Draw the users currently connected to the Application

Hello
I want to see the list of users currently connected to the Application.

I had put the Option 'Sign-On Audit' profile to the level of "Mule".

Now I am tracking in the database using option "security: users-> monitor ' and yet the below sql query. I get a different output of two channels.

Select distinct fu.user_name User_Name, fr. RESPONSIBILITY_KEY responsibility
of fnd_user fu, fnd_responsibility en, icx_sessions ic
where fu.user_id = ic.user_id AND
Fr.responsibility_id = ic.responsibility_id AND
IC.disabled_flag =' no AND
IC.responsibility_id is not null AND
IC.last_connect such as sysdate;

Please let me know how to check the users currently connected to the application and their connected at the time.

Thanks and greetings
Amith

After successfully completing the 'Purge Signon Audit' request I tried to track users, it shows all users connected to the Application today. He does ' t display the users who are currently connected to the application server.

This is expected behavior since you have "ic.last_connect such as sysdate;" in your query. If you want to check the users that are connect in the latter in the past (15/30 minutes or 1 hour), please refer to:

    I know P6 allows the administrator to see which users are currently registered in the system, but I can't seem to find the right screen to do so. Can anyone advise what I need to take action?

    In the menu

    Admin-> users

    Add the 'connected' column, this will show the modules used by each user. You can also create a report based on the users you can run at any time show the same

    Another useful feature is to use the 'Users' button on the file-> open dialogue, it will show users who have projects open.

    In the menu

    File-> open

    Select a project or an EPS clcik users node button
    You will see a list with the user name, when they connected to, what projects are open, the OS username as well as the access type (shared, exclusive, etc.)

  • How to create users that can connect to the application?

    Hello

    As an example of Application provided by APEX, in this application, the administrator can create users and reset passwords, and the user can connect to this application. How is this happening?

    Now I know how to create users and reset passwords through the corresponding working table.

    But I don't know how to use the user to to connect to the application? I tried several times to use the user create by ADMIN to connect to the application, but I failed.

    I can't find any setting in the sample Application, but it do.

    If any good plans?

    I thank in advance.

    There are two ways you can handle this... Build users of the APEX and continued them through the api of the APEX (not recommended by what I saw several comments here, outside the development environment) OR in your application, you could build a custom authentication system...

    Here is a link to explain how make one:

  • Apex, language of login page set after the connection based on the user pref browser lang and application-based

    Hello

    Request Express 4.2.3.00.08

    I created an application of multi languaguage in which the language is defined by setting: FSP_LANGUAGE_PREFERENCE

    But the login page, I would like to than the login page to be displayed in the browsers language.

    The url of the application connection looks like as shown below but the & BROWSER_LANGUAGE. product always (English).

    f? p = & APP_ID.:LOGIN_DESKTOP: & SESSION. : FSP_LANGUAGE_PREFERENCE: & BROWSER_LANGUAGE.

    LOGIN_DESKTOP is an intermediate page that has one before branch header for the page of real connection if the FSP_LANGUAGE_PREFERENCE is set prior to the loading of the page.

    If I set the language set in this URL, it works as expected:

    f? p = & APP_ID.:LOGIN_DESKTOP: & SESSION. : FSP_LANGUAGE_PREFERENCE:nl - page Login Show in NL

    f? p = & APP_ID.:LOGIN_DESKTOP: & SESSION. : FSP_LANGUAGE_PREFERENCE:-see the login page in EN

    When I put the application to choose the language based on the browser language that it works, but then I am not able to have users to save their preferences for the next time they are connected.

    Any ideas on why & BROWSER_LANGUAGE. translates by "in" even though the language in the browser is different?

    See you soon

    Bottom

    OK, he stares at me

    For all those interested, this is how.

    Create a page additional empy (with alias page LOGIN_FORWARD_PAGE) and set the url to connect to the application of this new page and set the value of the application on BRANCH_TO_PAGE_ACCEPT:

    f? p = & APP_ID.: LOGIN_FORWARD_PAGE: & SESSION. : BRANCH_TO_PAGE_ACCEPT:

    On the page to create a pl/sql process submit before calculations similar to one below which affect the en language, if the browser is not NL (in Dutch):

    If upper (substr (owa_util.get_cgi_env ('HTTP_ACCEPT_LANGUAGE'), 1, 2)) = "NL" then

    : FSP_LANGUAGE_PREFERENCE: = "nl";

    on the other

    : FSP_LANGUAGE_PREFERENCE: = 'en ';

    end if;

    And create a branch to submit before the treatment which redirects to the current login page (the value of FSP_LANGUAGE_PREFERENCE is then already set and the application is configured to use this setting).

    After that loging in you can extract the FSP_LANGUAGE_PREFERENCE based on the user.

    BTW, I had to switch to 4.2.5 there in 4.2.3 is a bug preventing to set session state when you use BRANCH_TO_PAGE_ACCEPT!

  • Current connected user returning 'anonymous' in the environment of the client only.

    Hi all.

    We are having trouble getting to the user currently logged on our faces / ADF / BPM Workspace application running at the customer.

    First of all we try this:

    Director main = ADFContext.getCurrent () .getSecurityContext () .getUserPrincipal ();

    Or

    String userName = ADFContext.getCurrent () .getSecurityContext () .getUserName ();

    Or

    FacesContext.getCurrentInstance () .getExternalContext () .getRemoteUser ());

    And all variants of this return 'anonymous' as a user.

    I don't know if the two problems are related, but if we try to get through WorkflowContext we had a warning "not secure", followed NullPointerException.

    As this code:

    IWorkflowContext wfContext = ADFWorklistBeanUtil.getWorkflowContext ();

    String userName = wfContext.getUser ();

    Output:

    Gabriel Stabel

    Well, we found a solution.

    In our case, the problem was a parameter missing (automatic by JDeveloper removal v11.1.1.7.1) in our page human task workflow configuration file (_TaskFlow.xml).

          bpmWorklistContext
          #{pageFlowScope.bpmWorklistContext}

    Without this parameter, we had a problem in the customer environment, but not in ours. Probably of slightly different versions components question about.

    With this setting the code below works in both environments.

    String userName = ADFWorklistBeanUtil.getWorkflowContext().getUser();

  • Connect on Worklist Application using the user no AD (weblogic)

    Hi all

    I configured Active Directory to my Weblogic Server. Also all of my AD users are able to acess my BPEL worklist application.
    However, no AD users including weblogic (set to the default authenticator) are not able to access the application of worklist BPEL, where as weblogic user can always log on Console and EM.
    So I need to make Administarative activities in my BPEL worklist application, weblogic user connects in worklist BPEL as an administrator application.

    This is possible by creating Administrators group on Active Directory and the assignment of weblogic user to this group.

    Y at - there any otherway to do because I don't want to create a user of weblogic as the part of the Administrators group in Active Directory.

    Hi CPR1,.

    Sorry for the late reply (I probably missed the system message), yes I asked the support of oracle and got the answer: KM for HFM 11.1.2.4 module is no longer supported. If I can choose only to customize the interface using the JAVA API or use FDMEE.

    Thanks for all the help, but it seems using ODI to load the data in HFM version 11.1.2.4 + will is no longer supported.

    Now, I'm very new to the world of the Oracle...
    I'm stuck here in the last 10 days...

    Does someone can give solution to this problem...

    Thanks in advance...
    Kind regards
    Manish

    Hello

    ORCL:/D32/orawc/product/10.2.0/Db_1:N
    Oracl:/D32/orawind/product/10.2.0/Db_1:N

    testwind:/D32/tstuser1/product/10.2.0/Db_1:N
    pdmorcl1:/D32/pdmorcl1/product/10.2.0/Db_1:N
    Wind:/D32/pdmorcl1/product/10.2.0/Db_1:N

    So now, I think that problem is some hand if environment variable at startup of the database. oratab files sows that you have multiple homes of oracle on your server
    1 /d32/orawc/product/10.2.0/Db_1
    2 /d32/orawind/product/10.2.0/Db_1
    3 /d32/tstuser1/product/10.2.0/Db_1
    4 /d32/pdmorcl1/product/10.2.0/Db_1

    Your environment variable must be set correctly when you start the database so that it starts from the good House. Listener could run from any head of mission and your database can register automatically. For your particular case, you should and environment flow as follows and it should work for you

    export ORACLE_HOME=/d32/pdmorcl1/product/10.2.0/Db_1
    export ORACLE_SID=wind
    export PATH=$ORACLE_HOME/bin:$PATH

    After setting your environment like that, now you conect 'as sysdba' and startup of the database (I think you know how to start the database. If it is already started, stopped and then start early). Now your database said the correct House

    Now you pasted above your tnsnames.ora file. Should the tnsnames.ora file $$be to the following Director (in the current home you above)

    /D32/pdmorcl1/product/10.2.0/Db_1/network/admin

    Now you try to connect you wanted. To make sure everything, also stick out now in the course of execution of the command line

    which tnsping
    which sqlplus
    which lsnrctl

  • No idea how I can follow all currently open files (or windows) to a file text or other sort of newspaper? Something similar to the Applications tab in the Manager of tasks, but with a path

    I am interested in creating a batch file or executable that will keep track of all of the currently open windows (files and applications)

    so that when Windows restarts I can more easily return to what I was doing before.
    This can be done either by connecting each operation on the file - open and remove items in the list when an item (file or window) is closed (logging only at this time here)
    , or by checking every 5-10 seconds that windows and files are currently open.
    I tried using TaskList, and OpenFiles to it but cannot do things, plus those also do not provide a path to open files - I want to keep the paths so that the items can be recovered (reopening) with a single click.   Any ideas how to do this?   I use Windows 7 Professional.
    My idea is to have the possibility to go back to all that I was working on, without having to memorize the list...  It is very useful for people who keep a lot of files and windows open most of the time, especially if for some reason any Windows crashes or stops the case (e.g. restart after an update...).    MS Office products can do it (by saving temporary files and allows you to recover if the program was not closed properly), a Web browser can do (keeping a story and using the session management)-why Windows can't do
    ?
    In addition, if there is such list of open windows and files then it might be possible to keep also some history and ' files/windows' recently closed, similar to how Google Chrome can show recently closed tab.
    The application that I'm developing (for my own personal use, although I would offer it to someone else) will be:
    -keep a history and a current list of open files/windows, including a path for each file opened.
    -Files/windows closed are removed from the list "now open" and moved to the list of "recently closed", which has a maximum length.
    -file/window close operations should be associated with the user control. Otherwise, opens the files that are closed
    by Windows when the judgment is no longer will be identified as open.
    -an option would be to ensure, somehow, that this request is always closed during a regular shutdown process first.
    -Another option is to simply assume that there is no problem, if Windows broke down, and that the user is reminded to close the application before you stop.
    -Another option is to have the traceable list, a user can go back a few steps up a point until Windows began to close.
    -Another option is to have the "last sitting" identified as, for example 2 minutes before closing, while keeping a list of items opened after that date.
    -list "recently closed" items that are too old (have been pushed to the bottom of the list and beyond of the length limit are moved to history.
    -l' history can be defined for a limited time or can be cleaned manually or automatically (periodically), or we can set a limit on the length for the history list.
    * the application/batch/executable is located in the Windows startup folder and it:
    -is launched at Windows startup
    -after start (automatically or manually) will display a dialog box containing a list of the items that were open before windows stop - see Creating session above.
    -user can deselect items in the list if he or she does not want to open them. "Uncheck the items of list moves to the ' recently closed" list or history.
    -by identifying which items are not kept, or simply to keep everything, the user clicks on a single button and the application opens to all items that are always enabled.  To avoid slowing down the system, an option is available to open files, in which case a flow can be set.  Defining a priority list, it is also an idea.
    If you think you have a good idea for this or want to work on it with me, please contact me at * address email is removed from the privacy *.
    If you are able to do it yourself, let me know.

    It all sounds very complicated for me, I wish you well in your efforts.

  • How to use the current connection when the db procedure call?

    Hi all

    Use Jdevleoper 11.1.1.3.

    I have a java class that calls a database procedure, now everything is fine with me, but a little slow because am open a new connection, I think it would be certainly faster if the current connection is using
    so, how can I re - write my code so I can use the istead of connection today to define a new connection to the DB:

    public void DeleteApp (int PAppNo) {}
    String username, password, thinConn;
    username = "ACC";
    password = "ACC";
    thinConn = "JDBC: thin: @...» »
    try {}
    DriverManager.registerDriver new (OracleDriver());
    Connection Conn = DriverManager.getConnection (thinConn, username, password);
    CallableStatement cs = conn.prepareCall ("{call myprocedure(?,?,?)}");
    cs.setInt(1,PAppNo);
    ....
    }

    Thanks for all,
    MaLa

    I would like here...

    A big problem, it's that you must hard code connection information into the user interface. No change to a different DB server configure it without changing the code and redeployed.

    Next, why don't you put method in the module of the application and call it? This will keep the valid MVC pattern.

  • Single database session by user in the Application of the ADF/BC

    Hi, I use ADF with BC (JDeveloper 11.1.1.1). My application will contain several application modules, each connected to the same JDBC data source. On the application server, I configured the data source to use the identity function connection pooling.

    My current Setup translates many sessions of database for each user. I have an obligation to use only a single database session by user HTTP session. Is it possible to configure the application modules to achieve this?

    Thank you
    Brad

    Hello

    use a single root module Am and make sure that the others are used as nested modules. This will create a single connection

    Hello
    in 10g R2, no one can connect to the network DB control (not sys, no sysman or system). We get the following:

    The application requires more privileges to database that you got currently. Click Help for more version specific information.

    I saw and applied notes metalink 330682.1 and 363065.1 who said:

    grant SELECT_CATALOG_ROLE to the user;

    grant select any dictionary for < user >;

    but no result.

    Any help?
    Thank you.
