the advanced options step did not have.

  Ok.  Just a question because I saw one of the Adobe people chime in on a similar question a couple of days back.

  Unlike the quiz questions, success and failure captions to make drag and drop interactions seem to have names of elements which suggests that they may be hidden by advanced Actions.  You should try to define an action on slide enter to hide and see if that solves your problem.

  I created an infographic of type board game and wants that the participant to be able to enter the game room, then drop it into different spaces on the Board, each holding to another slide. I need interaction drag - déposer so that they can pick up and drop the piece. Now, what I need is for each target to have a different action, but even if I add each one to a different group, if I change an action for one, that it applies the change to all drop targets.

  Is there a way to get around this?

  In addition, once / if possible, I would like to add a "back button" on each of these slides and would need when the participant returns to the boardgame slide, they can move the piece to a different drop target to read the following description.   If I understand you correctly, I think that I thought about it.

  1. Create your Drag and Drop, as you would normally
  2. In the Panel of Drag and Drop, select the Options tab
  3. Click on the button set the correct answers
  4. The value of each drop target to have the source of displacement of the source (you must choose the sequence in the Type drop-down list)
  5. Create the slides that you want to display for each drop target
  6. Select one of the drop targets
  7. Go to the Format of the Panel Drag and Drop tab
  8. The Actions of the object... a button click
  9. In the action column, select go to slide, and then select the appropriate slide
  10. Repeat steps 6 through 9 for each target deposit

  Hi, I work with 8 Captivate and created an interaction drag-and - drop using the wizard to drag / move. For some reason when I preview the interaction some of my sources of drag and others are not. I searched high and low for what I can hurt, but I can not understand. I created types when doing the interaction so it is not sensible that some should work and others don't.   You have disabled the option accept all of the dialog "drag accepted Source. (as seen from your capture screen images).

  If the option "accept all the" is checked, the target can accept 'ALL' sources who are ticked in the column 'Drag Source Types '. In your case, Image 9 can accept sources of type "Bad conscience".

  Since you have unchecked the option accept everything, and the value of Count is 1 (which is default). Here so the target can accept only 1 source of type "Healthy Conscience of the United Nations" and lift reject legend of error on the acceptance of another source.

  Check the option "accept all the ' try and let me know if this works for you.

  Try to clear the cache of your project.  If this does not work, delete your preferences.  You will need to do it anyway since you said you reinstalled Captivate.

  I ve done a Drag and Drop interaction, where I have 4 targets and 4 drag only one correct answer for each of the sources. I've added States for Drop targets:

  DropCorrect State, The target turns Green when pressing submit, and the answer is correct.

  DropIncorrect State, target Drop becomes Red when press submit and answer is incorrect.

  I thought that it would be a good way to show the user which targets Drop are correct and which aims to drop they must change to get the right answer.

  When the answer is correct, Drop targets turns green and I made an action that says "OK, click anywhere to continue."

  BUT when the answer is wrong, nothing happens to the colors of the Drop target. It s just a failed, Try Again message. Nothing more.

  Why isn´t the State DropIncorrect showing when I press the submit button and the answer is incorrect?

  I just checked the file of this article, which was created on an earlier version of 9 and it works well also for the State of DropInCorrect, but I have only 1 attempt! I suspect that your endless attempts are the cause of the DropIncorrect does not. Compare it with actions on a question slide: success action will be performed when the answer is correct, but the other action will be done only at the last attempt is finished and the answer is wrong. Since you have endless attempts, this last attempt event never occurs.

  I'm trying to do two things in a captivate project that I am working. They are:-

  1. I have an exercise slide - déposer I chose the setting that the decline does not accept point slide wrong and sends it back immediately. I'm doing a legend of success as 'Good work' or something displayed on the user put all the drag source in the correct deposit boxes. I do not use the submit button. Once appears the legend of success, the user can click a next button to move to the next slide. I am not able to put the legend of success.

  2. I'm trying to put a timer on the blades so that the user can see the total length of the e-Learning, time elapsed or time left on all slides.

  Can you guys help me with these questions I have.

  1. you define the activity of Auto submit the correct answers. It is under the accordion of Options in properties of Drag and Drop. Then run an advanced action to display the legend of success and the next button on the success of the activity.

• Captivate 8 Drag and Drop several legends of text for your comments

  I am creating an interaction with an element with which the learner can drag for four different images representing the different categories of data classification.  The idea of the interaction is for the learner to discover each of the four different categories, by trial and error.    I want them to provide comments through text captions that the answer is right or wrong, but each piece of comments will be different and the user should be able to drag the item several times until they found the right answer.  I can't fwork how to do this.

  I just upgraded to Captivate 8 week last, after having previously used Captivate 5.   Therefore, I've never used the installation drag - d├⌐poser and I don't know if he's going to do what I'm trying to achieve or if it's something I could achieve with shares advanced instead, or if it is not possible to do. I tried searching for similar topics, but either did not understand the answer or scenarios seemed different.  I don't really know where everything is still 8 Captivate, and while I have used certain actions in Captivate 5 tip, I'm not that comfortable with them, so simple is good.  The interaction doesn't have to be reported on.

  Is anyone able to help me please?

  According to my understanding, you have a source element that can drag and drop on 4 different targets (different images). For every drop of a sort of legend should appear on stage the feedback to the corresponding user from the target source. (Correct me if I'm wrong)

  This can be achieved with Drag and drop interaction.

  1. Insert the source 4times and overlap each other (since you can drag and drop 1 number 4 times, you must have this element to work as a source of slippage 4 up to 4 items).

  2. make the 4 elements as drag source and group them into a single type. (With the help of add option)

  3. you have your 4 images on stage and Mark as targets of drag.

  4. Insert the rear power legends and put them near their targets. Disable their 'Visible output' flag on Bill pro forma.

  5. now match the Correct ANS on stage.i.e of one of the source type to a target correct years.

  6. Select each target and open their box "Actions of the object". (from Panel drag / move)

  7. uncheck the ' accept all the ' option and the value of count 1. Add the action of 'travel' to show their legends of Feedback now under Drag source Type. (which were hidden). This should be through "Advanced Actions.

  8. now after for each target open the dialog box 'Good years' drag and drop the Panel. (it will be under options and so visible from the source or target is selected)

  9. here under the table, you can see that the value of count is 4. This is to reduce the value to 1. (double-click to change)

  Interaction is now ready. Please don't answer if that's what you wanted to achieve and if you do all the steps above.

  just have a look at the new captivate 8 and when I try to do a drag - déposer question I go to normal place of window > drag and drop. but the problem is the drag and drop option is grayed out - would it because I have only this class on a copy of the trial?

  Nope.  This is because cannot not have slip and fall in a sensitive to the Cp8 project.

  Try to create a normal inadmissible project and you should find that drag-and - déposer is not disabled.

• I have problems with gmail with firefox. Refreshing page is slow; Drag and drop files in email sometimes do not work.

  My problem is mainly associated with gmail. When I click on return to the Inbox after reading a mail, it takes a good few seconds while in the past, it was always instant.

  My other problem is drag them / move the files as an attachment in gmail. Sometimes it won't work and I have to use the manual icon attaches trombone. However, if I restart firefox and re - connect to gmail, it will work again.

  I also noticed that when you drag an image in the mail window, it will not become an attachment, but it will appear instead. Is there a way where I can choose to have inserted images as attachments rather than displayed in the mail?

  Thanks for your advice. I'm not sure what will happen if I change my profile. I'm afraid I'll be somebody else for those who know me.

  So I decided to try the second option on the plugin check. After I clicked on the link the message says that my version of firefox is not the last. I've updated it and so far I don't have drag and drop the problem but we will give it some time and see. This problem does not occur all the time but it happened a few times, so I guess I should try it for a while.

  I HAVE MS WINDOWS XP.

  I HAVE A FOLDER WITH DOCUMENTS WORD AND JPEG IN IT.

  WHEN I DRAG AND DROP A FILE INTO THE FOLDER TO MOVE AROUND I NO LONGER GET THE GRID OF CLARET BAR "BLACK." THE FILE AROUND EMERGES IN THE FOLDER, YOU CAN MOVE ANYWHERE, IT WILL OVERLAP OTHER ICONS FILE.

  IT HAD WORKED, IT SEEMS THAT I MIGHT MOVE ONE FILE ON THE WINDOWS OF THE SCREEN AT A GIVEN TIME, PERHAPS THIS CORRUPTED SOMETHING.

  IN ANY CASE, CREATED A NEW FOLDER, COPIED THE OLD FILES FOLDER, IT WORKS VERY WELL.

  WHEN TO USE THE OLD NAME OF FILE, SAME PROBLEM, NO 'BLACK' DRAG-AND-DROP POSITIONING GRID BAR.

  THE FORMER NAME OF FOLDER SHOULD BE SOMEWHERE AND IT IS CORRUPT.

  I NOTICED THAT THE SREEN GTA CLICK WINDOW ARRANGE ICONS AUTO ARRANGE AND ALIGN WITH THE GRID OPTIONS ARE CHECKED, THE FILES DO NOT HAVE THESE OPTIONS.

  MAYBE THERE IS A COMMAND TO CHANGE REGISTRY RUN WHERE I CAN FIX SOMETHING.

  This is probably because you have disabled somehow "Auto arrange" for this folder.

  Open the folder where you had problems, and then click the drop-down display. You will see options for how you want to see the contents of the folder. If you selected thumbnails, tiles or icons, there is another option under the terms of "rearrange icons by" called "auto arrange". This is a toggle switch, repeated clicks turn the lights-off etc.

  BTW, the use of 'all capitals' type is not considered by some as the right label and discourage some people to respond. So, if you want to maximize your chances of a reply in the future, type like I did, or even entirely in lowercase.

  I use Dreamweaver CC 2015.3 and try to use the Image Map option. I'm not using it in Liveveiw so there must be another problem.

  I have inserted a picture and give MapId image2. After that, I tried to drag and drop all three circle, polygon, and rectangle. Nothing happened.

  No map tag is packed. Nothing happens. What is the reason?

  1. place an image into your page (the tag should be used, image maps do not work on css-background images)
  2 single-left-click on the image in Design view to select it (a black box appears). If you see a blue border and a tab, when you click the image, you again Live View Editor and click on the triangle next to the Code, Split and buttons direct to change design

  3 left - click the shape you want in the Properties window to select the tool

  4. go to the image, click and drag (to a circle or square) or click on several points (for the polygon tool) to create your interactive image tag

• 8 - Drag and Drop - Bounce Back answers that are out of sequence of Captivate

  Sorry if it's addressed somewhere, but my search results find anything. I'm building a drag and drop in which objects should be waived in order in various targets. I can get an object of bounce if it fell in the wrong place, but I also want the object to bounce back if it broke down (in the wrong order). For example, if point 2 fell in the right place, but in the wrong order, it will be returned. But I can't find an option for that. Any ideas? Thank you!

  I don't think there's a way to get there. Only drag sources that cannot be accepted by a drop target can be bounced. But with the sequence, the drag source must be accepted even if it is not in the correct order.

• Captivate 7 Drag and Drop

  I created a drag and drop for a Captivate 7 project. I want an image to display when the learner Gets the correct interaction. I want a different image to appear if the learner Gets the incorrect interaction. It doesn't work the way I configured it and display the image correctly even when I finished the Drag and Drop incorrectly.  Suggestions?

  

  And what then is the first timeline?  It is a completely different, where are the Feedback text captions?  And you not answered my questions: why sprawl of these legends on the timeline, staggering of the buttons?

  I don't see why you need a second slide just to show your comments? I gave you a link, have you read this article? I explained how to display a legend for the success, and the legend of failure is already built into the D & P. Still, I suspect that you don't understand its features.

• Why is it not my Drag and Drop let me it slide?

  I created an interaction drag-and - déposer in CP8. I have about 40 seconds of audio before I want the interaction drag and drop to become active, so my drag source and targets are hidden for 40 seconds. I have D & D put on pause after 42 seconds.

  When I saw my slide, it doesn't allows me to drag my source at all. In fact, the only time wherever it allows me to do it, is if I put the source and the target is displayed at the beginning of the slide.

  I have to create two slides? To play the audio and then automatically move to a second slide with the D & D just to this topic?

  It's one of the problems with drag & drop: objects must be programmed at the beginning of the slide.  If this is not possible, as I already had the requirement in many projects, you need to split into two blades.
