Dreamweaver CS6 settings for w3c validator

How can I change or update the link to the validator w3c in Dreamweaver CS6 what ever settings should https://validator.w3.org/nu/ ?

To the best of my knowledge, you can't. It's one of the drawbacks of the CS6 "perpetual license". You can use it indefinitely without additional payment, but its functionality will be still stuck in April 2012, when it came out originally.

  • The system failure when Adobe Dreamweaver CS6 running for the first time... Why?

When I downloaded the adobe dreamweaver cs6 and during installation... There is nothing wrong except the screen resolution (required = 1280 * 800, but available = 1330 * 768)

But when I tried to run the program for the first time, the system had failed.

Can you help me to know the true cause, please?

CS6 requires a minimum of Windows XP with Service Pack 3. Also, your vertical resolution does not meet the minimum requirements.

  • Dreamweaver CS6 HTML5 document verification

    I have Dreamweaver CS6.  For Validation, it's now show 'this interface to check HTML5 document is obsolete. Use an interface for https://validator.w3.org/nu/ . {HTML5}

Is it possible to change the interface of Dreamweaver or should I download the pages of online validation?

I'm surprised DW isn't crashing for you when you are trying to post (it has been for most of the people, as the W3C changed the link to the validator).

You don't need to download to validate, however, change the "check by:" "Text Input" drop-down menu and paste the code in.

  • Validation W3C with Dreamweaver CS6 version 12-impossible

    Hello

Since a few days, find it me impossible to validate the HTML with the Dreamweaver CS6 validator, I use it occasionally for a few years, it worked well before and it is up-to-date.

I click as usual on validate the current document (W3C)

A popup window opens, that of dreamweaver that will send the document to end of audit service W3C (usual message), I click OK as usual...

Crowing instead results in the bottom of the Dreamweaver...

A popup window never seen before appears and tells... You will be redirected to a new website with button choice of Yes or not

I click Yes and a new popup opens instantly by saying...

The period of the application of the W3C service has been exceeded. The service (or your Internet connection) doesn't seem to work.

    The Internet connection is functional.

Someone else has this bug or am I the only one?

    How to fix this?

    Thank you

The validation in CS6 tool uses a former link and give an error when used. The W3C has changed their validation algorithm and gave him a new address. Adobe is more updated of CS6, so there is nothing you can do to get the validation to work correctly in the program itself any longer. Newer version have the correct link.

Use http://validator.w3.org/nu to access the W3C validator.,.

You can also use the Firefox browser with the HTML Validator extension and a list of errors each time get you a glimpse into the browser itself.

  • Problem Dreamweaver CS5.5 W3C validation

    Hello

I am french and I have this problem.

When I try dreamweaver CS5.5 W3C validation there was an error and has closed.

But the other function is good.

    What I can do.

    Thank you

Ah, looks like they have redirected the old link validator for the new validator algorithm.

This is the first time I noticed that.

It is possible that the passage is what caused the failure.

  • Adobe update and fix the validation button broken in Dreamweaver CS6?

The validation button is obsolete and showing this error: this document HTML5 control interface is deprecated. [HTML5]

As what I found, it is that they say it's the new location for posting: http://html5.validator.nu/

Is it possible to manually change this somewhere?

I don't think that CS6 qualifies for other updates, since it is the 5 versions of the current version of the creative cloud (CC 2014.1.1).

CS6 validation tool uses the W3C online validation service (the same one I use in Firefox Web Developer Toolbar) that's why we get the "out-of-date" warning message  Otherwise, the former W3C service works again - isn't it just great to date of HTML5 files.

  • Where can I find my settings file in Dreamweaver CS6?

I was given a computer brand new two days ago by our it staff.  They were kind enough to load all my software on the hard disk.  However, they have not migrated my settings on and now I have a problem.  All my information ftp to my site was on the old hard drive, but I need to have all of this information to set up the new hard drive.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

    Ubiquitous information:

    Dreamweaver CS6 v 12.0 Build 5808

    Windows 7 operating system

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!

If you still have access to your old hard drive, you can try to export your site settings...

Menu: Site > Manage Sites. Select the site and click Export selected site.

Simply import the ste on your new computer, and you're going to be ready.

  • Shortcut for preview of a page from Dreamweaver in Internet Explorer in Dreamweaver CS6

According to http://forums.adobe.com/message/4240830, alt + F12 is the shortcut for a page in Dreamweaver Preview in Internet Explorer in Dreamweaver CS5.5. What is the shortcut in CS6? For me, alt + F12 does not do anything on a computer running Windows 7.

Is there a way of manual (i.e. without keyboard shortcut) Preview in IE?

    Hi jmt111,

When you use the "Preview in browser" feature (FRP), Dreamweaver checks if you have a 'test' defined server. If you have a 'test' defined for your site server, Dreamweaver attempts to launch the file from the server 'test' instead of the 'Local' copy Dreamweaver never tried to start the 'remote server' file using the file of personal information.

For Dreamweaver to launch your local file using the file of personal information, please follow the steps mentioned below:

    1. Launch Dreamweaver
    2. Go to the menu "Site-> Manage Sites...". "to open the dialog box 'manage the Sites '.
    3. "Double click" of the site that you want to use to open the site to the site settings dialog box
    4. On the left, click on "Servers" to the list of servers that you have defined for this particular site
    5. Check to see if a site has the checkbox for 'Test' checked for it.
    6. If so, please uncheck the same
    7. Click on the Save"" button.
    8. Click on the "OK" button (the case may be, for the confirmation dialog)
    9. Click on the Finish"" button.
    10. Try to use GDP now to your file

    Please let us know.

I have Dreamweaver CS6 but want to update for cc, how ever I did mine and I sign in and upward at the site web adobe and want to use css Designer because with my courses, I do and they use CC. How can I get the upgrade with this new refund. Thank you

There is no way to update the version of perpetual license / DWCS6 drive to the creative cloud, they are two completely separate programs. There used to be a discount for the Creative Suite owners switch to CC, but that ship has sailed.

If you want to the CSS designer, you will need a subscription here: pricing and membership creative cloud plans | Adobe Creative Cloud

No, sorry.  There is no way to upgrade for CS6 or other Creative Suite users.

  • How can I download thickbox for dreamweaver cs6

There is no such thing as "Thickbox for Dreamweaver CS6". Thickbox is a jQuery widget that can be downloaded from ThickBox 3.1. However, it has not been updated since 2007, then you want to look for something more up-to-date.
