  THE FORMER NAME OF FOLDER SHOULD BE SOMEWHERE AND IT IS CORRUPT.

  I NOTICED THAT THE SREEN GTA CLICK WINDOW ARRANGE ICONS AUTO ARRANGE AND ALIGN WITH THE GRID OPTIONS ARE CHECKED, THE FILES DO NOT HAVE THESE OPTIONS.

  MAYBE THERE IS A COMMAND TO CHANGE REGISTRY RUN WHERE I CAN FIX SOMETHING.

  This is probably because you have disabled somehow "Auto arrange" for this folder.

  Open the folder where you had problems, and then click the drop-down display. You will see options for how you want to see the contents of the folder. If you selected thumbnails, tiles or icons, there is another option under the terms of "rearrange icons by" called "auto arrange". This is a toggle switch, repeated clicks turn the lights-off etc.

  BTW, the use of 'all capitals' type is not considered by some as the right label and discourage some people to respond. So, if you want to maximize your chances of a reply in the future, type like I did, or even entirely in lowercase.

  Since I've upgraded to windows 7 I can't drag and drop photos in my file to customize the organization. She was driving me crazy and so I looked on the web to see if anyone else has had this problem. It turns out that windows 7 doesn't just have this feature. How is that possible? • Schools in class drag and drop printing patterns, not allowing me to drag-and - drop!

  I have LR 5.7 and bought print templates of Coles in class, a Communicator, respected and well-known photography on the web. The models are supposed to be drag and drop (from the film). then when they are installed and you choose a template in the print Module in custom templates, you can simply drag and drop your images directly in the model in the main window.

  Unfortunately, I can't do it. Models are there, they are installed properly in LR and I can click and bring up all the different models (there are many). But I can't seem to pick up and drag images into the model of the film, as shown and described by Cole in his video tutorials. It seems there was little problem of anyone with these models and it is a problem that Cole himself has never met before. He said 'turning normal and turns off again' what I did and had no effect. I uninstalled and reinstalled the models and it has no effect. I cannot yet pick up and drag images from the film on the bottom in the model.

  I have not tried a huge amount to remedy this that frankly, I don't really know where to start. But just try to find the problem, I found that when I clicked on the Picture Package, at the top of the column on the right in the print module, ALL of my images from my collection have already been put in separate models for each image. As I've never really used before printing module, I don't know if this has an effect on me to be able to drag and drop in a different package and so to stop me to do?

  These models were expensive and it seems I'm the only person who seems to have had this problem with them. Is there something I need to turn it on, or move or change for me to enable drag and drop images, or am on a loser with this one?

  I don't know about your models, but in general, you need to drop by the image , not its surroundings of the border.

• Drag and drop the library not workingf

  I placed a number of graphics (.ai .ps, .eps, .pdf etc.) in a CC library. When Im in InDesgn I can see the items in the library, but when I try to drag and drop them on an open page, I get a message saying "the file does not exist or the file may be in use by another application."

  I've restarted the computer and only Indesign open so that the files are not in use.  The library icons next to the items. I can double click and use goods have been placed in InDesign, but the files in photoshop or Illustrator won't drag-and - drop or double click for use in InDesign.

  Is this to say that I cannot use InDesign created elements of library in InDesign and photoshop only elements in Photoshop etc. ?

  I solved the problem in this way:

  1. launch InDesign

  2 - Open a new document

  3 to drag and drop objects from the library CC

  7 - Repeat the pp. 1-3

  7A - if this does not work, I have to open Illustrator object and drag-and - drop library in Illustrator. And then I repeat s. 1-3

  You have disabled the option accept all of the dialog "drag accepted Source. (as seen from your capture screen images).

  If the option "accept all the" is checked, the target can accept 'ALL' sources who are ticked in the column 'Drag Source Types '. In your case, Image 9 can accept sources of type "Bad conscience".

  Since you have unchecked the option accept everything, and the value of Count is 1 (which is default). Here so the target can accept only 1 source of type "Healthy Conscience of the United Nations" and lift reject legend of error on the acceptance of another source.

  Check the option "accept all the ' try and let me know if this works for you.

• Why don't I do drag and drop files between programs in windows 7?

  You most certainly can.  The same provisions still apply: If you try to drag an image file in Notepad, for example, it won't allow him, as always.

• Drag and drop work stoppages until the computer restarts

  We are experiencing a problem on some machines (Windows 7 SP1 64 bit) where slide - déposer ceases to function in all applications.

  For example, in Windows Explorer, you can initiate the drag, but when you release the mouse button to make the 'drop' the drag image/icon remains right on the screen.  Once you press the ESC operation key drag is cancelled and slide it image/icon disappears.

  There seems to be a sequence of actions in various applications as the user doest that tests the problem.  Even after closing all applications and even restarting Windows Explorer, disconnect and reconnect the mouse, the problem persists.  A reboot seems to be necessary to solve the problem.  We cannot identify any resource that is used as memory, GDI and user handles objects, etc., to the top.   Windows Process Monitor and Process Explorer have not ben useful.

  Do we know if there are a few key resources being locked that prevents drag it / move to fill?

  Actually figured this out in part.  It seems to be related to an application that has been hanging mouse events and leaving the passage of events in a bad state of a certain type.

  The error is pointing to this line of code with the textfield object, so the problem is that a textfield with this name does not exist when this code runs.  Given that code lies in the frame of 122, there is every chance that you have not named that textfield everywhere you should... which should be for each key frame, there... and hopefully extends to the 122 thus framework since it is where it is supposed to be for this code.

  As far as not being sure if this is how you debug it... This is probably the most common error that keeps popping up in these forums.  The approach to solve it rarely varies.  I just surprised that people are not able to find it by searching (while the search is running) because it comes almost every day, even after a few years in AS3.

• I have a brand new installation of 13 PS elements. How I have difficulty drag and drop doesn't work is not on my system Windows 7 Pro 64-bit?

  I just installed PS 13 items on my system Windows 7 Pro 64-bit. Mouse clicking works, but how I have difficulty drag and drop works do not?   See other discussions on this topic, which suggests a conflict of startup program that might be the cause, I did some experiments.

  All the functions of the mouse to 13 PS elements worked well if I started my Windows 7 in "safe" mode
  So, back in 'normal' mode, I manually disabled all startup programs. Returned mouse problem.
  Enter the control panel "services", I disabled 'Synergy' (a program that allows me to share my keyboard and mouse between two computers). Fixed a problem.
  The reactivation of all the startup programs while leaving a synergy service is turned off, everything works still fine.
  Start all programs present and re-empowerment synergy, but turned off its 'high privilege check box. Everything is still fine.

  Conclusion: Synergy in high privilege mode service was the only culprit.
  Synergy in non high mode allows my PS 13 items and keyboard/mouse sharing to coexist.

  The strange thing is that only PS elements 13 was affected by synergy. I detect no problems anywhere else. But it doesn't matter; the new arrangement (no high synergy) works fine for everything.

  I am trying to use Virtual PC for Windows 7 and be able to identify ways to transfer files from my host system in a virtual PC, I created.

  I was previously using Virtual PC (VPC) 2007 under Vista and am familiar with just the files dragging and droping to and from my host on the virtual computer system.

  Integration features allows the WVPC7 to share resources and readers. Open the virtual machine settings, and these options are available:

  1. Audio. Without integration, sounds played inside the virtual machine are emulated using a SoundBlaster 16 card. Audio output is fairly shrill and unpleasant to play using MP3s that imitated the sound card. With audio integration, sounds inside the VM are routed via Protocol Office remotely to your physical card. Audio output will be much better.
  2. Clipboard. Host OS and guest OS supported can share contents of the Clipboard.
  3. Printer. Applications within the virtual machine can print using your physical printer. This is useful if you have a parallel printer (LPT1). For USB printers, click on the "USB" menu on the toolbar of the virtual machine monitor, then attach your USB printer to your virtual machine.
  4. Smart cards. (I do not have any device of smart card, experts, please answer)
  5. Readers. Guest operating system can access and write files directly to your physical hard disks (or DVD or USB flash disk drive); is based on the physical disks, you have shared.

  For drag / drop, until today (2 July here) does not. I used to drag-and - drop files from my desktop windows vista to the desktop of the virtual machine (windows XP inside) you do, but now we can't. Another approach is to share your disks in has integration of options described above.

  After I shared my C: drive, a new 'shared' drive appeared in my virtual Windows XP [workstation], which is 'C on RYAN-PC' (the name may be different on your PC).   This problem occurs if the Windows Media Player database is corrupted.

  To resolve this problem, delete the Windows Media Player database. To do this, follow these steps:

  (a) click Start , click run , type %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Media Player , and then click OK.

  (b), select all the files in the folder, and then click delete on the file menu.

  Note  You don't have to remove the folders that are in this folder.

  (c) restart Windows Media Player.

  Note  Windows Media Player automatically rebuilds the database.

• Creates shortcuts to folders via SHIFT-CTRL/Drag-And-Drop is no longer supported in Windows 7 (64 bit)?

  In Windows Vista, there are two possibilities to create a shortcut to a folder by drag - move different combinations of keys by drag-and - drop:

  'ALT'-key: create a normal shortcut (a double-click on this shortcut navigates to the linked folder)
  "SHIFT-CTRL"-key: creates a shortcut file (junction; "." the folder appears as a subfolder of the folder of its container)

  In Windows 7, it is only possible to create normal shortcuts. 'SHIFT-CTRL' / drag-and-drop doesn't seem to work in Windows 7. Only, it behaves in the same way as 'ALT' / drag-and-drop.

  My observation is correct?
  Is it possible to activate Vista-like behavior in Windows 7 (for example, by editing the registry)?

  A few notes:

  Shortcuts to files that have been created previously with Windows Vista are always managed properly in Windows 7 (i.e., they appear as subfolders).

  The expected behavior of drag-and-drop works correctly when deleting in the folder "...\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Network shortcuts" (However, creating normal shortcuts via "ALT" - key is not possible in the shortcut 'network' - folder).

  Creating a shortcut to folder in "Network shortcut" and then moving in an arbitrary folder shortcut works as expected. Currently, it is the only workaround I know.
