  You must define a site in Dreamweaver and need to set up your FTP server. One for that, you can connect with the FTP server where your FrontPage is loaded and you can get the copy of the said locally.

• Dreamweaver CS6 and CC2014.1 won't open the files

  I'm having trouble with Dreamweaver CS6 and CC2014.1 do not open most of my files.  On two occasions, a technology Adobe had access to my computer, but they were unable to resolve the problem.  A previous support via chat session did not resolve the matter.  After that the 3rd tech was taken out of my computer, the computer go haywire.  It was the biggest mess I've ever seen.  Suddenly he brightened and DW began to work properly.  I went on vacation and after his return, DW won't open most of my files.  I tried all the suggestions in the forums and YouTube.  Someone please help.  I lost many, many hours of valuable work time.

  An interesting thing occurred.  I have just connected my desktop computer to a wi - fi connection in a hotel that uses the service of the Charter.  I can now open my web pages in DW.  A few weeks ago, I used a WiFi by another service provider and could not use DW.  After that I was in a cabin by using the service and everything worked fine.  Earlier today, I was connected with dish and could not use DW.  For 3 weeks, I was in Germany and elsewhere in Europe and had no trouble using DW.  So that explains all the problems.  There are providers of services.

  I just tested the behavior of Dreamweaver CC open in browser window. It creates slightly different Dreamweaver CS6 code, but it works correctly. This is what is created in the HTML code:

  When you run the uninstall program, it allows to uninstall all versions of Flash Player.

• Dreamweaver CS6 and Windows 10

  Dreamweaver CS6 is the ONLY software / App, which does not work on Windows 10 throughout the Master Suite... WHY?

  I even downloaded the standalone Dreamweaver CS6 - windows 10 installed on a clean disk and installed the Dreamweaver CS6 trial just to see if maybe something stopped working. Same thing has happened - Dreamweaver opens then closes.

  Problems shooter guide told me that the solution was to get Dreamweaver CC... This is unacceptable.

I can see my recent projects to open a. When I open the project I have between 2 and 60 seconds until it stop.   OK, so I finally called Adobe help line 800-833-6687 and talked to a guy there. He told me to rename the SLCache folder that is located in C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Adobe to oldSLCache. He also told me to rename the OOBE in C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Local\Adobe file in oldOOBE. I was unable to do so because of an error "the file is opened. Then he told me to rename the file SLStore in C:\ProgramData\Adobe in oldSLStore. After this he said to test Adobe first CC and I did. It actually WORKED! Thanks for trying to help, and as you can see I tried a solution anywhere in the internet, the Earth and the Moon without result; and this is the solution for me for all of you who have this problem. The guys at adobe said it was due to a sort of recording corrupt files.

  I use DW CS5.5 and 8.1 of Windows on a PC. The PC has a lot of memory and power. I use DW 5.5 for the manufacturing and Assembly of Web sites. My laptop has a 17 inch screen. For a site specific Web I have change, page not in 'Design view' without going to "Live View". Also for this one site, DW5.5 is very, very slow and unresponsive. The site is great but has not much JavaScript which would slow down so much performance. I won't change the preferences registry because it is the only site that I'm working on that has this problem. If you answer, please be very clear and explicit in the steps I have to take. Thanks in advance for your help and support. Sorry that the wrong title was on my post.

  The first thing I would do, because it seems to only be one site, is this site 'wrong' for html errors. Run the validator at http://validator.w3.org/nu and clean up all the errors that it finds.

  May I ask how you installed Win XP?
  Did you change the SATA mode on compatible in the BIOS settings?
  If yes then this problem is related to the missing SATA drivers!

  You can find the SATA drivers in the Intel Storage Manager which is placed on the page of European disk from Toshiba!

  assistance for this site sent line turned my most Omnihelp. Very competent people who has solved several problems but, the last of them was CC in Photoshop. The problem with it turns out be a plug-in of NIK software, which once turned off everything was well\

• I have Dreamweaver CS6 and I try to update with the latest patch 12.03

  I have download the file (for Mac) which opens 'AdobeDreamweaver-12, 0-All-Update' and when I apply the patch and re - open DW, I see that one still reads version 12.  No change.  The date of the application is still in 2013, so no change seems to have been done.

  How can I make sure I have the latest version and the best of DW CS6?

  There is no longer supported or updated.

  As far as I KNOW, when you install the latest update available for license for DW perpetual CS6, it does not reflect the new build # in your help menu.  It remains the same as before.
